Nasha Mukti Kendra, PGI chandigarh is one of the best Drugs De-addiction and treatment centre in India. This centre is a HOPE for the patients as well as to their families. Services are best and moreover, the necessary medicines are provided free of cost to the patients. The doctors and the supporting staff are so caring. Hats off to govt. for running such institutions. And hats off to the Administrative staff, teams of specialists, Senior & Junior residents, Nursing Staff, Laboratory staff & Security.

This is one of the good destination in North India for patients as well as PG researchers...

Every time got best solution from the best doctor's...

Unfortunately had to visit paediatric emergency in PGI. It was the worst experience of my life, I will remember it till end. The doctors are rude (at least the one I Interacted with). They treat children as commodities, not as human beings. Half of the credit goes to central government who do not provide PGI enough manpower and equipments. I felt sorry as tax payer, no place for a middle class tax payer in the hospital. I was indirectly advised to go to a private hospital. Feel sorry for myself for going to them for help.

I literally want to curse PGI , Pathetic services , right from the first day doctors knew that my father has cancer still it took one month to collect all documents. Behavior of doctors is third class , I did not want to give even a single star. My be in case of emergency its good , otherwise if you do not have any work and you can see your family member in pain for months only then go there. I can writer endless but I really want to curse the management for running to Pathetically.......

dangerkhana, mismanagement , poor management, much patient but doctors not good treatment with patient , it is a complete business center , doctor write medicine which available in PGI only all system of commission with medical store.
If nobody interest in my review please go to pgi and see with eyes. more long lines of patient , very poor system ist make a card minimum 2hrs in line & after that if any test recommended by doctor then take 3 to 4 hrs in line for test without eat something. a patient demotivate with poor system.

Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research is the premier institutions in the country. It is a hospital cum medical college on the lines of All India Institute of Medical Sciences. It is an institute of national importance under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Government of India and is located in Sector 12 of Chandigarh opposite Punjab University. The doctors in PGIMER are excellent the best in the country but the hospital is too over crowded and therefore does not prove its worth.

Good hospital but time taking. Not good for urgent treatment or diagnosis

Didn't took care of Emergency Patient and we were asked to make card and pay fee before diagnosis while the patient passed away in 2hours

I really want to mention this guy in emergency/triage section, who examines the incomings.

I don t know whats wrong with him, or if he is too much influenced with kabir singh,
He literally swallowed me.... lol, but jokes apart, dude you re asking medical history to the guardian as if he himself got a undergraduate degree in medicine,
Doctor, you re the one who needs to conclude what s wrong with the patient. Also i guess his senses don t interprete what we people say. At the end all that matters is decency, having some will really make it worth.

Secondly, I don t know why there is a vast division bw departments.
If a guy is unwell, its obvious that different systems contribute to the unhealthy condition of the patient, whether it be orthopaedic or hepatic. Guiding him/her is what needs to be done, rather than toppling em from one deptt to other. Coordination = 0.

But still, do well.

Doctor are annoyed with work load. Lost their mind while talking with Patients. I think they need rest and new recruitment.

Worst hospital in my life,I will not recommend to anyone ,to go in this hospital,If you want to save patient's life then pls don't go this hospital,If patient is in critical position. If you have connections with doctors or staff then you may go.
In every visit of the any department ,you will see new doctor and new treatment ,this will make the patient condition worst.
Actually ,In India , private doctor's per visit fee is 1000(approx), so poor people cannot afford this ,they have no option for treatment. and they have a only one option which is death.

I want to ask one question from every doctor ,how much they earn per day from fees,medicine,lab reports etc?
Is it not sufficient for their survival in this world? What will you do with this money?
Every doctor should treat some percentage of poor people at free of cost.

They are just good for nothing people. since 3-4 months i have been #PGI for my mother Weekly check-up. My mother is suffering from TB. PGI's doctors always said due to TB she's facing stomach pain, week digestion. They didn't give any hint about Kidney infection issue. After 5 month 20 days TB reports are negative of my mother and at the end stage of my mother PGI's doctors said TB spread in her full body now they can't do anything its up-to god now. My mother was admitted in PGI on 24.3.2019 and she died on 28.03.2019. They people don't show or do anything to save her life. They don't understand ever what i lost and next day i get my mother's test reports her kidney was fully infected but PGI's #Doctor's said due to TB she's on this stage instead of telling that she was facing kidney issues from 2-3 months... shame on you careless peoples .
. on 24.03.2019 i took my mom in PGI, she was continuously saying that she can't breathe and again n again they people said BP is normal. they didn't give her any cure only glucose bottle they gve her again n again. For this message is for all who won't lose their closed ones don't refer anyone for #PGI.

The biggest largest and most modern hospital of north india... The cases which are not treated anywhere due to lack of facilities in neighbouring states ie Himachal, Jammu and kashmir, Punjab and haryana are the patients who are referred to this prestigious hospital. Government aided hospital has every super specialty facility available. Department are divided into blocks and buildings. Mostly the doctors are Post graduates (PCMS).
*Most importantly PGI is ranked second after delhi AIIMS as the best hospital of India.*

gynaecology department is the worst department in pgi ... Doctors are so selfish in this department..they seriously f*** dont care about the patient but other departments are far better than gynaecology..

See news for recent incident. Who gave permission to do medical practice for those students who are not skilled. It's is better to avoid such hospital and do not send your child to make career from here.
See the recent news where a person declared as dead where gurjet Singh alived. Someone need to take action on such medical professionals.
