Winchester Country Club Review

Amazing golf course and great venue. The Boys and Girls Club of Placer County held a wonderful charity fundraiser for the kids! A huge success.

I played here for the first time on Father's Day. Located just above Auburn, this course has many unique holes and some with spectacular views. A very challenging course in the rolling hills with a lot of elevation change.

Very well maintained course but the green was on the slow side.

Course in nice shape, even with our late tee time. Not a course to play when you have a two way miss off of the tee box. No consistency with my driver, lost four balls in the hills or penalty areas. Green undulations can't be seen on your approach shots, so you may end up further away than you think.

Winchester was $65 a round last year. Now it bumped up to $225. They replaced the greens as they were destroyed due to maintanence error. And now tripling the price of green fees ??????????

Beautiful area with custom homes. Great walking paths, member golf course, pool, tennis courts.

Love the resort-like country living in this special country club community with so many amenities and elegant homes!

One of my all-time favorite Country Clubs. This place is unreal. You have to play here.

I am imployed at Winchester country club and I must say the people who I work with and the place that I work is probably one of the most joyful and best experiences I have ever had not to mention how beautiful and picturesque.

Course was great, the one star review is for the rude and unprofessional bartender lady who complained when we asked for a side of ranch with our meal after the 9th hole. Apparently walking 50 ft to the restaurant to pick up ranch Is a big inconvenience for her. It s a shame that gratuity is automatically included in your tab because she does not deserve it with service like that. We spent well over $400 on the round, food, and drinks and were shocked at the terrible service. Round was played on the afternoon of 11/9
