So interesting for kids and adults alike!! Book in asap as there isn't necessarily tickets available everyday. This is because they have really excellent covid-safe practices. The ticketek booking system is a bit tricky to navigate (it will say there are tickets available when only 1 is available but doesn't say how many) give the friendly staff a quick call and find out the next available time for your number of people, then navigate straight to that date and time, we had to book about 2 days in advance. It's worth it though because it's so nice being there without the crowds.

Disappointing visit for the price of admission. I would skip if you have children over 12yrs as the exhibits really caters for the younger ones. Staff posted around the site were knowledgeable and friendly.

The interactive displays are absolutely amazing and the staff have so much knowledge to share! The facilities are impeccably clean and it's very easy to move around all the exhibits. It's fantastic experience for all ages.

Your children will need a whole day to try everything in every gallery/room. Parking can be difficult during school holidays and public holidays. Rooms are packed during this period. If you have small children wanting to try an experiment, this may mean tiring wait times.

Do yourself a favour and don't eat from the cafe in the foyer - worst hot dogs and jumbo shakes aren't actually filled to full capacity.

There's a stall outside that sells Empanadas. Among their flavours - Corn with cheese and jalapeno; and Beef were OK. Others not quite.

Great place to take a younger child or an adult who enjoys science. Educational and interactive exhibits encourage visitors to take part and learn about science in a fun and practical way. Some excellent examples of carefully mixed science and art on display. Definitely worth the entry fee and allow a half day to tour through.

Great interactive museum, with a focus on kids engaging with science. While it's best suited for school aged kids, little ones get a special room too. Staff are very friendly and professional and Questacon is a must visit location in Canberra for families.

Science museum with some excellent interactive displays for the kids to get their hands on. They also have cleanliness In mind, with lots of hand sanitizer around to keep the German away after all the interactive play. Great day out with the kids!

An amazing place that engages kids and adults in science for hours. The vapor pool showing the invisible arrival of particles was awesome. The shows are entertaining and informative with very funny and knowledgable presenters. The staff were excellent. Everyone in my family thought this was the most fun thing we did during our visit to Canberra

Great place for all ages, but kids especially love it. Always bring the out of town relatives to visit every time they're here. My daughter loves it, especially all the great knowledgeable staff who make it so much fun.

The best science museum in Australia by far. A must stop destination for your inquisitive minds. Floors full of interactive displays and science experiments. Has reciprocal arrangements with Museums Victoria, so if you have a yearly pass, you get in for free - check your local Museum reciprocal arrangements. Each room focuses on different scientific topics. Exciting shows for the kids, check the schedule and plan so you don't miss a show.

Our 2 year old absolutely loved it, lots of activities for kids of all ages. The mini Q section is just amazing, we wished we can go for a second time (you only get a single 30 minute visit to it). Definitely worth visiting. You only need half a day to complete the whole place.

Fantastic centre to take children. There are lots of exhibits for older children (and adults!) And also miniq for smaller children where it's enclosed so they can't run away and there is a climbing area, water play and lots of different science based activities.
Keep in mind that it is pay parking in this area if you're visiting on a weekday.

Destination for families and anyone with an inkling of interest in the sciences or how or why things happen. Kids love it. Food is only okay at the outsourced Cafe. Better options elsewhere. Certainly a top ten attraction in Canberra for families and science buffs.
