The service was great, the scallops were a little overcooked, the steak was med well not medium. Everything else was delicious!
Steak looked good but lacked flavor. Also, felt unwelcome as the wait staff seem to disappear when needed. Music was good.
Excellent service, reasonable food, extremely expensive, low value
A place for a great meal, fine drink and conversation.
Went to dinner with my wife. Great service and the food
Love the place sorry to see the East Side location go
Charged $48 for a very small lobster with a side of steamed vegetables. It s not about the price, but the meal was lame as I got a crawfish, not a lobster lol
I d go elsewhere.
Terrible manager, he checks/spies on the food you are eating with your family. He charged me for an extra salad because I took a little sample from my daughter's plate. Is the manager/pelican that money hungry to do that to a customer ( 5 of us) who visits regularly. The waiter did not recieve a tip and Pelican just lost a customer
Best lobster in El Paso! And the asparagus is amazing too, great experience overall.
Excellent appetizers, soups and salads, and entrees. Decent table service but it was a busy night. Was served an unclean glass of water but the strong (no skimping on alcohol) drinks and good local beer on tap well made up for it.
The staff was good. The food was very good. And the whole ambiance makes for a great experience.
Really good food and we go for the jazz on Thursday.
Imagine this...
You're sitting there enjoying your appetizer and a drink when you look over at the wall of your booth and a 2.5" cockroach is crawling towards you. The vermin then settles on your table, you get the manager, and he says it must have come from the outside.
Know what was on the side of the wall from the booth? The KITCHEN.
Never see us there again.
We always try to stop here while visiting El Paso. One of our favorites!
A pretty good restaurant. Wait time was a bit long, and they wouldn't seat our party of 14 until we were all there, even though our table was set up and waiting for us, so we had to jam into the small waiting area until everyone arrived. Started out slow with the wait staff, but eventually picked up. Food was good, entrees averaging around $22 each. An odd combination of a trendy yet rustic seaside atmosphere, but still kinda worked.
Our server Will did an awesome job in spacing out our food in order not to have everything pile up at once! Keep up the great service Will!! Food was delicious
These guys have been around for many years... Great food, bar and service.
Food great. They bring bowls of salad (homestyle) to the table. Ambience is relaxing.
Very Good food but service could be a little better.
Amazing dinner. There's no one who makes better fried zucchini. The shrimp pelican was off the charts and my friend said his steak was the bestt he'd had this year! I miss this place from when I grew up in El Paso. I'm so glad to see that it is still here and with great food and service.
Great menu, fun ambiance, attentive waiters, delicious food!
Great food. Great service. They really need to update building and bathroom though. Really dark and creepy ombionce.
Service was top notch. Calamari was outstanding, steamed mussel delicious and prime rib... mmmmm. Cant wait to come back!
A great place to dine! Dreamy atmousphere with cool Jazz music, excellent food, excellent service. I had the Ahi Tuna and it was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend!
This is my goto place for raw oysters on the half shell. Great environment!
I love Pelicans. Great food and exceptional customer service. Mushini is to AMAZING!
Favorite place to eat at, always delicious!! Only problem now, are you staying open???
Awesome menu and great service....one of the great restaurants in el paso
Had horrible customer service at this location.
I was there last night for a friends birthday, and ordered the prime rib. I was tired from a 14 hour day at work so I couldn't finish the whole thing. Our waitress put it in take out containers and when we left, I accidentally left it behind long enough to walk out the door, realize I had left it, and immediately walk back in. I headed back to the table and they had cleared my table and the food was gone. I told the host I had been there literally a minute and thirty seconds previously and he kept insisting no one had seen my food and someone had to have thrown it away. I asked who was the bus boy, that it couldn't have gotten far in one minute, and he replied with, "Someone must have thrown it away." That's all he ever said. I'm suspicious if someone decided they wanted to take it home for themselves and just didn't want to give it back. For some reason no one wanted to simply check. It made a very long and tiring day all the more frustrating.
Hey Guys the owners son here thx for the comments and support!
Reliable service and menu, good quality meal. Love the art, especially the mosaic in the restaurant corner.
Excellent service, good wine selection, wonderful salads with hand made dressings, great appetizer selection, specialize in seafood, cozy, romantic atmosphere...all in all a very nice place to relax, unwind, and have a leisurely meal at moderate prices. There is a bar if you want drinks only
I enjoyed the endless salad although the first serving was so large I didn't have a refill. I also enjoyed the French onion soup, very nicely done.

Pelicans is one of the best restaurants on the west-side of El Paso. It is worth the drive if you aren't close by! I ordered take out and was extremely satisfied with the time it took, the quality, and the car-side accomodation! Thank you, Vanessa for the great service!
Service with a smile and great lunch choices. My family was making plans for their next visit before we even left the place!
New Year's Eve dinner. Although they were full they were able to accommodate us. Service is prompt and friendly from the hostess to the waitress to the manger stopping by to check on us. The food was delivered quickly. The timing between course was perfect. The food itself was delicious. From salad through entree to dessert and coffee. We could not ask for better. We will certainly return.
Clam clamchowder was great and waiters are nice along with the tyertiaki steak I recommend it
The artichoke appetizer is the best! :) Great service.
We call this place "Old Faithful" because it has never let us down! Good food, good service and great bar staff!!
Sirloin steak is the best I had. The food was on point! Was worth all the money I put in. They need to work on the potato tho. Add sour cream and the taste of the actual potato was kind of weird.
Staff sux - the clients are drunks and obnoxious -' its supposed to be a restaurant
This is really unbiased as I am traveling and found this place on Google, it had some mixed reviews and I thought I would check it out, Here is what I came up with. There were many people at 7:00pm however I was greeted and seated quickly, My waitress was very quick and cordial, I ordered lemon aide and a shrimp cocktail, The shrimp was not watered down and had a good firm taste, I ordered the Halibut with steamed veggies and the first bite of the Halibut had 5 bones that I had to pick out and that of course is a little embarrassing, The veggies were perfect texture and very enjoyable, over all I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here nor would I recommend it, I spent 43.00 with tip and felt it was worth about 15.00. Not terrible not great, I would suggest that the owner gets a web developer and someone local for reputation management.
Good food, best service in El Paso, parking is a bit tight.
Very good service, a little pricy but a nice treat for the family
Always excellent! The food, the atmosphere and the people that make a good time a great time!
Sat there for 30 minutes and no service! Is a Tuesday night and not busy at all!!!!!!!!! No excuse! Poor front of the house!!
Delicious food as always. Attentive staff. Only problem is that the only location is on the west side. Need another on the east side again.
Solid neighborhood food and bar. Very consistent and good service
We always enjoy eating here. Dr. Spencer is visiting El Paso and we had to bring him here for an early supper .
He was impressed with the service and delicious seafood. We will be back again.
its one of the finest seafood places here on the westside
Great atmosphere, great food, great drinks. You need to try the Oyster Rockefeller. Delicious!!
First time visit here, but has definitely made our must visit place when we are in town. Everything from the appetizer througj desert was nothing short of spectacular!
Great service and Great food!!
T
food!
Got two of our orders wrong. Ran out of scallops. Didn't have the wine listed on the wine list. Seemed totally unprepared for the evening.
Just left Pelican's this evening in complete disappointment. My family and I have made several visits to Pelican's in the past, always at the eastside location before it closed down. Tonight we decided to give the westside location a try since we had received a gift card for Christmas. Ordered prime rib, but it was undercooked. So we sent it back only to have it returned as if it had been re-heated in a microwave, judging from the puddle of juice that surrounded it. Unfortunately, our waitress did not return for about 10 minutes after that, which resulted in a loss of appetite. Truthfully, not that big of a deal....she took it off of our bill. As we were leaving I requested to speak with the manager, but the hostess had informed me that he was too busy to come out and talk to me. Really?! Apparently, they were having trouble with the credit card machine(and I understand s#!t happens), but he could not come out and acknowledge a paying customer? Very aggrevating to the point that we will never return. The sad part is, is that it was one of our favorite restaurants.
