I had a pretty bad experience with Prowest as a buyer first and then owner of an investment property. We bought the property through Prowest and the seller was unwilling to hand over the keys on the date of settlement. Realestate agent was unhelpful, rude and saying that as far they are concerned the sale was complete and it is upto me to negotiate with the seller when keys would be handed over. I called REIWA and they said - the agent can't say something like that and they need to make sure keys are handed over on time.

I thought my experience would change as the owner and I gave the property to them for management - a very bad decision. The property manager was very difficult to get in touch with. Rarely returned emails, hard to reach over the phone. Sent me photos of the first property report in a CD and the CD was blank. Offered tenancy for a period without consulting the owner. Had to always pursue regarding maintenance issues. Some emails/phone calls were never answered. Very bad experience and no body was keen to listen anything. Changed the realestate and never had to look back.
