Woefully slow service. Took 65 minutes to get a cup of tea and had to ask 4 times. Food was good when it finally arrived, although it was lunchtime by the time it did. Lost my morning weather window to walk because I was waiting for my order to arrive - what's more annoying is having to pay for it beforehand, so I was stuck waiting - hungry and thirsty until the staff got their act together. What's worse is the place was basically empty. Shan't be visiting again.

Brilliant place, I've been coming to Pete's eats for about 25yrs. I loved it when I was taken here by my dad after a long walk or a climb. I loved the giant chip butty. I've been going a lot again recently and it's as gd as ever. The facilities are varied, they have an excellent maps room and hostel accommodation. Brilliant if your wanting to explore the area, the town boasts the Snowdon mountain railway station and national slate museum among other attractions.

The monster omelet and chips was incredible. So was the date square. I went back for breakfast and was not as keen on the muesli, but that was probably due to a poor personal choice more than the service or quality of food. Go to this place, maybe more than once. It's that good and enjoyable.

Fantastic cafe, not my first visit but if you are need of some serious nourishment or just need that vat of tea on a cold day then this is the place for you. The place does what it says, it's a cafe. Ideal for the walking/hiking/climbing community. I will be returning!

Fantastic place with really great food. Value for money. Such a warm place with lovely staff. Great for walkers to feed themselves before or after a good walk or climb. Easy to find with a carpark near the lake. Lots of photos around the place to look at. Give it a try. Breakfasts are fab.

The food isn t great but it is cheap. Head to peak restaurant or Mafin a few doors down for something which isn t just designed to fill guts. The cafe has a good walkers vibe akin to a youth hostel. However the springs in the mattresses are criminal so I don t recommend staying here.

Iconic climbers cafe in the heart of Llanberis. Big plates of food and huge mugs of steaming hot drinks, all at reasonable prices. It's gone downhill a bit in recent years with the waiting time in busy periods a bit excessive.

I stopped by here looking for coffee. As a family we decided to move on, our decision based purely on price. Now, it's fair enough for an establishment to decide its own prices and base those prices on supply, demand and clientele. A shop in tourist trap can often take advantage. This shop is not doing that (to a degree) but local people, like us, might choose to not visit. The only thing I can recommend is a discount on days when the tourists aren't there. It's a tricky one, who am I to say. Sadly I shan't ever visit but I will consider recommending it to tourists. Better than the greedy chain store coffee bars.
