Had to wait 45 mins for a sandwich. No explanation when ordering. When asked about the wait was told "We are very busy" No apology just a grunt. I wouldn't have ordered if I had been told there was such a wait. I had my 87yr old Mum with me. Won't be going there again!

The coffee was nice, but after ordering food we waited 30 minutes for 2 large breakfasts. The sausages were very dry, the egg completely overdone and the bacon undercooked. I got a side of mushrooms and these too were dry & overcooked.
I was told these guys do a great breakfast, so i was disappointed. Good service from the young man behind the counter, however the waitress delivering the plates to the table was dropping beans on the floor and was alot less polite.

Legendary cafe that's been the place to head before and after a day in mountains. Somewhere to get out of the rain for steaming hot mugs of tea and good home cooked food. Not sure if they still give you a free "Big Jim" if you managed to eat the one you paid for, not that many managed it.
There's a big menu to suit all from vegan, flextarians, to carnivores.

Standard cafe. Could be a lot better with the food. food disappointing. Soup was bland, no flavour. No butter on bread. The little things that make a huge difference, they are missing. Sad times.

A climbers/hikers cafe in the heart of Llanberis. Popular after long days at the crag, or after walking. Also popular on rainy day! The portions are large, and the pint mugs of tea are legendary! Also, there is free wifi

Absolutely top notch selection of good food at a reasonable price. Gets very busy sometimes but you can be assured that the wait is always worth it. Great atmosphere and clean and tidy seating, to me this is everything a high street diner should be, and one with some interesting history.

Very busy when we visited but service was still fast. BUT..... the order was wrong and part of it was cold. The standard of food & service was no better than any other standard chippy but at a higher price. Not impressed with the sticky tables and dirty cutlery but the free WiFi was OK.

I've been frequenting Pete's Eats for over 30 years and it's still my all time favourite cafe and a constant recommendation to anyone visiting the area. The food is fresh, well prepared and good value. The staff are hard working and polite, there's a great buzz and a real feeling of community. As a student, I'd wander into Pete's after a day windsurfing on the lake, still in my wetsuit, leaving a puddle behind me and never a murmur from the team working there. It's the same now and following a day of inclement weather, the place develops a comforting fog, as customers who've been enjoying Snowdonia, trek to Pete's for a well earned treat. The place is an institution, if you're in the area, you have to visit, if you don't, you'll have missed something a little bit special!

Went to Pete's eats at lunchtime, n8r bust but still had to wait nearly 45 minutes for 3 cheeseburgers and chips, and 1 kids meal , of which we had to remind them that we hadnt had it, if I hadnt been so hungry I would of complained about the meal, the burger was disgusting, overcooked and dry and half the size of the enormous bun it was in, wont be going there again in a hurry

I was standing outside Pete s looking at the menu when a passing local assured me they had the best home made chips in the world. I haven t eaten all the home made chips in the world, but these were bloody good. Good selection of basic foods, good prices, big serves and excellent service. There s also a book exchange and a library upstairs. One thing though - don t eat here if you re in a hurry.

Simple, tasty and super cheap mostly pub simple meals. Quick and helpful service. Lovely and colourful atmosphere, just 10 minutes walk from the station. Perfect to fill you up after a long walk and you can also get a drink!

Visiting Pete's Eats was kind of a tradition while visiting Snowdonia, but we hadn't been here for many years and we were really disappointed when we had to wait nearly one hour for our cheese on toasts. I hope it was just a day glitch.

Really enjoyed my meal, a plateful of Chips and a mixed grill just what was needed after Kayaking on Llyn Padarn all afternoon. Healthy options are available, and are tasty too. Do remember to note your order number on the receipt, it will help you claim your meal especially when it gets busy.
