We met Shyloh in early November 2019 when we put an offer on a house that we ended up missing out on due to our offer being subject to the sale of our current property. This is when Shyloh took the time to explain to us that as a buyer putting an offer on a house subject to the sale of your house is not ideal and many sellers bork at the idea. At this point my partner and I decided to put our house on the market. Our house ended up selling much faster than the average sell time for the area even with Christmas and New Year plus heatwave conditions we experienced in early December which slowed the market down and reduced the numbers that went through our home opens. Shyloh always returned our calls and answered our emails quickly at all hours of the day and night. I definitely recommend giving Shyloh a go if you are looking at selling your property and looking for experienced and professional service.

Stacey Bennett was our agent when we rented in Bibra Lake while our house was being renovated. She was very friendly whilst being professional and everything went very smoothly. I would recommend Prowest to both tenants and Lessors after our experience dealing with them.
Very poor communication skills and manner. Everything was always someone else's responsibility. No end of troubles trying to contact the property manager, or anyone at the office, with even just email responses taking up to a month to receive.
Trades who finally came to the house to conduct much needed repairs (We had mould overgrowth on ceilings due to house structure) even commented on the poor communication and delays. Dismissive, rude and unprofessional.
I got into touch with Melinda some weeks ago, to put my house on the market. In these difficult times, I have found Melinda to be very professional, attentive, fair and informative, always available to talk to or get in touch over the phone.
She gave me good tips on how to prepare my property for sale, saw that what needed fixing, got fixed by me, in order to have the best chance for a sale.This was achieved in record time!

Outstanding service, excellent attention to detail
The team of Lyn and Shyloh planned and organised the home opens and auction without fuss, including providing display furniture and the "womens touch" to the presentation of the property. Queries and emails were always answered promptly and professionally. Their after-hours work to assist the eventual purchaser was outstanding and much appreciated. A true example of 'good old-fashioned service!'
I had a pretty bad experience with Prowest as a buyer first and then owner of an investment property. We bought the property through Prowest and the seller was unwilling to hand over the keys on the date of settlement. Realestate agent was unhelpful, rude and saying that as far they are concerned the sale was complete and it is upto me to negotiate with the seller when keys would be handed over. I called REIWA and they said - the agent can't say something like that and they need to make sure keys are handed over on time.
I thought my experience would change as the owner and I gave the property to them for management - a very bad decision. The property manager was very difficult to get in touch with. Rarely returned emails, hard to reach over the phone. Sent me photos of the first property report in a CD and the CD was blank. Offered tenancy for a period without consulting the owner. Had to always pursue regarding maintenance issues. Some emails/phone calls were never answered. Very bad experience and no body was keen to listen anything. Changed the realestate and never had to look back.
It is a year ago on a visit to Perth to visit family that we decided to look at the local area with Melinda to see prices etc plus the suitability to move to Perth. From that moment on our return to Canberra we were able to follow the local area market near Riverton by the Internet. Melinda was supportive and encouraging whilst we were preparing our house for auction in Canberra and from the moment we arrived in Perth she thoroughly guided us through the WA system of purchasing with ashtonishing commitment and expertise making the whole process run smoothly. All the staff I came into contact with in my renting experience with Prowest were helpful, friendly and remembered my name. Prowest values training, and it shows in their professionalism. They even laughed at some of my weak attempts at humour. I said that I wondered if they had any time left after training for renting and selling!
The Property Management team from Prowest Real estate have done a good job in managing my property in canning vale for the last 2 years. i remembered the oven glass panel in my property were shattered in winter this year, the oven is 8 years old and should be out of warranty. My property manager Kerri-Lee Hooper was not hesitate to contact all relevant parties actively and we end up replacing the glass panel under warranty. this have saved me money in replacing the glass panel. I have been looking at smaller homes for quite some time and have met Lyn at a couple of them. Lyn is always so courteous which makes for a comfortable viewing. I was not stuck on one particular area and Lyn was very helpful in advising the advantages of different areas. I finally decided to sell and Lyn could not have been more helpful. This was a biggy for me having been residing in my home for 34 years. But sell we did! And in quite a short time! Always professional I would recommend Lyn to any person considering selling.
Probably one of the worst experiences we have ever experienced when buying a development property from this real estate firm. We often buy properties for Development purposes and fair to say that their agent was extremely rude to me, unprofessional in her messaging/communication and more worried about "having a life" than doing her job to check the documents were correct and in order. Instead, she notifies us 1hr before the auction commences informing us that she will not accept our offer and that we cannot Bid! Ridiculous!
Thanks to her, we were unable to bid for this property and purchase it even though we were cash buyers. I hope no one else experiences what we went through with the agent selling Lot 1 & 2/ 210 Corinthian Road, Riverton.

I would have no hesitation in using Melinda and Shyloh again. They are both very professional and know their business well. They are both lovely to deal with, no problem was a problem for them. In my renting experience I consider this one of the poorer times I have been a renter in a managed property.
To begin with the property was maintained minimally to merely gain rent. There were numerous issue that could potentially raise the rent substantially with little cost, as well as numerous issues we raised that could be fixed before they became a more costly problem. These were not attended to during my two year time in the place and from talking to neighbours none had been done in at least the 4 years before me apart from fixing gutters (which were only partially fixed).
Upon the ending of my tenancy (when they got a new manager who decided to notify the owner of possible fix ups and as a result raise my rent substantially). I had a 9 week wait for return of my bond (4 weeks for them to organise paperwork, primarily by me pestering them in the 4th week), and 5 weeks for them to transfer the money to my account (after I hassled them during the final week). I received no apology for this.
Both these issues show a lack of interest not just for the tenant but also the land owner. It appeared to me that the agent was merely interested in the money (of which i was always on time), and not the customers.
I have never had a problem with a rental agent until my experience with this one and would rate them lower but I would not want it to reflect on what might be good management in other areas of the business.
