Waiting on the phone takes more than 30 minutes. The phone bill pay doesn't work. No email was ever recieved in order to establish service and to top it off they want a deposit of $150.... ...if only they could get it together enough for me to pay.

Two years ago, wrote a letter about my dilapidated power line to my home, but received no response from PNM customer service. I have lived in the home for thirty years and always paid my PNM bill on time, never late, always in full. My power line is about 30 years old as well and was frayed, with the insulation falling off and wires hanging down. Took photos of it and sent a second letter. No reply. I called them and asked them if they received the letters and when they could inspect the line. Customer service rep was rude and basically acted like I was a bother.

Now two years later and a storm with 50-60 mph winds hits the city. I have power surges in my home like crazy and four appliances get destroyed and heater transformer fried. I was scared of dying in an electrical fire. Called electrician and plumber. Electrician said this is dangerous to have that much power going into your home and spoke to customer service rep for me.

Finally, PNM sent out subcontractor to fix the line. I had to pay for heater repair and replacement of appliances. PNM does not care about you or your well being, and all their community service and awards are bs. They just want you to pay your bill while they neglect to trim trees and don't maintain the power lines.

I called Oct 6 to have service transfered to a new address. In was told that service would be transfered on Oct 27. I was told the same thing the two other times I called in October. It is now Nov. 1st and it still hasn't been transfered.
I have called every day and still get the same answer: they will back date my bill to the 27th after the "technician" can come to do the meter. They told me they have a"formula " to figure charges before transfer. But they won't give me the formula. I know math, no problem doing "formulas". But no, they won't give it to me.
I was told people with no power have priority. Beats me how a gynormous company making billions of dollars can't hire enough people. Or maybe, millions of people in Albuquerque have no electricity. Either way, company sucks.
Also, rumour has it that they will send me a huge first bill. This is just wrong.
I will try public regulation commission and my elected representatives.

PNM is literally trying to bill me twice for service's that have already been paid for. Due to a disconnect made in there error. These guys are trying to extort me. They disconnected my power in error my wife was talking to them at the same time i was, the representative that she was talking to sent someone reconnect power. She trying calling to say they are sending a tech out while I'm on hold with PNM. So I did not answer wife's call to me. I then finally make payment to rep I was speaking to and asked when will someone be over to turn power on. She said let me submit work order then says wait some is already on there way. What do you mean I said to her. She says some has already put in the work order and a tech is already in route. My wife then tells me what happens. I'm even more made but we figure oh well Bill is payed and power is on. Now I call for balance and find out they changed my account to monthly service and have regernerated bill from last issue and I owe that to along with current bill. How is this Legal or ethical.

Field agents disconnect you then leave you the notice without out even tryin to knock on the door first. 7 years of horrible experiences and no other options. Theres gotta be something we can do

Crooked as they come.Refused to accept my letter of credit from my previous utulity provider despite my stellar credit installed a new meter and shut my service off as a response to previous tenant outstanding balance june 6 even. Although may 29 I transferred bill to my name. Pnm Would not accept any kind of paperwork from my former provider in georgia.Pnm won't start service until I pay a deposit.Pnm stopped service with no communication to me. At time of disconnect a new meter was installed I caught the clumsy tech in the act. I contacted Pnm they call it a deposit but stipulate or contest any info attempting to establish credit outside deposit. There is no such paper in existence to the nature of "letter of credit" in any utility company or provider I've had.

Called their toll free number in regards to my account left my cell number with the automated system and never received a call back. Wish there was an alternative to a better electricity company. I had to follow up after the weekend otherwise I doubt they would have called back. Pay higher rates for mediocre customer service, if it s even that. Then waiting over 45 minutes to get my call answered. Verifying my account twice through automated then again with the operator. Then all of a sudden they received my payment via western union.

Worst company ever. These people don t care about their customers. Had power shut off due to a move. There was a miscommunication about the date. They shut the power off during the moving process and wouldn t turn it back on even though we have two little kids. Talk to a manager and they could care less. Said it was our fault and wouldn t work with us. Even offered to pay a fee to have someone come out and turn it on. Wish I could use another company out here. Very disappointed in their customer service. I would give them zero stars if I could.

most garbage humans of all time? possibly. Landlord forgot to pay electricity bill and with no physical notice to the residence, PNM shut ourpower off. okay. no biggie. Can't reach landlord. no biggie, We'll pay it and get a refund. They ACCEPT my payment but WONT turn power back on due to me not being the account owner? So tell me PNM? what the hell are we supposed to do in this situation? We can't magically get ahold of our mediocre landlord. Once our landlord finally gets ahold of them 8 hours later to confirm the power to be turned on again they say it'll take up to 24 hours. Please just off yourselves.

I went down to pnm this morning to try to drop off a paper from my doctor stating that I have to have the electric on so that I don't die at night because I am on a specialized EPAP machine that keeps me breathing at night. I talk to this woman that was behind a desk and told her what I needed and she said that no that didn't go there that that was a gas company paper. She said that it didn't belong there. I then told her that I got it in the mail from you meaning pnm and she kept insisting that it was the gas company even after I was trying to show her that it was from pnm. She was extremely rude and she would not let me speak and tell her what I was trying to tell her. This woman needs to be either reprimanded or removed from this desk. She does not have the bedside manner that needs to be at this desk being that she deals with people when they first walked in the front door. I will be talking to her supervisor as soon as I can get in touch with

This review concerns a PNM's start service inciden...

This review concerns a PNM's start service incident and the surrounding customer service.

The short of it is that I emailed necessary documents on the last possible day (last possible date before my move-in date would have to be postponed due to property management rules). I submitted the documentation 2 days prior to activation/transfer of service (due to factors out of my control). I called PNM the next day to verify, and I was told that the email was not received despite no gmail errors on my end. I was told to send the email again but that there was no guarantee I could get my documents verified prior to my move-in date, which would mean I had to move-in on a later date. I called a second time and spoke to Agent Jenna. She verified the documents have been received, but that there was once again no guarantee that things would be done in time. Imagine my surprise when Agent Jenna called me several hours later the same day and said my documents were verified and we could proceed. I was able to keep my move-in date.

I was very pleased with the overall outcome and the fact that PNM customer representative Jenna went out of her way to accommodate me so that my move-in date would not have to be changed. Thank you.

Pnm is the worst company i paid my bill every beginning of the month and now i get a notice of shutdowm saying I still owe. What a embarrassing company i pay my bills and to see that, they are unprofessional and don't give a dam about you all they want is money.

Upgrading my 2 star review to 3 because the guys out in the field work hard and in my opinion risk their lives getting the power back on for all of us. Yes, rates are going up and the customer service or lack there of is concerning, but at least I know the power is going to come back on.

The absolute worst. I carry multiple accounts with PNM because of my type of work and they send out multiple bills that they have ALREADY received payment for. They also like to transfer balances and credits so that tracking your accounts is damn near impossible. If I could rate negative stars I would because even in calling and speaking with several different representatives I still am unable to get any accurate responses as to which accounts were transferred where.

I moved into a house in December on our bill was around $178. That's a little high considering there is nobody living in it before but all right. Let's ask them to come read the meter again. Come January our bill sparked up to almost $298. 2000 kWh. And they refused to credit us. And deny that they ever estimated a bill before we moved in. How the hell can we move into a house that has nothing into it still have nothing plugged in because you're moving my stuff in and get charge of the $300 bill that doesn't make any f****** sense f****** service sucks on the workers don't give a f*** about anybody
