Gorgeous museum with interactive displays and extraordinary artwork. A must see in Miami.
Gorgeous museum with interactive displays and extraordinary artwork. A must see in Miami.
I don't know if we went in a bad day but was expensive for what we got. May be one time ticket visit is not worthy and you have to get the annual pass to really enjoy this place during the year. For one day I do not recommend it unless you know what are you gonna see and you know that you like it.
You have to go, if not inside the Museum, make a Park visit
Like everything except the gear place... Too genetic and everything was pretty much the same thing
For $16/adult, it's an awesome place! If you're a fan of the arts, you'll love it.
Very interesting artwork and exhibits.
I have been here maybe 7 times already. Highly recommend taking the metromover to get here
Very nice place to visit. Has some green area around It and a nice view to the ocean. However you need to pay 16 dollars to enter.
Lots of contemporary and modern art. The location is great, parking, the architecture is nice. Great place to relax. Would like to have seen some other forms of art.
Spacious and quiet spaces, friendly guides, well presented. Even the outer spaces of the museum are pleasant.
Absolutely beautiful museum. The architecture and the artwork showcased make for a wonderful experience.
It's okay, not great. It's big but there's not a lot of stuff inside.
A good place to see an amazing building and must visit the exposition surrounded islands.
Honestly pretty boring. Some of the art there don't have any meaning to them, or a story to begin with. More specifically, the descriptions they have for the artwork are just boring and shallow. It also gets boring after a while, and the food service outside is terrible. We went the other day and it took them about an hour for one pizza! Then they told us it burned in the oven (obviously) and they were making us another one. We were there for two hours, when all we ordered was a pizza! It was just horrible and I hope we never have to eat there again.
Beautiful space to spend an afternoon. The museum's design and ever changing exhibits are a pleasure to experience. There is a beautiful space in front of the bay to sit on steps in shade and sip a nice cup of coffee from the Museum's Cafe or even have lunch. There are kids friendly events every second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
I am not much of an art buff, so take this review from the stance of an average consumer. The place is very warm and inviting. There's a sense of welcoming and community here. The exhibits are beautiful, and the outside seating is relaxing. This an exceptional place for families, or couples going on a date. There's a restaurant called Verde on site too. Not sure how it is yet but it looks healthier, and perhaps more on the "green" side. Clever joke I know.
There to go, also that its parks and surroundings are incredible
The architecture and location are the perfect setting for the magnificent and meaningful art, both items in the permanent exhibition and other works there on a temporary basis.
It is without a doubt one of the best looking museums in town. Interesting art but not the best
A great spot to relax. Great water view, nice breeze, chairs and benches on the back.
Also a great pace to take pictures.
BEWARE!!!! $800.00 iPhone stolen from my kids car in a gated area in 15min. And the only people who had access was staff or security. Nobody there would help her including the lady at security who oversees the cameras. Seems like the just swept her under the rug. The security that they have employed there will steal from you. BEAWRE!
The building is really awesome. It s got these awesome tube structures that are full of plants, it s right on the water, and it s very modern and cool. The restaurant is really nice too. It has a great view of the causeway and the water. The food is really good, and the drinks are nice too. The art is very mixed. They have some great pieces, the boats in the lobby, the blue arch in the front of the building, a few others, but they had a lot of bad pieces too. Still, definitely worth a visit I just wish they would step up their selection a bit!
Well flowing galleries, clean and bright. Fantastic collections featured with Caribbean artists at the moment. George Segal's "Abraham's Farewell to Ishmael" is absolutely breathtaking.
I loved the facilities. A beautiful work of architecture.
Absolute LOVE, one of the best public spaces I visit here in Miami on this short coming, if Miami had more of this ir would be a completely different feel. You can walk by the ocen, enjoy a bike ride and stroll around the building. Is one Jewel in Miami. Nearby is also the Zaha Hadid Building, so you can also go and meet that.
Not much art to observe. The least interesting museum ive been too
Very nice museum, it is a shame that the exhibition I was when I went was not very pleasant.
Best Contemporary Art Museum in South Florida by far. Well curated arts, the building itself a work of art. You will notice it as soon as you drive in to the parking lot.
Outside of Museum is even more amazing with view of Intercostal, cruise ships docked.
Entrance to museum is $15 per adult ( free on 1st weekend of the month for Bank of America account holders )
Parking is $2 an hour ( well worth it )
Beautiful and clean art museum with fascinating exhibits.
Fascinating place. They have a football exhibit on the occasion of the 2018 World Cup that is great. The permanent collection also very good. And the installation that is entering I love.
Have. Less work than him.malba in quantity ... put ... an incredible room Eeee!
Much spectacular Cuban work
The building is beautiful. And the hanging tubes with plants are to copy
Closed wednesday
I give it 2 stars it's not worth the price I know it's to expensive for the experience..I think if it was free with free parking alot of people would visit the place also it would make it a better place..the rent is going up every second of the day..a one bedroom apartment in the downtown area is not cheap..so if people had a free place or places like art galleries.. this city Miami will be number#1.. I been in Miami my whole life..I can't afford to pay everything even with a good job..we must stop charging money for places like this..art is medicine ..art helps with life issues..so let this place give free stuff for at least a few years..it's only fair for people who are trying their hardest in life to get by..so understand that why I give it 2 stars..go to the commissioner meetings every frist Tuesday of the month.. thank you for reading this and god bless you and your family...
Beautiful museum with privileged panoramic location, both to enjoy it inside and in its surroundings.
Fun place to go and they change the theme often . I love it
Perhaps my favorite place in Miami, excellent curation, local and international art exhibitions, fantastic cafe, beautiful building and grounds on Biscayne Bay
Beautiful, beautiful place! We went for happy hour. Only downside is parking was $20... Not sure we're all willing to pay that when we could do happy hour elsewhere with no parking fee.
This is a terrific modern art museum. The free tours are informative and highly recommended. The building itself is a work of art, and the collection is very well curated. The restaurant is worth visiting even if you don't go to the museum. Quality food, fresh ingredients, and friendly service go a long way. Easy access to mass transit and plentiful parking make it easy to visit. This is a highlight of any trip to Miami.
Always something interesting on exhibit and the cafe in the back has great food and a wonderful view.
Amazing food. Didn't get a chance to hit museum but heading back soon
WE live in Florida three month annually...True: Hands down, PEREZ is one of the most impressvie aspects of Miami.
One can easily grow tired of miles of strip malls and too much sunshine...this is a "Must See" when in Miami. Great parking, easy access, and world class exhibits. Plan on spending time exploring the many floors and numerous exhibits.
I enjoyed myself not sure if it's kid friendly although kids were their on a field trip
Small and easy to access. Everything well explained! the only thing is that it would lower the price of the entrance a little.
The museum is beautiful, the staff are all friendly, great day to spend with the family.
Cool building; liked it more than the art in the galleries. Nice views outside and around the property. Art display was good also, but some dark and political, if you like that.
Great jewel on Miami. Entrance fees are steep for this small museum if you are not a patron.
Loved the food in the cafe. Great views. Many special exhibits. If unfamiliar with area get directons; gps will take you on a tour, there is much construction in the area.
Amazing experience . We were lucky to have a tour by an artist that works with the museum .
Loved it! I saw my first Picasso Le Femme a la Montre 1932! Honestly, I felt the energy from the painting. So many beautiful works of art, so much history. Please visit. Visit often. They always have new exhibits.
This is a WOW museum. You have to see it, beautiful architecture, restaurant and extraordinary exhibits.
Grounds are inspired and have great views of harbor and the many yatchs.
Very interesting works, modern, in an impeccable environment
Excellent, wonderful architecture. A spectacular view, ideal to relax for a while.
Awesome museum with a lot of space and a big collection ! The staff is very professional and very nice too
Absolutely fantastic! Half is outside! Modern and unique. Beautiful building
Good place to get out of the rain and wind. I found the video exhibits hilarious but they're definitely not for everyone. The art is more abstract and contemporary.
