Hotel Kempinski Wuxi ***** Reviews

The name changed to "Crown Plaza Hotel" from April 1, 2018. I did an opening ceremony just when I stayed.

!! Attention, security problem & no responsible action from the hotel !! I would personally stay away from it.

!! Be careful, take care of your valueables. The hotel will not take responsibility of your stuff IN THE LOCKED SAFE, even the money is obviously stolen by internal employees !! 4000 EUR stolen, no reaction from the hotel management. As gast, you are totally helpless.

My friend stayed there on a business trip and kept cash in the hotel room safe. But 4000EUR (part of the total amount) was stolen without any traces of burglary. After looking at the video from the surveillance camera, the cleaning crew must have been, because otherwise no one else would have come in, barred window access from the hotel and the police. Obviously, this was deliberate stealing by hotel staff in the hope that the guest would not count the amount. ACCIDENTALLY it was also the day before departure that the possibility of attracting attention is small.

The hotel pushes all responsibilities away. As a guest who would have to leave at 7 a.m. on the second day, my friend is alone. That is not what you would expect from a 5-star hotel.

Hotel room is quite spacious. Very relaxing ambience. Good staff response. Quiet surroundings. Nice park nearby. Gym could be better. Real value for money

On the whole OK, the internet connection could be faster and the service at breakfast should be improved. But I would stay here again anytime.

Two building, one building for apartement and other for hotel room, the view is very beautiful expecially at night, near everywhere and I like to walk around the hotel. Its about 2 km from taihu Lake, the beautiful lake

Wi-fi is not reliable.
Continental breakfast is Available.
Communicate with English is bit difficult.

Hotel crowne plaza altogether very good in a central location close to bars and restaurants, well structured with all services. The breakfast is very abundant and very varied for anyone's taste. Helpful and courteous staff. Comfortable rooms clean and equipped with all comforts. At the entrance there is a brewery restaurant, good but extremely expensive beer, an average beer 10 is excessive
