The Perez museum is Miami newest Art Museum right on the water on Biscayne Bay. The Perez Museum can be enjoyed in two to three hours. The Perez has a restaurant with approximately $15 the $30 items. They also have a coffee shop with three to $5 coffees and similarly priced pastries. This has a great outdoor sitting area with a view of the Biscayne Bay but suffers from loud noise from the causeway especially is trucks Rumble along. Parking cost about $10 for the entire day at the Museum including getting coffee and hanging out for a while.

Amazing Amazing Amazing experience. This museum is so beautiful. For starters, the entrance is a little tricky to find also considering the are right next to the McArthur Causeway ramp right next to it- so the traffic is a confusing during rush hours and weekends. But once inside, parking garage is open, fresh, cost is $10, paying stations are easy to find and most importantly, public transportation is available right inside the premises. Museum always have new things and events every month. Conssecionaires and Gift show are conveniently located by the patio. The patio (thats how I CALL IT) have the most inspiring/romantic/stunning view to the water. They have hammocks and other spots great for pictures. They also have a park right next to the "resting" and eating areas where they conduct fun activities for kids like building with giant legos! You MUST visit this place.

Very modern construction wide and with good rooms for. There should be more variety of samples. Face the entrance for seniors. The gift shop and the restaurant are very good. Beautiful the terrace overlooking the port of Miami as well as the garden with a series of sculptures. A beautiful walk to get out of the shopping malls

I can't believe the expense of running this enormous building along with security guards in every room. Most of the art is something you'd see in any college art studio. Many pieces are found art trying to make a political statement that could have been reduced to something scribbled on an 8x10 paper, nothing clever or even aesthetic. I paid once to go to this museum and then a few months later, there was a free event. Most of the same artwork was there. If you visit the Perez, I'd advise skipping the inside of the building and just enjoying it's outside scenic view for free. Or wait for one of the free Thursdays, then you're only left to pay a heavy parking fee...if you drive instead of using the metrorail.

Beautiful museum inside and out. Artwork a lot of Latin and Cuban influence but very interesting. The outside of the museum and the surrounding grounds are just magnificent. The blue string maze as you enter is awesome! Highly recommend a visit here.

Restaurant wasn't good enough, they could do better. Very disapointed on there drinks, will not ever order a cocktail there.
Infrastructure is amazing, millions well spend. Not worth $16 for the artwork, especially having midtown so close by.
Great outdoors, view is extremely relaxing and a must for all turist.
Parking is $2 an hour. Not pricey at all.
Carefull where you park cause certain parts will get muddy if it rains (mayor flaw).

Probably the best art institution in Miami. Gorgeous building, nice fun staff, doesn't look like a traditional museum inside either, lots of windows. There's always interesting exhibits and they stay for a while. It's nice to see local artists in here as well as Afro-Caribbean and Hispanic contemporary art. They have a fund which allows them to show women artists more often than any other museum in the country. Do not miss PAMM if you're traveling! First Thursday and second Saturday of the month are always free.

Magnificent building and architecture, if you are into that type of interest then definately reccomend. The views towards the bay are world class and there are a few things to do without having to get into the museum itself. The museum was closed for renovations so can't attest to the quality of their ongoing exhibitions.

I love visiting this museum over and over again. There is always some sort of artwork I really enjoy here. Its small enough to see in a day but you can spend hours here admiring each piece. The exhibits change every few months so its a treat to come back and be surprised with something new. There is always something interesting and weird on display whether its a giant wall mural, an interactive piece, or a video, anything that makes you think and challenges you to see things from a different perspective. The building itself has a nice architectural design and the view outside is beautiful. There is a mini park nearby on the water where I have seen people getting married.

If you like Modern Art, this is your place. A great exhibit was going on, not sure it is worth $16. But, on a free day you will not be disappointed. So go on a free day! Try the swings out front, run through the blue silky string interactive sculpture.
