PGI just not and goverment hospital it is research institute. You can find world class machine/equipment and all other major medical facility under one roof. Very Bad OPDs, specifically Internal medicine, support staffs don't behave well, manipulation in time slots of patients, doctors don't pay any attention, they just sit for sake of their government job, if anyone has serious health issue must keep plan b in case things don't work out here. It's Big hospital in nearby three states Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh . It's educational institute also and research centre. Treatment for mostly diseases.Big in area , hostel also there.

Please visit PGI chandigarh only if you don't have medical emergency . Doctors in emergency ward are freshers , young boys and girls , in their 20s , they will only consider emergency when patient is few minutes away to die , they will experiment on the patient . Too much crowded , each doctor sees 20 patient at a time .no beds are available . Doctors won't talk and will not tell exact problem . PGI is for poor people of india who can't afford ICU charges of private hospital . Please visit PGI only if your patient have time . There is chances patient will not come alive if he/she is critical.

Patient's care is not much important for them, treatment is good there, but doctors and nurses are very rude, even nurses are not doing there work properly

One bad thing is sleeping problem for patient attended. Many staff behave roudly. One attdented allowed with patient. Blood sample roz liya jata hai.

Doctors come to the patient once in 4 to 5 hours and after seeing the reporter goes without talking, and the patient does not care about what the condition of the patient is from the morning to noon only if it is to hurt I have had a very bad experience in the hospital. I have been suffering from the last two days only. There is nothing to tell. You can only wander. There is no one to tell. Talk to the doctor. Does not have the manners and gate guards any employee not support any kind!

First of all greet you with folded hand to all pgi doctors and staff, very good telecnsltation I had registered on the telecnsltation service at 10:00 on Saturday and I got a call from the doctor only after 1 hour, Dr. Anish ji from psychiatry deptt. treated me like a family member and very well asked about my condition, and advice me about medicines.always salute to pgi staff.

After confirming the gbm nobody take care about patient. No medication given no suggestion given by Dr. Emergency Dr behaviour is very burst. Only facility is cheap treatment for everyone. After confirmed disease nobody talk you about for treatment everybody said patient cn not survive for long time. No body take care for pain which is continues in head. Even They don't given any medication.

Although, this hospital have all medical facilities, service is quite poor. due to massive croud in hospital daily, OPD service is very bad. people have wait long for doctor appointments. every department have onky few doctors in opd as the patient are more.
