Excellent sales experience... we only were looking for a used car with a very specific price range and Monier ("guy from Jerusalem" he said) found us only one option but it was a great option - lovely one-owner low mileage Toyota trade-in. Price was not exactly what we wanted but the sales manager got us to a reasonable we both could agree on. I really can't say I have had many good experiences *ever* at dealerships, but one like this sure would make me want to visit the next time we need a car for sure.
From start to finish, my experience at Pearson Hyundai was excellent. Lori Kidd not only picked up her phone on a Sunday when she was off, but she worked around my busy schedule to set up an appointment while my previous car was having a state inspection performed. She also set me up with an excellent sales rep, John Judy. He listened to my vehicle wants and needs, took his time explaining the different car accessories and helped me through the car buying process. I am beyond grateful I had the opportunity to work with these people and how smooth/easy they made this stressful process. I also need to mention I was trading in a Santa Fe for a newer version of the same model. I absolutely love this vehicle!

I had a wonderful experience with my salesperson, Derek. He was patient and kind and willing to do whatever it took to make me happy of course within reason. Usually the problem is not with the salesperson but the people who are in the financial office. My experience with Sheryl was wonderful and authentic in manner. She was patient and whatever I did not understand she took her time. One salesman told me when I was getting other other car quotes, "I work for you, you do not work for me." I'm so excited. The other day my husband brought home a car for me to try from Pence Hyundai off Midlothian. It was a 2018 bluish green Tucson. Ive only always had super used cars that were always ready to break down. My latest van kept getting worse and it was finally enough of the super used, old cars. We have three kids so we need something safe and reliable. The next day we went in to make the deal. I thought i was set on a Ford Escape but so glad I tried this car bc I love it. Has all that I wanted. All the safty features and a gorgeous sparkle color. Our friend Mike Spease our sales associate, made it fun and to be honest it just felt right. He had our back till the end and I now have a car that makes me feel great. Everyone there was welcoming and kind. I have no regrets. It was worth it. Thanks again Mike Spease your awesome!!!!!!!
Shady sales people who push you into options you may not want or need; promises of support and ongoing service - once you purchase and you're off the lot you become an annoyance rather than a customer. My Sonata has been in 3 times now in the year since I bought it new; no courtesy rides given (was told this at sale should there be any warranty issues), stain support purchased has not been supported. Service team is nice, despite shady counterparts, but is overtaxed/always busy - too bad the sales side is so incompetent.
I f I could provide less than a star I would have done that to show my aggravation with not only this INDEPENDENT Hyundai sales and service center but the Hyundai organization in it's entirety. They are nice guys, the CON ARTIST always is smart and friendly, like the Venus fly trap they lure you in with sweet sounding words only to snap closed at your moment of need. Service here is a joke! THE RESPONSE TO COMMENTS...REALLY! PSS.. the positive reviews are as fake as I have ever seen before. Brooke, the GM, after I called to discuss my situation 10 times amazingly I never got a call back and somehow he is never available to speak to me or my wife. At this point I have a call into channel 12 on your side and my lawyers office to start a small claims case. They have had my car for 3 months! I have gone to pick it up 10 times and each time it was still not fixed and had a new problem on top of the old new that wasn't fixed. Jason the service manager told me he couldn't figure it out.... oh but now he has it figured out... mind you after I paid to replace the transmission he decided that its the wiring harness, I said then put in the old transmission and give me my money back for that and I will pay for the wiring harness. No! the transmission was needed! I said how could you know that if the harness has been shooting you several different codes? At this point we had the check engine light on every time we picked up the car and it was saying something else was the problem now! Look it sucks that they didn't figure it out until the end but I cant afford for them to play roulette with my wallet and car while they figure it out. I would have gotten rid of the car and bought new, using the money I spent on the transmission to put down on a new car! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

I brought my sonata in to have a front end alignment, still a little off but atleast its not pulling anymore. Came back a different day to purchase blue link and Kevin took his time to make sure I got what I wanted. My check engine light has been on for two weeks on my 2017 Elantra. I called and made an appointment this past Monday for today the 26th. When I arrived, I was told that I did not make an appointment and it was not in the system. I stated that my check engine light had been on and that I could barely drive my car without fear of it breaking down. The guy at the service desk told me that they do not run diagnostics on the weekends so they could not help me. Another man drove my car out of the garage, and stated I wouldn t feel safe driving in that either. He then mentioned that the only thing they could do for me is to give me a rental car for $30 a day. I should not have had to pay for a rental car since this mistake was on them. When someone calls to make an appointment, you should ask what service they are looking to have. But instead, I was hung up on after I made my appointment and didn t get a chance to explain why I needed to come in. I asked the service desk what they advised me to do if my car broke down on the side of the road and they suggested to have it towed. This place is a joke, and does not care about the safety of their customers. I will not be returning.
Unfortunately terrible. Bought a used van there in March. It is now the end of June and they have still not fixed everything on the "We Owe" contract. It took 4 visits to get a screw cap fixed. The service manager even took a picture of the problem on the 2nd visit and still the wrong part was ordered. They scheduled me to come on a Wednesday, then when I got there they told me the person who fixes one of the issues is only there on Thursdays. REALLY?! Will never buy a car there again or take my car there for service.

Well I made an appointment for faster service but asked an employee in the service department how much would it be if I got service done to my A/C... He misunderstood my question and did the service and it was a question not a demand. This being said take your time and listen to the customer because I had a previous appointment in which I was late attending.
So happy with this place! I felt comfortable, but not pressured. After a ride on the Powhite and their extended warranty, I knew the Tuscon was right for me! I drive 25,000 miles a year for sales and like the roof rack for weekend kayaking! Highly recommend John Judy, Kyle Sharpless and Kenneth Hicks are good guys! Thank you for my "new wheels" and be back for service!

The one star, is for their well stocked inventory. After that, my experience with the internet sales persons bad communication skills and the (add ons) women trying about fifteen attempts to sell me paint sealant, and last but not least, the sales manager telling me he would have someone call me back in a few minutes (after the sale), then never did... I thought, they are in the customer service business for for Pete"s sake. Then on top of that, I went to get my first oil change free, (part of the sales pitch) the salesman with a guilty face says, "I didn't say that". Are you stinking kidding me!!! The sales manager basically says, sorry charlie. I got my back into my vehicle and left. So yeah... I will NEVER step a foot into another Pearson dealership! The only reason I went to Pearson, I was looking for a vehicle that was no longer in production and they had one. I bought a Santa Fe from West Broad Hyundai in 2014. At West Broad, they go the extra ten miles, to make you satisfied. Five stars for West Broad. BY the way, GO TO WEST BROAD

My sister and I just bought a preowned Elantra from Pearson Hyundai on Midlothian Tnpk. From a friendly and helpful young salesman, named Kyle Sharples, to his also-friendly, also-helpful manager, Ron (sorry, Ron, forgot your last name!) it was the easiest car-buying experience I have ever had. My sister has a great vehicle, with the remainder of the original warranty. We were out of there in about 2.5 hours including test drive, start to finish. These guys were great, their service excellent, and we are new fans.

Service department did not call as they said they would when parts arrived. Multiple calls over a period of 6 weeks to try to get mirrors installed - lots of transfers and disconnects. We will not be doing business with this particular dealership again.

I've been a customer with Pearson for 5 years and these past 2 months I've had the worst experience with the service department. My drivers door handle broke and I took it to them to get it fixed because it's under warranty. They said they didn't have the part there but it should be here within a week. After a week went by I did not hear anything back on when they would fix it. I called the department and they said it was backorder and it will take a couple more weeks. I thought it was very inconsiderate that they did not give me a call to let me know this change. Three weeks went by and I still did not hear anything, I go up to the store and they said it will take another couple of weeks for the part to come. I'm furious now because I have to keep sticking my hand out the window to open my door for over 5 weeks now with no update on when it's going to get fixed. I finally got in touch with Jason Vaughn who was no help, he kept forwarding me back to the service department when I wanted to file a complaint. Seven weeks later when I still did not get my door fixed, I called and to the front desk and service department that I was contacting Better Business Bureau because of the lack of customer service, and not receiving service. The service department called me back immediately and suddenly my part appeared for them to fix my door. Then Jason called trying to blame everything on Greg and I told him it wasn't Greg's fault it was Jason, Mike and Eric as well because I talked to them all and no one wanted to help. Now they're suppose to give me a service credit on my tires, but priced the tires higher than the usual price so I would not see the credit, and I will pay the same amount for the tires without the credit. This place disgust me and they have no care for their customers when it's a problem. I'm still reporting this to the Better Business Bureau!
Having taken time to research the pre-owned SUV that I wanted, I visited numerous dealerships that had a year/make/model available. There wasn't one dealership that came close to providing the respect and attention to detail than that of Pearson Hyundai. It is not often that a sales representative and their management takes time to listen - as most are only concerned with "selling" what's best for them. Iam an hyundai customer since 2012. Never had any issue with my service till end of 2015 after that i always have one or the other issue with the service which is done in this dealership and they never call back if there is any followup and i had worst experience with the service. my car still is not fixed.I also raised complaint with hyundai motors and waiting for their resolution to fix the problem.
My friends purchased a vehicle here and we're promised the headlights would be fixed...NOT! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. NOT COOL
On 01, 2019 I took my Hyundai sonata in to be Checked. It turned out that my manifold needed to be worked on. That was the 1st time I have taken my vehicle to be worked on. I was very amaze and pleased to see how well organize these guys are and the friendly serviced I received when I arrive. I was very HAPPY to see how well they treated me and most of all my Vehicle. They worked on the manifold For several hours, But the most outstanding thing of all was how clean I got my Vehicle back with not one drop of oil on the engine. So I'll take this opportunity to say thanks to all you guys at Pearson Hyundai For ya outstanding service.
Had the pleasure once again of working with Mike Spease as my salesman. I'd been working with another dealership for over 1 week but since my family has always purchased our cars from Mike, I stopped by and as always his level of customer service and working to "get the deal done" to my expectations was accomplished in 3 hrs versus a week with the other dealership. It was a no brainer with the warranty coverage and always a pleasure knowing if i have any questions in the future he will be there with a smile to answer :) Thanks again!
I don t want to comment on the service. They ve been good about resolving my issues. My issue is that they overwork their employees. The technicians are expected to work from 7:30-5:30 M-F and every 3rd Saturday without a day off (6 days a week every 3rd week). This labor is hard on a person s body. They offer no paid time off. They take advantage of the commission based pay structure protecting them from fair labor laws.
I bought my 2014 Santa Fe Sport a little over a year ago and have been nothing but satisfied with the sales process then and the service I have received since. I thank the service department for being able to fit me in quickly even though they are extremely busy. Will definitely recommend them to others.

Flawless experience for the most part. The initial salesman that I had was dismissive and the other was ill-informed of the buying process with my specific bank but that's not his fault. Overall though I am very pleased with this dealership and the lady who helped with the blond hair was AWESOME!

I was quoted the wrong price for repair which was upsetting with the difference in the amount she gave me originally then had lights replace in the trunk of my car panel was not replace wires were exposed and this guy had lost the screw and didn't say anything I would like my things return to me the same way I bring it all parts

Well we paid cash for a brand new 2016 veloster turbo r spec, and now we keep getting the run around on the warranty service for the janky radio that's in this thing, you would think they would want to take care of their customers but that doesn't seem to be a priority. It's been 2 months that we've been dealing with this issue, been there 3 times only for them to tell us that they ordered the wrong radio, then got a call that the right one was in but in fact wasn't even there at all, was told that they were going to detail the car , rotate the tires and change the oil, well the oil got changed at least, after driving there 3 times and 35 minutes each way, half truths was all we received. I called to talk to the service manager today and he just passed the buck off onto the service writer who obviously gets his customer service skills from him. So if you like getting the run around and agrivation pearson hyundai is the place 4 you.Maybe no one should buy a hyundai unless you can warranty and service it your self.

Couldn't reach a salesperson to buy a car! Called four times, got voicemail twice, got disconnected once, and one time the salesman picked up with "hello?"... no introduction no nothing. When I asked if this was new car sales, I got hung up on. Haha they clearly don't want my business, I'll buy my genesis elsewhere. Update: They attempted to make this better by giving me a "good deal" on a new genesis. I drive 60 miles to pick it up and the car in question has 6000 miles and stains on the seat and center console. They respond by saying it's never been titled therefore it's new. No matter that they didn't tell me ahead of time knowing where I was driving from. Avoid this place at all costs.

Had engine trouble & luckily I was still under warranty. My serviceman Nick was able to process the paperwork & also provide us with a 10 day car rental while the car was being serviced. He would follow up with me the progress of the vehicle and within 9 days we had our car back w/new engine. Car runs beautifully & we're so happy & satisfied. Thanks Pearson Hyundai job well done!

Scammers. $300 for a scan that was already completed twice by other companies. i told them i didnt want it but to check specifics i already had. Their scanners said the same thing i already had. Still charged me and only had my vehicle for half an hour. Stay away.
Got the state inspection done on my car. I had an appointment and they took it right away and was finished in a reasonable amount of time.

Purchased a used vehicle on 11/09/2019. Some minor cosmetic repairs were requested and vehicle was left with dealer. There were several chips on the vehicle windshield, which I requested be repaired before purchase. The dealer charged me a fee of $50 to fix these chips, as they said they were already selling the vehicle for below market value. I agreed to pay this fee; however, the dealer never contacted the windshield repair company. I was forced to contact them myself, to which the gentleman informed me that he had never heard of this dealer charging a buyer for windshield chip repair. Picked up vehicle from dealer on 11/11/2019. On 11/15/2019, took vehicle to Firestone due to heavy vibration at highway speeds. Vehicle was diagnosed with a bent right, rear rim, as well as being out of alignment and balance. Vehicle was repaired by Firestone and Discount Tire. Took vehicle again to Firestone on 11/23/2019 due to check engine light having illuminated same day. Engine code P0420 was read. Firestone advised a replacement of the catalytic converter and O2 sensors. Also advised the bushing on a front engine mount was torn and in need of replacement. Called dealership 11/25/2019 and spoke with Rick Garland who informed me the service records did not state any of these repairs were needed and that he could not be of any assistance as it was a used "as-is" vehicle. Vehicle was sold in misrepresented condition and not thoroughly inspected. Firestone suggested that the condition in which the vehicle was sold was deceptive and reported fraudulently. EDIT: In response to the dealer s comment below: I did reach out to one of your sales managers. He stated that there was nothing he could do as I did sign an as is waiver. I understand this, but I believe that if your technicians did a thorough evaluation on the vehicle, they would have noticed the bent inner rear rim at the very least. Since your manager said he could do nothing, I saw no reason to bring the vehicle back to your dealership to pay a more exorbitant price for service and for technicians who I wouldn t trust. I know the mileage on my vehicle is high, but that does not mean it should need a $1500 repair after less than two weeks of ownership. Used dealer stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason; and I believe that was largely demonstrated here. Thank you for the response, but I will not visit or recommend your dealership moving forward.
Brought our car in after a trip to Florida. I had hoped to schedule before we left, but openings were not avilable. Our appointment on return was schedulded promptly and everything went well.
Munir Salman a sales associate here surpassed all expectations with my recent purchase of a vehicle here. He had such a positive, uplifting attitude the entire time. He was not only patient but educated on vehicles and the company, also friendly, and made such a good impression on me I will continue to do business with them with any future vehicle purchases. This isn t my first car purchase but it was by far the easiest and best experience I ve ever had at a car lot.
