Great for kids. Take the time and make a day of it. Make sure you don't get stung by the parking inspectors though, they target that area
A must go place for any science and technology enthusiast
So much fun! My daughter has been before but enjoyed coming back again!
Lots of really fascinating things to see and there is something for the whole family.
Awesome place to learn about some science. Freefall slide was awesome
The go to for young kids and old. Well worth the membership. Mini Q entertains kids for hours.
Great place for kids to have creative play and learn. Fun exhibits. Had to pay for parking which was a bit annoying.
Questacon is simply amazing. The first time I went I was in year six and as a kid it was the highlight of our school trip. As an adult I have been about five times an be it's always enjoyable. Now as a teacher I was able to return with a new generation of kids and it was still the highlight of our Canberra trip. Get amongst it!
It was a great place i went with my school lots of things to do at questacon wonderful place to visit
This is literally the best museum I've ever been to
Good time with the kids lots to see and learn about. Staff all friendly and informative, different live shows on throughout the day.
We really enjoyed our visit today. It seemed a bit pricey for two adults and a one year old because we utilised only the Mini Q. There were several exciting sensory experiences for babies. Our little one loved the water table with seats for seated water play. The car service area was quite exciting as well with flashing headlights and a petrol station. There is a baby change area, private feeding space and toilets in the Mini Q. If it didn't cost us $46 per visit as out of town tourists, we would go for another visit. Surely there is a way to have a reduced fee for the Mini Q only!
It's a great place to take the kids. I learned a thing or 2 as well. Take a bike as there is plenty to see
Great place with great variety of topics and level of learning
So much for the kids to do and heaps also for the parents to learn.
A good place for science enthusiast's and for kids to learn how stuff works.
Great place to go with kids, it allows them to play and experience lots of scientific facts about lots of topics. My favorite sections were the sound and light transfers experiments. The museum itself has a very good design that makes you move from one gallery to another very smoothly.
There is admission fees, but if you have a membership with the applied Art Museum in Sydney you can go for free ( except for the exhibitions)
Every member n the family will enjoy going there.
I can see this place is absolutely brilliant for kids! Sadly, I am not a kid... Nonetheless, I had an enjoyable time with my family and family friends. I haven't been there for 16 years, but it's definitely great to visit, especially if you have kids. They will love it!
Fantastic place, staff are very knowledgeable and the activities make science and learning fun for the kids and the adults will learn a thing or two too
Everyone remembers the first time they went to Questacon. Hole cow it was fun! I don't think it should just be for kids!
Learning never stops ! Good for little and big people alike
amazing everytime! love science and love this place.
Pretty average for a science museum. Seems to be more geared towards children.
A great place for kids to learn while having fun! Amazing facility
Always heaps of fun visiting here and there is always something new
Great for anyone who loves science! Lots of cool interactive exhibits
Brilliant for visitors of all ages! Definitely worth the membership if you're local. The shows are very entertaining and informative!
Fun scientific place and amazing to learn new things
Yeah if we didn't get in for free I wouldn't have gone
Our family loved it here.. well worth the visit. Parking was good and close.
Kept the kids busy for hours and also the big kids
Favourite place for taking my daughter out on the weekend, enough things to entertain her for half a day and the presentations are all excellent!
Booking required due to Covid but a very interesting place to visit! The grade school students will definitely enjoy especially if they're interested in the Sciences!
Good place for growing kids.. highly practical knowledge build. Entry fee is bit high.
Great place for kids and has fun and exciting activities. It can pretty busy during holidays so you might want to go in the morning. They do have a cafe but you might want to head over to the slightly nicer cafe at the portrait gallery. The shop is a cool addition but is fairly expensive. Overall very tidy and fun place worth checking out!
It's a great experience for kids. It also brought back 30 year old memories.
The food at the cafe was awful, I advise bringing food. Because it is a place where children spend the day they should be more careful about food. The food is horrible, I hope they will change the restaurant management soon, I advise you to take your own food, taking into account that it is a place to spend the day with children, you should be more careful with the meals they sell.
Not the best place to go in the school holidays I almost drowned in children
Good fun for kids and adults alike, but more for the kids. Plenty of activities to play with so there isn't too much of a wait. The cafe looks decent but didn't try it. A good selection of learning/play souvenirs available for purchase too.
Great place to take kids and the staff are all very friendly.
Great place for all ages. Always something new to learn. Perfect if you want to spend a half day or more. The cafe offers good breakfast and lunch options. Recommended when in Canberra.
A must visit for children, adults enjoy pretty much too. Highly recommended!
Fabulous place to enjoy with your kids. We could've spent the whole day there. Fun! Parking is close (paid).
Love all the interactive things! The whole family had a great afternoon. Money well spent.
Perfect for a 5 year old boy who loves science. Thanks Questacon team.
Must visit especially if you have kids...interactive hands on activities..
A great place for kids to learn and get excited about science.
Science inspires the curious mind and we were positively inspired by our visit to Questacon. As soon as we walked in, we wanted to press and pull and play and jump and laugh and experiment with everything that was on offer! And when our kiddy hearts were content, we rested under the giant moon to compare notes of the scientific discoveries that we learnt along the way. Without a doubt a fun place to visit in Canberra!
Excellent for both kids and adults. Great section for small children. Cafe has lots to choose from and staff are friendly. Paid parking.
Questacon was great. It really is as good as you think it would be as a kid. The only thing I disliked was their pricing as they include individuals aged 17 as adults and charge them $23 for entry. I thought that was strange. The cafe there was outrageously priced too! I paid around $30 for a powerade, 2 cheese and tomato sandwiches and a water. Outrageous.
The actual spectacle was great. The items there are both educational and entertaining making it the perfect place to take older children and for adults to expand their knowledge and just have some fun. The staff there were extremely helpful, offering to conduct as many experiments as we wanted to see and offering help and extra information on the items there.
While the gift shop was good, some items were overpriced and for the national science and technology institution, I feel as though some items could have been of better quality or more interesting.
Brilliant exhibits which are both entertaining and educational. Fun and learning for all ages. Not to be missed.
ths place is highly addictive, even without kds i would come, i loved the 360 degree swing and everything else!!!
Good place to have a family visit. Consider annual membership, if you like the place.
My 3year old loved it. But she ran from one active to the next with out actually doing them. And cried so much because she's to little for the slide
Awesome family place, my kids loved it and I loved the moon.
Great place. If possible, more staff to explain please
