This is a FAKE COMPANY! This is African based scammers looking to steal money from you. They contact you in an email promising you $20 per hour. The caller calls from a computer. During the interview they tell you they will send you a check with instructions.

took me a while to write this review, but after all the garbage they put me through, i finally want to post my shiny 1 star.

great company to work for, if nepotism and unfair treatment is your thing.

if you want your manager to be the cousin of the area manager, who's related to the district manager, who's married to someone in HQ, who's sister is also in HQ... you get the gist. never have i worked for a company that allows so many people that are related to one another to be in so many different managerial positions. it's called conflict on interest.

unfair treatment:
i was repeatedly accused of lying about medical emergencies. yet each time i had proper doctor/hospital documentation to excuse my absence. management refused to see it every time. i couldn't even get it to HQ. never have i been accused of lying and denied the opportunity to provide my documents to prove that i'm not lying.

on top of that: a man who has apparently worked for his company for 10 years gets transferred to my store and not only does little to no work, he says the plan-o-grams are completely optional, resulting in chaos across the store. lowes management and myself confronted the manager about this member's behavior. the manager told me nobody has ever complained about him before, and we must be targeting him for his age.
similarly, last year there were complaints about another team member, yet management said this member was being targeted for their race. honestly? nobody is being targeted, it's called poor performance. get your head out of your social justice ass.

i no longer work for this obscenely contradictory company, and i couldn't be happier. take your time and your talent somewhere else.

Ive been with plant essentials sinse i was 16 im 19 now and i have to say every season was amaising best job ive had put everything i had into it and everyday i enjoyed it my mom was my fieald cordnator and she loved her job so much being around the plants id have to say i have never seen my mom so happy doing something helping people im sorry to hear you guys go loved the job alot thanks so much

Cant pay employees what they owe and never pit in raises. Made me wait 4 weeks for retro pay which still wasn't right and gave me 2 separate checks which meant I had to pay double taxes. My Bill's cant wait!!!!!

I have merchandised plants for 3 years. This was the first year I worked with Plant Essentials. What a wonderful and dedicated group of people! They make work fun!

Plant Essentials president Michael call me personally to apologize and yes had my pay by 4:30. Things will happen...its how you respond is what matters. Thank you.

I loved working for plant essentials. I'm just sorry to see them go. But it was indeed the best job ever
