Hotel Tappan is very clean in all respects and the furniture services are quite straightforward so much starry it up

From it's look its really beautiful hotel...all other services was also good..it's not the best...but I must say It's pretty good....
But they should provide free wifi to all rooms.
It's meaning less to buy for a foreign tourist to buy a sim card to use internet.
They is an option of enjoying wifi from your room by extra cost.
But it would be great if the provide free wifi to all room not just the cafeteria

This hotel has had its heyday, but the comfort is relative. While the rooms are large but not soundproof at all, the bedding is antique, the very average cleanliness. On the other hand the meals are varied and good.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels in giza The only problem is its place a little hard to reach

The hotel can say it is acceptable .. The swimming pool is large and sweet ... the restaurant is not sweet ... the rooms are good and clean

This was certainly a great hotel once, but it's starting to be a while ago. It is characterized by very lack of maintenance. Great outdoor area that is about to decay. Fitness room that could have been good, and it certainly was once. Poor cleaning in the room pulls down. Very listen from the hallway into the room. Nice operation. Absolutely fine food. Very concerned about security when entering the hotel, as they are everywhere where tourists travel in Egypt. The hotel is close to major roads and there is a lot of noise in the traffic in Cairo. WiFi in the room does not work. You get some slow WiFi in the reception area.

As an x hotelier all I can say that is way behind expectations, room is not cleaned enough, hot water needs more than 5 minutes to get even warm, no slippers, everything needs renovation...
No free wi fi in rooms, even on booking said it is free, during check out no bill boy to help with luggage so we had to pull 4 pieces of luggage all the way from room to reception..
A lot of notes during the breakfast I'd rather not to mention...

Hotel grounds are lovely. Spacious rooms. Nice pool. Big area. Will choosr this place again next time. Note that there is nothing (shops, attractions, etc) around the resort. Be prepared to get all your needs in the resort itself or go out. Uber's GPS is not correct when it comes to this place so you will need to wait outside the resort main gate to try and flag down your driver as he follows the GPS to the wrong place. LOL. You will need to help your driver look out for the resort on your return trip with Uber also.

The room service is very late and the breakfast is simple. The reception suite is good. The rooms are standard. The bathroom is very moldy and the decor is freshly renewed but in general a normal hotel where you can stay for a night or two

One of the best hotels in Egypt that takes care of parties, especially the party manager who works himself to follow all the big and small

Rooms were poorly clean ,the shower curtains were dirty ,the water had a yellowish tone .... no water also, free wifi only on the lobby but very poor signal... a place with lots of potencial however certain things were missing for a great comfortable stay.

The place is spacious and sweet and the linen is beautiful but the room is not sweet and pure, the furniture is old and the bathroom is terrible, the room service is bad, the style of the sweatshirts is terrible, they did not sell, they dealt in a very refined style, in a terrible neglect of all the workers, where the place was actually kept, it was possible to stay alive and better than that. 3 appliances required fixing and/or changing in the room.

The hotel is very good but the Lebanese companions are not interested in it. Parking is a vacant piece of land that is not planned, nor is it much needed

Booking prices are very appropriate
The service is 5 stars
The place is comfortable

It is a reasonable place and its price is reasonable, but it needs a little care because tourism is not suitable for tourists except for third class tourists

The place is quiet and upscale but needs some maintenance and attention

If you are not very patient, cool and kind to support the hotel to be better, don't go there.
I wasted my first night asking the hotel for fixing problems in the rooms and changing from room to the other.

Here is my feedback on the rooms I have exchanged.
Room 264:



- Room balcony is full of dust. Seems It has never been cleaned befor.

- toilet/WC water is not working.



Room 261:

- Electriccity: Lamps are ok but electric plugs in the wall are not working and needed to be changed and still some are not fixed.

- Shower water is not working and needs a plumer to replace it.

- TV remote control is totally broken.



Phone is not working. I didn't continue checking the rest of the room as beds were not matching our reservation.

Finally room 707 is a good one. I only had to change one bed to match my reservation.

One more stupid service, parking service in the hotel is not free for guests. You have to pay the parking separately.

The Hotel management have to invest in there fixed assets because it's all rusty and old

What a hotel scam, all old and dirty and has no view of the pyramids

We go to this hotel as we have conferences held in inside every 2-3 months,i can't deny we prefer this one over the others ,yet we reserved certain number of rooms as *minimum* less than 1/4 were ready when we arrived. Imagine doing a group check in from 8 am till 3 pm? I know it wasn't the receptionist problem,but that 1/4 was the number supposed to wait at the end of the day and not the beginning

As for the rooms , we got used to sleep on their mattresses that are on the floor, it is not that bad , but not for a hotel ,it can work for something else more of a camp or something.
Maintenance is extremely needed, every time there must be a problem in the room

As for the landscape, i admire the quantity of the green areas they have

As for the plenary , they need a full maintenance ,air conditioning system is not working probably
The small meeting rooms are not clean and their bathrooms are not working with a disgusting smell

Dirty bathrooms, brown shower water, sunken beds, ants in the room, poor quality buffet, site in works permanently stopped, areas cordoned off by being in poor condition ... It is seen that in its day it was a great site but now It is spoiled, old and without any maintenance.
