Amazing Place for a good sunset. It's a busy place where you can get something to eat and a hot beverage. The staff are all quite nice and want to get ahead by asking your order before you pay. The food looks good and was quite nice. It's a really good stop when in Richmond park. Price wasn't so great but not much more than any other fancy cafe. Overall a great experience for me. Felt like you weren't in London.

Lovely place inside Richmond Park. The occasion was a wonderful wedding party. The location is great, staff are nice and welcoming. Very good location in the summer with indoor and outdoors!
Pembroke Lodge is a wonderful grade-II listed, mid-18th century mansion based on the high-ground of Richmond Park with distant views of the Thames valley to Windsor and Surrey.
It's hard to rate this place because i love Richmond Park so much and I love the views. But the food at Pembroke Lodge is seriously overpriced for what it is. But I guess its worth it!
Great place to have a scone and tea. Very generous serving of clotted cream and jam. It is on top of a hill so you can see good views of London. The grounds are very well kept with plenty of flowers. It is also a wedding venue
I like Pembroke Lodge it has really nice gardens and it is surrounded by Richmond Park. We were still able to get a cup of tea in recyclable cups and they had a few cakes too. We've always gone to the Pembroke ever since I was small it's such a nice place to go.
Amazing venue for my wedding, rated it 5 stars but had to fault the air con... no air con for the summer months so sit down meal was uncomfortable for me and guest. The heat was so hot the venue could only provid fans which were strong but not enough to go around the room...please invest in air con as that played a big part of my wedding... the staff there are 10 out of 10. Very professional great service, Nelson was amazing!!! Thank you for making my day run smoothly ...any one holding a wedding there per book cabs to come at 12pm as was a nightmare to get cabs in and some people were stuck! Food was yummy! But couldn t eat mine as hot food was not helping me in my dress sitting in the indoor heat! .... If I could do it again I would definitely do it there again...if I could change any thing I d hire aircon!
From a humble cottage of one room, occupied by a molecatcher, prior to 1754 to this beautiful Georgian structure we see today, Pembroke Lodge is one of the most beautiful features of Richmond Park along with its wildlife.
Today it's one of the leading wedding venues of London. A visit to Richmond Park is incomplete without a visit to the Pembroke Lodge.
One of the best London wedding venues. Great location, amazing views, good food and coffee and helpful staff. I shot a wedding there recently and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue surrounded by beautiful greenery, yet close to central London. Full set of images from the wedding can be viewed on our website.
You can't get more quintessentially English than Pembroke Lodge. Nestled within Richmond Park it is a throwback to the times before the chain coffee shops proliferated across the UK market. You can enjoy coffee, cake or something hot and also appreciate the stunning views over Richmond Hill.
You will have amazing walking near from capital London city center. You feel like a walking in country sides. And beautiful afternoon Tae in reasonable price. Why not take a walk in the English countryside at Pembroke Welge in Richmond Park and have a nice afternoon tea? It's a very wall-friendly and delicious experience.
Brides beware. We booked Pembroke Lodge for a wedding reception earlier this year and it couldn't go ahead because of the covid-19 restrictions. Pembroke Lodge have refused to refund us. The financial pain is awful enough but we're almost more upset by how we were treated: Pembroke Lodge gave us a deadline to decide whether to go ahead with our wedding even though they could not tell us at that time whether it would be possible or how many guests would be allowed. Then the deadline turned out to be false, and we had uncertainty for weeks - 8 days before the wedding PL still hadn't confirmed whether we could go ahead with our wedding and in what form. We found their conduct and tone extremely unpleasant, and what should have been an enjoyable wedding planning process was completely spoilt. The pandemic has really revealed the nature of all our suppliers, and many were wonderful, but I can't imagine a worse experience than we had with Pembroke Lodge. With covid restrictions here to stay for a while, and changing all the time, I'd encourage anyone to avoid and save yourself the same nightmare.
HORRIBLE We have reached lew 17.15h They say they close at 6pm but the service ends at 17.30. They are not yet 17.30 and we are moving all the tables and chairs while we finished sitting. Very expensive to treat as a slag. NEVER MORE OF LIFE !!!
Excellent stop for meals or even an afternoon snack. Great views into the river below. Nice manicured gardens. Check out the view to St Paul's Cathedral from King Henry's Mound using their telescope
Free parking. Beautiful historic building and gardens set on the slopes of Richmond Park. One of the best meals there is their Sunday Roast. It tasted delicious and generous portions, not to mention all hand made on the premises. I tend to visit in the afternoon, so English Tea and Scone, accompanied by Clotted Cream and Jam, all hand made. It's so unusual to find these so fresh I decided to (be a piggy, since it's one of my favourite English foods) have a bit more than a portion (see the photo). Call it quality control. The Lodge offers 2 indoors rooms with tables, or sit on the outside Patio with views of the South Downs and Heathrow Airport. A revamped clean toilet. A newly addition is another area to the left of the building, tables and chairs under the trees. Nice touch of class. Free car park opposite, toilets and wheel chair friendly.
Half of their business is a Wedding Venue. Caught one today, brides running around, very charming. Please note the car park can get busy on Saturdays and Wedding days, otherwise easy to park. Also note they follow Richmond Park's closing times e.g. Dusk to Down (winter around 4:30pm or earlier)
The nature reserve is spectacular in its beauty. Bambi herds are moving inside and thousands of squirrels and in the middle is a beautiful white building with a cafe and a place for afternoon tea with the best of the Kingdom's pastries in cozy, cozy rooms. A rare experience.
We got married on Friday 27th September at Pembroke Lodge and the same day I was also 50. Not only was it a very spectacular day in gorgeous surroundings everything was organised perfectly. Every detail was absolutely spot on! The chefs do the most amazing food and part of the package was tasting sessions including tasting the various wines and Prosecco. On the actual day of the wedding it started raining which luckily stopped when the Bride arrived. I couldn t believe it when all the waiting staff hurried outside with umbrellas to shelter the arriving guests! The coordinator on the day was Sonia and all I can say is that she is amazing. Words aren t enough to sing her praises! She literally made sure that our special day went without a hitch (excuse the pun because obviously I got hitched!) If you want to get married at the beautiful Pembroke lodge then I guarantee you that Sonia will make your day unbelievable. Thank you Sonia, thank you to all the waiting staff and chefs and anyone else who worked on our wedding in the background. The day was Amazing
Pembroke Lodge, a wonderful location for refreshments with an excellent lunch menu. Well worth the visit for the spectacular views. Also, an excellent wedding venue!
Beautiful place for a wedding with a fantastic view of the countryside, and just the right amount of space to make sure the wedding feels intimate and special. Good was really good too.
Lovely cooked food & cakes, and good gluten free selection. Beautiful location and wonderful views from indoors - too windy to enjoy the outside tables that day.
Plants and flowers at Pembroke enhance how amazing is nature and how humans can easily be part of a wonderful ecosystem... we could make a new beginning
A good place to spend the teatime at low prices (for English standards) with a good view. Highly recommended are the scones. But even those who like hearty things will find it. The fact that Richmond is located just outside of London, you can meet people from the area, who spend their Sunday afternoon here. Tourist a real insider tip.
A park in Richmond, with deer playing around, a beautiful restaurant in the middle. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery around you in the courtyard outside the restaurant. Be careful when carrying out food! Attacked by crows. About 10 herds attack indiscriminately in the air. so Only holding a drink.
Fantastic place.. like being in a hotel with reasonably priced snacks.. the view to the rear is amazing.. Scones wuthbclottrd cream highly recommended..
This is a great place to come to and walk around. We saw done deer and the gardens are well maintained. The food is good and with the view it's a lovely place to visit.
We had our wedding reception at Pembroke Lodge in October 2020.The team were so helpful in helping us to navigate the ever changing COVID-19 restrictions and created a beautiful wedding reception for us. Delicious food, an all round amazing setting for a wedding - could not recommend Pembroke Lodge more for anyone thinking of getting married in Richmond.
This is a wonderful place just for the surroundings alone. It's best when it's spring or summer. The food and drinks are not bad and the prices are the average for Richmond and the people serving are wonderful. If you have a sunny day and it's the weekend you might want to go either before 11 when they serve lunch, or after 3. Oh and the cutlery it's in the rooms!
Absolutely stunning venue! Visited for a wedding. Would love to go back one day! Was a very hot day though and would recommend some air conditioning for future summers! Staff were fab and worked around the clock to ensure it all ran smoothly! Food delish! Thanks!
A truly special place! Surrounded by the awesome beauty of Richmond Park, this is a joy to experience at any time of the year. You can sit outside and admire the views over the treetops towards Hampton Court, or you can sit in and enjoy the beautiful Georgian dining rooms. The food is reasonably priced and good quality. Always worth a visit and never fails to impress.
