Delicious breakfasts! All the parts of it are very tasty. The staff is kind and helpful. The only drawback - you have to wait for it about 15-20 minutes. So, I recommend booking tickets for the Snowdon Railway first and then going for the breakfast :). It s worth waiting for!

Strugling with COVID changes to table service, takes a long time to get a menu, and order, and for the right food to eventually arrive. They're trying, but failing a bit.

It has not changed too much over the years, except the prices are higher than 20 years ago. However, the quantity and quality are still there.

Heard so much about this place we had to try it after a long walk around Tryfan, exactly what we expected. All day breakfasts, jacket spuds, various daily specials, vast menu...be warned, if you order anything that indicates it's large you either need a huge appetite or a few friends to help you eat. Nice atmosphere, wacky decor with some great pics of walkers, climbers and nearby scenery. Also has toilets, shower and it's own library!

Great place to enjoy a hot meal after a long day of hiking in Snowdonia. The place to go for comfort food after hiking, cycling or running in the mountains. The vegetarian options are ample, and when we went they had several vegetarian specials too. They serve 'snowdon craft lager' which hits the spot after a day of activity. Pete's is a popular spot for families and travellers and boasts friendly staff.
Good down to earth food and big mugs of tea. Perfect.

Cheap and cheerful, at the end of the day it's a greasy spoon if you don't mind waiting a bit they serve decent food and they have a really nice breakfast which is available all day.

Went up Snowdon to watch the sunrise and had a large breakfast as soon as Pete's opened at 0800. Properly fed with a good mug of tea!!! Just right de !!

Avoid!! Had to wait for 1 hour 10 minutes for the standard breakfast. Don't understand what the hype is all about, an ordinary greasy spoon with mediocre food and disinterested staff...
2013 was the first time I visited Snowdonia, and tried Pete's eat, since that when ever I visit Snowdonia (7 times) I always choose Pete's eat, staff is awesome, friendly and helpful, they always have a smile and always happy to help, prices are reasonable and food is awesome I was never disappointed the 7 times I been. So always recommend it if you are going to Snowdonia, there is parking available so. Looking forward to dine in on the next visit. Recommended to anyone.

Fairly average greasy breakfast, made only above average by the fact I'd been camping out on a mountain for a few days.
Any other circumstances I'd say it's an overpriced and fairly average breakfast, but they play the hiking clientele pretty well.
Did find hairs (of multiple types, one appeared to be head, another pubic) in at least 2 of our orders (from a group of 9). So if a 22% chance of finding hair in your food is fine with you then by all means go for it.
Good honest grub. Excellent portions & their own lager is lush. Ideal after a long slog up to Snowdon summit. All you need to know is go there & fill up!!

Like a posh greasy spoon... always visit here when in snowdonia as you re guaranteed a hearty meal and a giant mug of tea. Simple good food.
Been coming here for years and years. Never had a bad visit really until today. Service was slow and unfriendly, and they weren't that busy really. New ownership? Dunno. Two stars because when the food did come (1 hour!) it was good and cheap. Will update on next visit if things change.
A proper full english, nothing fancy just really good 'home' cooking and they don't use cheap stuff, the bacon is real bacon not salt injected rubbish, also the pint of tea is a proper tasty tea, not motorway service station tea.

Pete's Eat's is class! Cheap quality food, just what you need before and after a day on the hill. Accommodation is clean and has a good kitchen! If you haven't been you should have!
I have recommended Pete's eats to several friends. But I cant understand how they sometimes get it so wrong. Yesterdays visit we waited 20mins to place our order. The lady was rude and abrupt. No option to have our eggs how we like them. The food was almost an hour coming out and then the order was wrong. All the food is nice except for the bacon. It's far to fatty. Almost no meat whatsoever
Good spot for a hearty, no-frills breakfast. Biggest selling point is the excellent library and map room upstairs - go check it out if you need to check an Ordnance Survey map of the local area (or indeed anywhere!).
Great food and drink and great value as always. Just a shame they don't allow dogs inside and you have to sit outside on the fairly narrow pavement.

Queued for half an hour to order food, and when it came, one meal was wrong. I have never ever had crispy mushrooms before.... Yuk. Over cooked, and cold. Needless to say we will not be going there again.

Going against the grane of other feedback on here, Best chips in the world really!, I was thinking the opposite to be honest, they were an assortment of tiny bits that were inedible, that probably made about a third of both our portions, the rest were very average, not particularly hot either, great place but my last few visits have left me feeling not as good as it used to be food wise, but great facilities
I am a regular go the area and have frequently visited Pete's eats. Never again. Today my son is running the Snowdon marathon and wanted to eat here. He found out dogs are not welcome, he has a Bichon frize. This is an outdoor area where people take dogs. So what the hell is this about. Come on, grade dogs so that large and dangerous breeds are not allowed. This is the rules abroad. We live in Wales and will never holiday here for these reasons

Been coming here since I was 13, im now 42, the food is lovely and of a grand scale, large portions, I always have the fish fingers, chips and beans, grated cheese over the top, they have a good selection for veggie and vegan dishes alike. The 'posh hot chocs' are hugeeeeee, well recommended l, along with anything in their 1pt mugs, which you can buy as a souvenir.
My son went here a few weeks ago and said it was very good. Then on a walk up eilio a fellow walker recommended it so after a long walk went straight to Pete Eats. Very good service good food well priced and very clean. Will definitely be going back
We ate at Pete's several times in September 2017 whilst visiting for a few days. Basic decor. Sensible prices, great service. Can be very busy. Speedy service assured. We'll be back on our next visit in May.

Lovely staff, great food - you can park across the road behind the cafe for a quid or two depending on how long you want to stay. Near the big Sword by the Ice Age Lake.
