Lost words of how terrible how they treat you. Plus you can't live off of $29.00 - $300 a week. They more you complain the more they will make it harder. I would not even give a star if I could.

I truly love this terminal it is a very comfortable place to be while you're getting work done on your truck. Or simply getting a bite to eat the food is good and healthy. Also take advantage of the beautiful gymnasium to play some basketball. Also enjoy the beautiful weight room. I believe as a truck driver we do not get enough exercise as we should so Prime build a weight room and has cardio machines available as well. This is a very clean facility it seems like it is a resort every time I get the chance to go there I go to the Springfield terminal. I work Logistics for another driver who pulls Prime trailers I am afforded the same privileges as a company driver I have full access to all of the facilities I will not discuss my paycheck as I truly believe it has nothing to do with Prime. I believe Prime is a good company and pays very well I'm looking forward to the day when I can become a prime driver

After working for this business , I am left feeling split about it . Some good pros to it , like some of the staff is genuinely friendly . Nice ,clean mostly new trucks (company driver), lovely grounds / landscape . Good places to eat inside the facility and within 5-10 miles of Prime.
Cons : Some staff will lie to your face , cheat you out of your money if you don't watch them like a hawk . They will pin bad loads on you ,when it was clearly screwed up long before the driver got to the load . Fake unfriendly staff that will give you the run around so they don't have to deal with you ( or they are clueless on how to answer you ) . Overall , a few good things there that help you along the way , but very bad for business , shady type dealings going on .

I m a driver for a competitor of yours. I won t mention their name. I feel obliged to tell you what I ve just witnessed. Your trainer on truck #690586 has to be the most efficient and patient trainer I ve ever seen. He walked around the truck and did a COMPLETE pre trip with his student. I am absolutely impressed with him. I only wish my trainer would have cared 1/3 as much as you re man. Super job Prime. He is producing efficient drivers. By the way we are at Interstate Warehouse Joliet, Illinois on 8-24-18 @ 20:48 in case I ve gotten the truck number wrong. Jared Goodwin

I just came in to get a lease recovery truck ready to lease again. The entire process was so efficient. The mechanics shop, body shop, detail shop, and leasing just worked fluidly. The whole team of people were great like Shawn B. (Shop), Chelsey R. and Katrina (Leasing), and many others. Thank you all for making this experience a great one. Truckers could not exist without teams like this backing them up. Thanks a million!

Started this company as a rookie with about 6 mont...

Started this company as a rookie with about 6 months experience. I went out on the road with a trainer for about a month, he pretty much had me sitting in the passenger seat and used my clock to run all the loads. i swear to god he drove 23 hours alone one night non stop, he just kept stopping to switch the clock around. I literally drove about 3 hours out the entire month. After training he recommended that I start off as a lease driver, claiming I can make a ton of money. I took his advice, after training I leased a truck with prime and it was the worst experience ever. They would have me sitting a lot telling me they don t have loads for me to run and some weeks I would owe them money at the end of the week. The dispatcher will play games with you acting like he doesn t have good loads when really he s just giving them to his favorite drivers knowing you have a $1000 truck payment over your head. As soon as you tell him you ready to quit he will give you a load going from Newark nj to Long Beach California. The lowest checks I had was negative $150 2 weeks in a row. it took me 3 weeks to get out of the whole. I never went home the entire time I leased. The truck payments were around $1000 a week. Driver pays for maintenance outside of warranty. So if a tractor tire blows you are responsible for it. If you damage the truck in any way you can be charged a large amount depending on how bad it is. You will pay for truck towing, no matter if you a company driver or lease. After about a month and a half i took that truck back to the terminal and switched to company driver. The experience was a little better. I drove with company for about a year then I decided to turn my truck in to move on to better things. I told them I wanted to drop the truck off at the Wilkes barre terminal. They told me I can take it there so I went there and turned in all my equipment and they inspected the truck. Everything was good. I payed my own way home because they wouldn t, whatever I just wanted to leave. I then applied for a new job and the company I wanted to work for denied me because I had abandonment on my DAC report. So I had to call prime to take it off, I guess someone did that out of spite I m not sure. Anyway If you thinking about going to this company I would recommend that you be a company driver, but overall I do not recommend over the road truck driving to anyone. The money you will make at prime you can make that doing something else. Do not waste your life here. I drove all 48 states and it was nothing to see. If I wanna travel I d rather go on trips with ppl I know. Over the road is not what you think it is. It s a boring senseless lifestyle. I gained a lot of weight living out there. I literally heard of ppl dying in the trucks for being unhealthy. Men are dying at young ages for trying to make a couple dollars in trucking. I m not writing this review to bash the company. I just want to inform people of what I went through. Thanks if you read this!

This is the best program i have been involved with. Yes the truck payments maybe up there, but after everything is said and done, I still average out to the same or more revenue/income than with the other leases i have done with other companies and usually more. If your not making money here, honestly you should look at how your running your truck and managing your business finances. I go home when i want, and pull out of it pretty quickly to and the same with repairs to. Also if your not making money here heres some advice: get all your bills worked into a reasonable budget, and dont look at your settlements as your paycheck, cause its not. Your settlements is your business income, which has to pay business bills: taxs, maintance, supplies, etc.. pay yourself a salery every week as an employee from your settlements and the rest or most of your settlement should go to the business account for the business. I know for a fact it works to, because all of my none business bills total a little over $3500 a month, and i have always been able to pay those. Hope this helps some of you and good luck!

One of their drivers just almost ran me, and multiple other vehicles off the road in Fulton ny..They had no respect for the roadway, throwing hand signals and screaming at people after THEY switch lanes 4 times in the middle of 5 o'clock traffic. When I called, was on hold for almost ten minutes then was dismissed quickly when actually talking to someone. Sad that they don't care about people's safety..

Without a doubt one of the most irritation companies to do business with. Classic case of too much business with too few people to give your business the attention it deserves. Phones are never answered, if they are, you'll be on hold for 20 minutes. Again, too big for their britches.

I went to school here for one week completed everything passed my CDL and medical .
Was told to go home to fix my medical records. I did that was told i was clear to return.
Went back down there and was told to go home and that i would be told when to come back.
Well got a call today and was told i was being let go because i was rude which i wasn't.
Was told when let go it was because i was unprofessional and that i was still in my interview- not true first 2 days are interview processes like - your medical MVR check and Background check and at the end you do your CBTs and sign your contract.
I had been sitting at home for 7 days to come back.
I texted and e mailed several times telling them this was ridiculous .
I completed my week training got my CDL permit signed my contract .
I drove my own car down there was told that would be recompense never happen.
Was told i would be paid $200 a week that never happened.
This school will lie to you and cheat you.
And they discriminate.
DO NOT USE THEM.

I tried to visit the PRIME terminal about a month ago with my girlfriend. It used to be if you were an outside carrier they had available parking for you and you were allowed to visit the terminal. When we got to the gate we were given the bums rush. There was no parking available for outside carriers and we were not allowed to visit the terminal. We were given a name and a phone number of a recruiter. I had visited the terminal several years earlier and I wanted to show my girlfriend how nice it was. No longer. Outside carriers are not welcome at the PRIME terminal!

Prime has been wonderful for us. It probably helps...

Prime has been wonderful for us. It probably helps that we have an amazing dispatcher (Ryan B.) who works with my husband instead of fighting him on everything. My husband went to trucking school and applied (When applying you MUST do it online first) two weeks before his DMV test and they called him the day he took the test. He hears a lot of people say, "Oh, I'm sorry you work for them. They make you drive too slow, you don't make any money." We find that isn't true. They do ask you to drive slower (which improves fuel efficiency) BUT they pay you a fuel BONUS for anything better than 7.25mpg. They have lightweight trucks which get that easy, plus "wings" to help increase that mpg. My husband started at $.43 a mile for the company, they paid him back his school costs, and at Springfield and Pittston terminals you can see how much they take care of their drivers. We followed our dispatcher to the lease fleet and are seeing even more money. My husband says he knows they're quality because they take care of their drivers and they take care of their equipment.

Ohhh boy where do I start....

Ohhh boy where do I start....
My partner started here training as COVID happened and I had to stay home to take care of our kid. Once he started getting paid it was enough to pay the bills and get groceries. We understood the money wasn't gonna be the best till he got out of training which was something we were willing to wait for.
Insurance was being offered and we desperately needed insurance for our 2 year old daughter little did we know our nightmare would start....
This started in April... They gave us till end of June as a grace period or deadline to get the info they needed to them before they could start our insurance. We had a heck of time getting my daughter's birth certificate due to COVID shutting down town offices... I know should of had it prior but we assumed wrongly we could just pick it up when we needed it.
Fast forward to July we finally turned in what we needed. That grace period? We apparently being charged the whole time for while we weren't being given insurance! He ended up having to pay for 2 MONTHS while not receiving a paycheck...
We had a savings and still were able to pay bills at least but it was stressful and disheartening as we weren't told he was still being charged during this grace period and would be made to pay later.

Soooo August comes after the 14th he was finally supposed to get paid an actual paycheck! Didn't happen because he and his trainer had home time which meant he was off for a week.
Oh well. We still should be able to make part of our rent if he got a paycheck the next to weeks....

Gets a call in the middle of the week during home time and was told they had a truck and he needed to come back to Pittston. We were estatic as it meant he was now officially a company driver making the full pay.

He gets to Pittston on Friday night gets a Hotel where they didn't have a reservation for him (this is where things go even more south and I had a bad gut feeling.)

He calls the terminal they said they couldn't book a reservation (or some excuse) but he could pay for it with his own cash and they'd reinmburse him... He only had enough for the weekend and even that would leave him with nothing to feed himself! So they advanced a portion of his next paycheck which was great but still shouldn't have happened.

I wish it ended there... Keep in mind they told him they had a truck ready for him.

He goes to the terminal does a review training course before they would allow him to drive his own truck. It took him 2 days and he was eager to get going as now we have about run out of our savings.
Its Wednesday by this point no truck.... They have no truck for him! After they told him they did... A few more days go by he gets paid but no paycheck it goes straight to what he owed during his home time....
They promised him they would try and get him on a truck Saturday, nope.
Now he's been stuck in the terminal for a week.
He can't go anywhere, we're not gonna make our rent at home (haven't missed rent in the 4 years we lived there.) and we're going hungry.

DO NOT MAKE OUR MISTAKE!!
We thought this was gonna change our lives and get us a leg up specially during the pandemic instead we were taken on this absolute nightmare of a ride.

I'm now seeking legal counsel because we still have not gotten insurance cards and I don't think the insurance fiasco was even legal and they're not holding their end of the bargain.

So apparently this is not an equil opertunity employer based on how I was treaded.
CDL holder with clean driving record and ready to work is not qualified because don't have recent work history. Seems kinda medded up to fault someone for taking time off to be with family. And when theire ready to work again they get stink eye.
I would not reamed this company anyone for said morel choices. But that's my opinion

I joined prime last year September 2019 , got my training 40.000 miles . I feel discomfort my first weeks . Some of my friends told me the company is not good . but my older brother who is ex prime retired driver told me prime is best company of trucking . I am not sure who these folks are lying about the good money at Prime. These people
must have never really made any true good money. What the heck is $400-$600 a week. My goodness these people must live in a hut not a house. If you are accustomed to making good money and I am talking at least on the low end $1500.00 a week, then guess what? PRIME is not for you. Its a crying shame, these folks are leasing trucks out at $900 a week, and the variable cost per week is running at least $1200.00 a week to lease a dog gone truck. Somebody is getting rich at prime and guess what? it aint the drivers. They put you on a bus and get you to Prime, and they lie like a rug up in orientation, make everything sound so good. Show you the millineium room and all of that crap, the basketball courts, who gives a rats behind about that? People want to make money not throw it in the basketball goal. I am telling you I could write a book, but guess what buddy I don't have the time to get into all of this. If you want to make money, you better run as fast as you can from PRIME......STAY AWAY.....NEW DRIVERS OLD DRIVERS........RUN RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN.
