Questacon is simply amazing. The first time I went I was in year six and as a kid it was the highlight of our school trip. As an adult I have been about five times an be it's always enjoyable. Now as a teacher I was able to return with a new generation of kids and it was still the highlight of our Canberra trip. Get amongst it!

We really enjoyed our visit today. It seemed a bit pricey for two adults and a one year old because we utilised only the Mini Q. There were several exciting sensory experiences for babies. Our little one loved the water table with seats for seated water play. The car service area was quite exciting as well with flashing headlights and a petrol station. There is a baby change area, private feeding space and toilets in the Mini Q. If it didn't cost us $46 per visit as out of town tourists, we would go for another visit. Surely there is a way to have a reduced fee for the Mini Q only!

Great place to go with kids, it allows them to play and experience lots of scientific facts about lots of topics. My favorite sections were the sound and light transfers experiments. The museum itself has a very good design that makes you move from one gallery to another very smoothly.

There is admission fees, but if you have a membership with the applied Art Museum in Sydney you can go for free ( except for the exhibitions)

Every member n the family will enjoy going there.

I can see this place is absolutely brilliant for kids! Sadly, I am not a kid... Nonetheless, I had an enjoyable time with my family and family friends. I haven't been there for 16 years, but it's definitely great to visit, especially if you have kids. They will love it!

Great place for kids and has fun and exciting activities. It can pretty busy during holidays so you might want to go in the morning. They do have a cafe but you might want to head over to the slightly nicer cafe at the portrait gallery. The shop is a cool addition but is fairly expensive. Overall very tidy and fun place worth checking out!

The food at the cafe was awful, I advise bringing food. Because it is a place where children spend the day they should be more careful about food. The food is horrible, I hope they will change the restaurant management soon, I advise you to take your own food, taking into account that it is a place to spend the day with children, you should be more careful with the meals they sell.

Good fun for kids and adults alike, but more for the kids. Plenty of activities to play with so there isn't too much of a wait. The cafe looks decent but didn't try it. A good selection of learning/play souvenirs available for purchase too.

Science inspires the curious mind and we were positively inspired by our visit to Questacon. As soon as we walked in, we wanted to press and pull and play and jump and laugh and experiment with everything that was on offer! And when our kiddy hearts were content, we rested under the giant moon to compare notes of the scientific discoveries that we learnt along the way. Without a doubt a fun place to visit in Canberra!

Questacon was great. It really is as good as you think it would be as a kid. The only thing I disliked was their pricing as they include individuals aged 17 as adults and charge them $23 for entry. I thought that was strange. The cafe there was outrageously priced too! I paid around $30 for a powerade, 2 cheese and tomato sandwiches and a water. Outrageous.

The actual spectacle was great. The items there are both educational and entertaining making it the perfect place to take older children and for adults to expand their knowledge and just have some fun. The staff there were extremely helpful, offering to conduct as many experiments as we wanted to see and offering help and extra information on the items there.

While the gift shop was good, some items were overpriced and for the national science and technology institution, I feel as though some items could have been of better quality or more interesting.
