I found the architecture of the place very cool, really beautiful. The collection itself is not one of the most numerous, but the visit paid for the painting by the painter Gerhard Richter, one of my favorites. Never seen live !! It is very worth knowing. Admission is paid, obviously.

The architecture of the building itself is definetly amazing as well as the surrounding area. I am not a big art fan but some of the art here is garbage. I mean literally garbage. One of the exhibts was garbage collected from a beach and sortet by colors. Well that is not really art to me. It really depends what your view on art is.
It was kinda cool to see and I asked myself I could do the same thing, but it seems its not easy to get paid for it...

Excellent museum The curatorship is impeccable. The best to see in Miami. On the second Saturday of each month, admission is free. There are educational activities for children. It is located off the coast, on Wednesdays it is closed.

Again! PAMM is a must visit for any tourist coming to Miami! Now that the Science Museum is finished, I cannot stress it enough that you come down and hang with friends over a meal and look at the modern art in all it's glory. World class artists are looking to be presented here and it is beautiful.

One of my favorite museums, if not my favorite one! They always have new stuff to show (been there like 5 times). The shop is kind of expensive, but you can find cute souvenirs to take home. The art is modern, avant-garde, and it touches on topics like migration, sexual abuse, women s issues, etc. I always learn something new when I visit!!
This place is not for you if you don t enjoy art, there s a lot of reading involved in order for you to understand the pieces.

Tiny young museum featuring interesting modern and contemporary art. Great views of the Biscayne Bay that pair well with a beverage on the patio. Parking is $8 for the first hour and $4 thereafter. Large gift shop and ample clean bathrooms round out a good viator experience. I've been at least five times and will definitely go back.

Great date place. Go to second floor enjoy the swings , grab a beverage at the cafe, watch the activity over Biscayne Bay. Love the architecture as well the exhibits. Prior to entering, walk through the blue tubes located on the westside.

Beautiful structure, large rooms, an auditorium and a beautiful garden on the lagoon. But the contents of the museum impressed me neither in quality nor in quantity. I would not go back unless there is some interesting temporary exhibit. This time I found an exhibition of audiovisuals quite meaningless.

This art museum is not even great, it has very few art pieces that takes 10 mins to walk around and see everything. This place doesn't have much to do after you see all the historic art, wouldn't be great for a long day at the museum, just pay your fee and get out after you pay for parking. I guess that is why they added the science museum in front of it, so you can go spend more money over there too. I wouldn't recommend this art museum to anyone! There are way better places to see art, pieces that you will actually enjoy and have a full day with the family, or on a date. This place could actually be way better, but they just want money and really don't care about the art they are displaying.

They don't allow motorcycles, why not create a better way for motorcycles to park and see your museum? What kind of audience are you really trying to attract? I'm sure motorcyclist deserve to go to art museums, but no you decide to discriminate, it is sad! Motorcycles hardly take up any space, saves the environment by using less pollution, and many more. Instead of thinking about the motorcycles you make them park on the street, where their bikes can get stolen. Unfortunately I needed to go for a class and had to park down the road and a terrible parking area and had to give my money to you guys.

I'm an avid museum goer, especially art, and was a bit disappointed with PAMM. This museum is stricter than any other I've been to with regards to proximity to the pieces. Some have actual barricades or floor markings telling you how close you can get. I understand wanting to protect the pieces, but I've never seen that anywhere else I've been and it made it hard to see some of the art.
There was a nice older latina guard who was knowledgeable and taught my son some things about the art. However, when I went to a room with neon light work, I asked the female guard at the door if there was a moment when all of the pieces would be lit at once since they were only lighting one at a time. She rudely and firmly told me "I don't know". How do you not know if you've been standing right there?
The outside of the museum is beautiful and has a few fun installments which make for great photo ops. Glad to have seen it but I won't be back. Norton Art Museum or the Wolfsonian are more worth re-visiting in my opinion.

We went at the recommendation of my brother who's in architecture school. It was so much fun to take pictures here. The swings are so much fun and overseeing the water/bridge is so relaxing. It's a nice walk to Bayside too so it's nice to make a day of it

I love contemporary art and try to visit art museums all over the world. To say about Perez Art Museum I was impressed by the architecture of the building. There were some artworks that are worth to see. Love the idea of representation of video art - the labyrinth of rooms you should walk through. But in general it was not really impressive.
Be prepared to pay $8 per hour for parking.

For a day explorer of the most contemporary of the current art of the whole world. Ideal for the family and for art students. Cuban art, sure!

Facilities, painting, souvenirs! Come and see for your self!

A few weeks ago, I had the great pleasure of attending the inauguration of Christo (and Jean Claude) "Surrounded Islands", a huge performance of all the work from 1980 to 1983 in the Bay of Biscayne whose assembly took a month to the staff of the Museum. Excellent sample! I hope to have time to see her again more calmly, because it is really exhaustive.

This museum is really really nice. Sitting on the ocean, the building itself is a work of art along with the hanging garden outside, I think it's a must stop of you are visiting Miami. It's really beautiful. The inside is also amazing, but... It's Miami. Big white space with little art thingies in the center. I took one star off for that :p the Miami sky train also stop there
