Pathetic. Waited 45 mins for a drab nhs bacon butty. Never again. Nor friends or family.
Food great and cheap. Nice place to go after a cold walk round padan lake
Pint of hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows perfect after a paddle in the lake
In my opinion the only place worth going for breakfast!
Decent food cheap enough but fairly poor service, a lot of orders going back because they were wrong
Bad burned chips burned sausages Sent it back to kitchen Came back to me worse I left it Wife breakfast awfull Bacon full of fat
Good food very reasonably priced welcoming staff well worth a visit
Went here on recommendation. Ended up leaving and eating at subway
Very nice cafe, was recommended by a friend and the food tastes lovely and portions were great. The chips are epic!
Very happy with the gigantic sized English breakfast before our first hike to Snowdon summit. Good hospitality too.
Delicious food which is delivered so quickly. The staff are friendly and it isn't too expensive.
Opens early for the early birds. Delightful staff and very good portion brekkie, ideal as a good start off for the outdoor pursuers.
Woefully slow service. Took 65 minutes to get a cup of tea and had to ask 4 times. Food was good when it finally arrived, although it was lunchtime by the time it did. Lost my morning weather window to walk because I was waiting for my order to arrive - what's more annoying is having to pay for it beforehand, so I was stuck waiting - hungry and thirsty until the staff got their act together. What's worse is the place was basically empty. Shan't be visiting again.
Good food, hearty portions for climbers, walkers and anyone
Wow Pete's eats is the most interesting place to go and eat, people of all walks of life are drawn to this crazy cafe that's buzzing all the time. be prepared to wait for food and share a table but also be willing to embrace and enjoy this wonderful experience with very like minded people who love the out doors maybe the camp, cycle, hike, walk, do photography, chase wildlife, bird watch, rock climb, like trains, history interests, waterfall enthusiasts and much more! Food is fresh not fast but its OK when you have great people to talk to :) Eat in take out, indoor and outdoor seating Reading area free WiFi rooms available for rent Loads of food options from meat eater to vegan everyone seems covered also child friendly another venue I'll visit again. thanks all
I don't know about other food.. But never eat fish and chips here.. But the restaurant was nice and clean
Favourite place after a day climbing around Llanberis
A right of passage. Great food and pint mugs of tea. And a library. And cake. What is not to like?
Great place to fill up after a walk in the mountains!
The place is okay but has a good elaborate menu. Tried the traditional fish and chips which was well cooked and served. Couldn't complain especially after a walk up and down Snowdonia!
Good price, very popular and the food is delicious! Must try the large hot chocolate with marshmallows.
Nice cafe, great food and drinks. Quick service too.
Awesome everytime. Highly recommend going here if you're planning on taking a trip up snowdon. Good food, great friendly staff and never disappointed.
Huge portions, good food, friendly relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended
Fantastic place. Food was lovely and the price is fantastic. Would recommend a visit
Great for filling up your belly after a long hike. Hug mug of tea too at a great price.
Great big plate of tasty food! Friendly. Quite a long wait (half an hour) but ok as got drinks straight away. Nice and cosy, would go back!
Good food, good service, reasonable prices, enormous mugs of tea
Friendlt, good value and welcoming cafe and bunkhouse in Llanberis. Would recommend. It has a room with an enormous impressive collection of travel books and maps.
Lovely place to munch. Great food and reasonably priced.
Brilliant place, I've been coming to Pete's eats for about 25yrs. I loved it when I was taken here by my dad after a long walk or a climb. I loved the giant chip butty. I've been going a lot again recently and it's as gd as ever. The facilities are varied, they have an excellent maps room and hostel accommodation. Brilliant if your wanting to explore the area, the town boasts the Snowdon mountain railway station and national slate museum among other attractions.
A most enjoyable meal. The mixed grill is good value for money and is absolutely delicious.
Not bad for a breaky could open earlier 8 to late need to get walking
Had a very nice bacon sandwich and coffee, after climbing Snowdon.
Good food. Great resource center for walkers and climbers. Reasonable prices. Has a shower for visiting customers.
Hub of the Welsh climbing scene. Suitable for sitting out the rain or fuelling with a good fry up prior to the day
A little slow seating us as we were waiting outside and no one checked outside and we didn't know we needed to wait in side. But once in food was good, well needed after a hike up snowdon
The monster omelet and chips was incredible. So was the date square. I went back for breakfast and was not as keen on the muesli, but that was probably due to a poor personal choice more than the service or quality of food. Go to this place, maybe more than once. It's that good and enjoyable.
Such a great atmosphere..can see why it's so popular. Friendly and easy going. Food was mediocre but the prices were great so can't complain.
Interesting place in lovely surroundings . Was once a secret gem, now its very popular and lost the 'thing' it once had. Also not as cheap as it was. The map room upstairs if worth a look.
Fantastic cafe, not my first visit but if you are need of some serious nourishment or just need that vat of tea on a cold day then this is the place for you. The place does what it says, it's a cafe. Ideal for the walking/hiking/climbing community. I will be returning!
Great food and great amounts for a great atmosphere and history all for a great price
Great little find to eat at after a walk up snowdon, very friendly & large portions
Fantastic place with really great food. Value for money. Such a warm place with lovely staff. Great for walkers to feed themselves before or after a good walk or climb. Easy to find with a carpark near the lake. Lots of photos around the place to look at. Give it a try. Breakfasts are fab.
Nice homely place food very good service is very quick also
A heard a lot of rave reviews from fellow walkers/climbers. I have to say that I couldn't share the same level of enthusiasm. Big place which is popular with walkers. Portion sizes were good. Food was ok and priced fairly.
I did really enjoyed my breakfast and girls were nice and polite. Place is nice and quirky and popular with hikers / mountain explorers
Really nice breakfast, good atmosphere for students/travellers.
Huge and delicious portions for an amazing price. Left feeling full and satisfied.
A good evening meal which Pete's Eats for which they are renowned all meals eaten with gusto and well appreciated Thanks Stan
The food isn t great but it is cheap. Head to peak restaurant or Mafin a few doors down for something which isn t just designed to fill guts. The cafe has a good walkers vibe akin to a youth hostel. However the springs in the mattresses are criminal so I don t recommend staying here.
Iconic climbers cafe in the heart of Llanberis. Big plates of food and huge mugs of steaming hot drinks, all at reasonable prices. It's gone downhill a bit in recent years with the waiting time in busy periods a bit excessive.
Returned after great memories from my childhood, lived up to those memories. Great coffee and super sized quality servings. Perfect before taking on the hills or a reward after a days adventuring.
A staple of Llanberis life, especially for tired mountain ramblers! Huge portions of good food for low prices!
Fab food and portions. Best cafe have ever eaten in
Perfect after a days walking and accommodation is spot on.
I stopped by here looking for coffee. As a family we decided to move on, our decision based purely on price. Now, it's fair enough for an establishment to decide its own prices and base those prices on supply, demand and clientele. A shop in tourist trap can often take advantage. This shop is not doing that (to a degree) but local people, like us, might choose to not visit. The only thing I can recommend is a discount on days when the tourists aren't there. It's a tricky one, who am I to say. Sadly I shan't ever visit but I will consider recommending it to tourists. Better than the greedy chain store coffee bars.
The best place for pre and post mountain days or for waiting out the rain.
Lovely place to eat food was fab staff where pleasant it's a cafe in lanberis in Wales in the high street
