paediatrics are awesome ...they are the best on this planet ..some of them are rude but.....their rudeness cannot be compared with your family members...at least they save them..respect them alll..thats it

It is a really good hospital and being good comes with a liability of being overcrowded and a little chaotic. But its one of the best places to get medical opinion/diagnosis/treatment. Obviously there is always a scope to improve.

It is the best Medical Institution in this area. Govt. Operated body, so they do not loot patients.

This is a good hospital for patient no fees charged by doctors, only spend for medicine. Some rush is there but it is quite a good place for all patients doctors are well qualified and polite emergency ward is available here.there is also a canteen available for tea,juice,meals etc.it is a higher medical institute for students. overall its very good for treatment

Best place for post graduate and super speciality training in India

My baby was premature he was admitted at sohana at guru harkrishan charitable hospital after getting discharge from the hospital he was sick his blood was less again we consulted with private doctor at liberty hospital he suggested us go to pgi ,we came to pgi after coming here my baby is growing well

Worst place to be in... advance eye Care centre...very rude junior doctors....can clear a query... don't know why my file was placed at the bottom when I submitted it earlier than others...

CLEAN AND THE BEST HOSPITAL, only problem is heavy rush, leading to more time consuming visits. But the treatment is best and they actually know when it is urgent to treat. Only thing is people reach there after getting experimented from others or when its too late.

Best doctors in the city at the most affordable price for treatment . The doctors are soft spoken (mostly) but the best thing is all the doctors are postgraduates or postgraduate students , so they have a high level of knowledge about things. PGIMER has almost every medical department that you would need if you are unhealthy . The only drawback there is that it is too much crowded and being a government hospital the OPD closes at 5 p.m. still one of the best hospitals of the city

It is the most.......cursed place in Chandigarh...most happening place in Chandigarh and near people. Ppl shud avoid ths as much as they could but only go when it is in emergency condition becoz real suffering ppl get ignored at the same time nd the less suffering gets advantage of medical facilities. Only go when in emergency....rest....close your hands.

This is with disappointment I am writing that in pgimer chandigarh ,in psychiatry department new opd block in room number 207 on 22 February 2017 ,the Dr is a psychiatrist but he does not know how to deal with patients ,I went their I was explaining him my problems ,the Dr stops in between and talks arrogantly and with out any manner he will reply ,this is poor as before that there are other doctors who deal perfectly with patients but this Dr is not good he does not know how to deal with his patient ,he is so rude as a patient their should be strict action taken against him. I don't know the name but I have his signature on my card .
Please take strict action against him.
207 room number ,pgi chandigarh psychiatry ward .
If someone is in govt post it does not mean he will say wrong and rubbish things to his patients.

This government hospitals is worst for patients no facilities avaliable including no wheel chairs are there in good condition all doctors and staff are rudely behaviour don't ever think of coming here go to another hospital's who are good to patients and care for cancer patients

Medical facility excellent but gathering frequency high

I came here for my brother He have problem in his mouth but already 1 week i havent met any doctor because of alot of people i come here by 7 o clock in thr morning but that time already alot of people in a queue now my brother facing alot of problem because of this he cant eat anything cant talk dont know what to do

The same type of institute in the entire region where all types of diseases are treated, all are conducted by qualified doctors and fine staff.

Good doctors but the worst patient handling system i have ever seen, like first you walk in and get yourself registered and they give you a number and then you proceeds towards the doctor, when you reach at the doctors office you will see people yelling out names and the number which was assigned to you is not valid anymore. And you can see some patients getting special treatment because they know someone in the hospital or they are just rich people.

This is hospital ranks number 2 for best hospitals and number 1 in partiality towards its patients.

Good services provided by a government organisation. Doctors can be rude and impolite as normally in any government institutions but treatment is far better, even than some private hospitals.

EXCELLENT INSTITUTE - it has to be, because it is one of the premier medical colleges of India. And India has very good infrastructure as well as faculty in its premier institutions. I was a by-stander in the ICU [pulmonology] for a week. It was a harassing experience. No empathy. No gentleness. Rude always. It is not just the knowledge and efficiency that helps a patient to recover. But the gentle care and understanding of the doctors and nurses. PLEASE TRY TO IMPROVE. Inculcate some gentleness in the care of your patients.

i feel it's one the best hospital in india. i visited with my father is was suffering from kidney problem doctors advised us.doctors are very good in nature they are cooperative. and fees is very less.and the cost of any checkup is very low. it is government hospital which is located at Chandigarh..if any one wants to plant kidney then you must visit there basically this hospital is specially known for Nephrology.
