Pelican's Steak & Seafood Review

Miss the East locale, but will trek to west side for good food and service.

I ordered some food to go and had Door Dash deliver it to me. I made my order through the DD app. I ordered the Mexican Shrimp cocktail which was very tasty. The New England clam chowder should be called Mexican Clam Chowder. It has spices in it that shouldn't be in it and be called New England. I didn't care for it too much and if it was as on the menu as Mexican Clam Chowder I wouldn't have ordered it. I also ordered a salad which was quite healthy in size but very basic.
Under delivery instructions I wrote, "may I please have extra blue cheese dressing for my salad and I also need silverware." I know, why ask for silverware, it's a resturant they will put silverware in it. You would be surprised, and I was as def surprised when there was NO silverware in with my order. Extra dressing was there but NO silverware. What resturant doesn't put silverware in with an order? Pelicans Steak and Seafood that's who. It's the little thing's that can make or break a meal. At least the hotel I was in had some silverware I could use. Thanks Pelicans for a so so meal with NO silverware. Even after I specifically asked for it.

Have been coming here for years, this is the best seafood & steak in EP! There are so many choices, although my favorite is the fish & chips. Steak is reasonably priced & always delicious, staff is very attentive & the atmosphere is cozy & very nautical themed without overdoing it!

Always love the food but this trip we told the server no mushrooms due to an allergy but when he got his food the rice was full of mushrooms. The oysters were on point

The whole problem is the price $20-$30. There are some other plates which are $10 but are the basic ones. The food is good but you can get the same quality for half the price in other seafood restaurants. The restaurant environment is also ok, but not for those prices. Very nice staff

First time eating here. I stopped by with a friend and I got some steak tips to go. Super good! Definitely need to come back and try some more menu items.

Really nice place for seafood and steak. No wait on Father's Day. Calimari, Shrimp, garlic potatoes, and Salmon were all delicious.

Perfect ahi tuna. Delicious garlic mashed potatoes, great service, well timed and a nice atmosphere. An El Paso staple and is open past 9!

The atmosphere was great but the food value on the lobster was awful. The Australian Lobster tail was about 4 inches long something you would expect from Red Lobster. The terrible part of this is it was $55 dollars . Stay away from this disappointing dish. The rest of the menu thus far has been very good. Seafood lovers be ware.

Love the calamari. Steak.. Ribeye was cooked to perfection and Delicious. I add a photo but I ate that too.!

Eating in this restaraunt is like dining in a dinner boat somewhere in the Seattle marina. The seafood is great and the clam chowder makes you feel like you're right in New England.

Beautiful atmosphere! The perfect place for a romantic dinner! Salmon with nuts is my favorite dish!
