This hotel is huge. The conference area alone was able to hold all of SANS training courses (which is a lot) and still had room for other companies to hold conferences. However, still your typical hotel, overpriced food and drinks. The staff seemed pretty nice. I didn't stay in this hotel, so I can't comment on the rooms.

One of the Best Hotel by far. Great customer service, Sam was my rep and she was outstanding, also, the place was very clean and the rooms immaculate. Can't wait to go back!
The staff was exceedingly helpful. Not only was the front desk able to answer my curt and admitedly rude question with poise (bad day, inexcusable mood on my part) but the regular staff was polite and helpful in assisting me as well.
The conference center is very classy, definitely one of the best venue I had been to. They provide water stations throughout the center, which is very thoughtful. The meals are awesome, with very friendly staffs. Many of the reception meals are cooked fresh, we got steak, lobster bite, chicken stick, shrimp... overall very good experience at the AIAA Space conference. The only complain I have is that seating is not very good. The chairs are chained together so you are literally rubbing shoulder with the person next to you. So what ended up happening is that most of the seats in between are empty and left many attendee standing for hours...
Top notch Hotel love the newer tower including the concierge club...the beds in the room are the best in the industry and it's always clean and smells good....I love this hotel
Fantastic hotel. Wife, daughter & I had a great time in the pool. Good restaurants nearby and we enjoyed a lot of what Orlando had to offer from this centrally located hotel. We were upgraded due to my member status to a suite and the view was spectacular, particularly at night.
Gorgeous hotel. Gorgeous facilities to host a conference. Huge. Clean. Professional and helpful staff. Gorgeous decor. B-line cafe is amazing. Get a world of Hyatt membership to enjoy 20% off. Close to everything. I would come here again... absolutely... it s safe for kids and it s like a mini city! Thanks for everything. Ps. Enquire at the conceriege for discounted park tickets to Disney ;)
Hyatt Regency Orlando! 5 Star Resort with 5 Star Service!!! I definitely recommend this place. Loved the rooms they do need to make a couple of updates to the phones but otherwise everything else was great!
Enjoy the Tour!
Parking is VIP - Average $38 per night Room Service - $$$$ Resort Fees - $$$$
Lipstick left on the glass is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. You MUST properly clean them. Luckily I noticed it right before taking a sip, but then dropped the glass, it broke and I had to clean up broken glass.
Gorgeous hotel! We travel quite a bit and always stay with Hyatt. This Hyatt Regency is gorgeous, absolutely stunning. It is connected to the convention center which in itself is beautiful. The staff at the Hyatt were so helpful when we needed some extra items as well as some assistance with parking. There are several pools here, two quite ones off on one side and a more vibrant one with a waterfall and cabanas. Parking is easy and plentiful. The hotel is fabulous, feels like a full service resort.
Checked in at approximately 4pm, 1 full hour after check in became available to guests. Was told upon check in that my family's room was not ready but will receive a notification via text message when the room is available. About 1 hour and 20 minutes has gone by, waiting patiently in the lobby, watching other guests check in and receiving their keys. I would say I'm a very patient man but my 12 month old was getting crabby and we needed our room. I went back to the front desk to ask if the room is available now and sure enough, there was a room available. No notification received. Had my daughter not been there who knows how long my wife and I would've waited. Thank you Hyatt regeregency for waiving the parking fee but that completely ruined the mood and our plans for the rest of the day. But wait, there's more. As we were resting in our room, my daughter had awaken from her sleep and fussed. Our next door neighbor decided to repeatedly pound on our wall and shouted " shut that (profanity) baby up". Of course, I retaliated by shouting back that she's a baby and what do you expect. If you know some secret that will make all babies sleep during the night without waking up, do tell the world please. ( Fyi, this is Orlando, where there's almost a child in every room). What happened next completely made me lose my mind. Our dear neighbor decided to call down to front desk and complain that we were pounding walls and making a commotion. Security came up and accused us of such actions. My apologies for being rude to the gentlemen that came up but I was enraged at this point. How dare they make a false claim on my family. It's now 2:32am and my blood is still boiling. Hyatt Regency of Orlando, please do the right thing in the morning. My family has been through quite enough.
Fine to host a convention here if you don't like your employees very much and you enjoy putting them post-mortem with your boring ass financial presentation in an appropriate morgue-like setting.
I was here for Zumba Fitness convention and I was fascinated. Great commodities, amazing view, surrounded by restaurants and nice places to visit just a walking distance
The property is large, nice, we ll staffed. Huge area for big conferences. I was on the 6th floor in tower 1. Sound: The elevators opened right to my door practically, so I got to hear them all night, the party on the terrace was loud and could hear that, the water pressure was crazy strong (usually a good thing) but it was so strong the shower rattles like crazy and so do the rooms around! I do not have sensitive hearing, my wife says I m deaf, but wow this was not a quiet room at all. Comfort: The king bed I had was just fine, average, nothing great, nothing too bad, very springy, room was large, well stocked, good quality iron and board, good fridge, nice big TV with HBO Bathroom: spacious, big tub, water pressure was really too strong and the hot water would burn you if turned on more than just a touch. Nice big mirror with a screen in it and a defogged portion. Service: The room service gave new sheets and towels, emptied the trash but didn t really clean much of anything else that I could notice, really only the basics were ever done.
Wonderful hotel, one more night to go and we've only really had one issue. Housekeeping didn't turn over our room on the second day there and after multiple calls and visiting the front desk they finally came to do the room at past 10 pm. The individual that called was very appologetic and we did set an exact time for them to do it in the morning. I would call that a win in my book. Other than that, so far so good.
The Hyatt regency is a gorgeous facility. There are two really nice pools, one primary for family and one"quiet" pool mainly for adults who want to lounge in peace. The hotel is attached to a large conference facility with many rooms of all sizes. The parking garage is a small walk from the entrance, and there is a fee for parking. Our room was very comfortable and had a nice view of the quiet pool.
After a rough beginning to our stay, we had an AMAZING time. The chef that worked our conference made me and another guest a special meal since they didn't have food in the buffet that would accommodate our dietary restrictions. I was shocked! And incredibly grateful!
This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. I especially thought the tv in the bathroom mirror was a great touch. The resort pool was beautiful along with the water slide. They even have a rooftop pool that was beautiful. There are many places to eat inside. I would definitely stay here again.
I didn't stay at this hotel, but spent quite a bit of time there, during my most recent visit to Orlando for a conference. The options for restaurants and bars are great, and the expanse of the place for conferences and smaller meetings is unbelievable.
The hotel is amazing. It has everything, except an indoor pool. It has a huge conference center and it takes about a half mile walk to get to some conference rooms. The room I have is a double queen, with a refrigerator and a great view. The appointments are fresh and clean.
My problem is how they maintain the room. This is why I only gave it 3 stars. I call it maintenance by emergency. They wait until something breaks and then you have to call them to have it fixed. First the shower faucet wouldn't shut off and the toilet didn't flush right. So I called and they sent up an engineer who fixed it while I was out. He was great. Then the air conditioner quit just before bedtime. So I had to call twice. When he came he changed the batteries!!! I mean what kind of system has batteries in every room? They'll be changing them all the time! And did I forget to say the TV wasn't working? The repair guy came and said the connector was broken! They told me they just installed a new system and Tv's. Didn't someone test it?
When they did get it working, it had Google cast so I cod watch my Netflix and Hulu and CBS app from my phone to the TV. That was pretty cool. But there was no HDMI input for me to watch my DVDs from my laptop. Boo.
The staff were very nice and Ashley, the concierge was fantastic. The maids were great, they got me a shower chair when repeated calls to the front desk failed.
Overall, it is a great place, but the way the do preventive maintenance needs some very large tweaking.
Sam at the Hyatt Regency saved our trip. She was so friendly, and so helpful when we got in at 3:30 in the morning. After a horrible experience with our original hotel, she was more than accommodating. The room was beautiful, and my only regret was that I couldn t use the beautiful pool, because our itinerary did not allow us to. Thanks, Sam for making our first night in Orlando a great one!
Me and my husband travel alot. We just went to Orlando this past weekend for his birthday and we had the most amazing vacation ever. This hotel is superb!! Clean, friendly and everyone is treated as VIP. We dined at Fiorenzo restaurant for his bday and the service we got was impeccable. The food was amazing!! Johnny was our server, took care of us like family. There was also the restaurant manager Menelik, who is an exceptional passionate person who strives for excellence. He makes sure each and every guest has been well treated and having the best time. He adds a personal touch to every guest which makes you feel like home. We went back to that restaurant every day for dinner. we loved everything about it and would recommend it to everyone.
Really enjoyed the hotel and all it's amenities. We spent four days working a convention at the convention center and it was easy using the covered crosswalk to get back and forth. Food choices in the hotel Marketplace were fast, handy and delicious. We also ate at the diner and the food was pretty good there too. Staff was SUPER friendly and accommodating. Great time at hotel.
We stayed here overnight before heading to the cruise port. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was very attentive and professional. I will definitely stay here again.
Beautiful accommodation hotel close to everything. We were able to walk to a number of restaurants and bars with ease along with the great options the hotel offered.
Our experience was based on attending an event in one ballroom in this huge hotel. Upon asking the staff about where to park, we were told that valet parking was for $20 or self parking at the 4-storey parking garage that needed a m ini bus to rech. Of course we chose the self-parking only to find out after our event that any parking for more than 30 min.wathth subject to a $27 fee aday. for both guests or visitors. Well, we felt rippedoff and cheated. Why should a guest pay $27 for 24 hours of parking when he is paying a high price for the stay? And why should a visitor pay for self parking (and travel from and to the garage) when he had already paid a high price to attend an event? And why do the staff give misleading information about parking? Is it possible that such a renowned hotel is in need of cheating to mend its budget?
Came for IT Nation, awesome staff, super helpful! Room was immaculate. Very classy atmosphere. Restaurants were very accommodating and the food was superb. Thanks for a great experience Hyatt!!
Great service from the time you pull up. We ate at the diner and restaurant and fully enjoyed the food. Also had a pedicure at the spa, very relaxing. Beautiful pool and fitness center. I'm not sure why the need to charge guest for parking but I suppose it's common. The pool bar beer very pricey but overall had a fantastic stay. Will be back.
We were just there over the weekend for a kickboxing tournament. We were required to stay at the hotel as part of our participation. Room was excellent. The reason for the mid-level review was that we were charged for parking; $27.00 per day. This should not be an additional fee if you are staying as a guest.
Pretty nice hotel. I attended a few weddings here and there are many rooms available for reservation. Service is as expected, no hiccups there. May be considered on the pricey side. Seperate internet for business occassions.
The valet was very polite and friendly. The front desk very very pleasant and accommodating. The grounds and our room were spotless.
We had a great time and experience. Highly recommend this hotel. The only downside which isn't their fault is to use the water slide you have to be 48" or taller. Our 4 yo was just shy. This is something that's good to know JIC you have kids.
Well, I personally do not like big hotel because they seem to me artificial, impersonal and cold. But I have to admit that Hyatt Regency has impressed me for the personalization of the different and numerous environments, the quality of materials and richness of services.
Favorite place to stay in Orlando. Luxury rooms 5 lagoon pools Starbucks and many places to eat inside. Workout room is excellent with virtual reality treadmills.
The manager Anouk greets everyone with friendly warm enthusiasm. The chef there prepares delicious fresh food. The staff is eager to be helpful and accommodating in any way that that they are able. Would so very much love to return..
Stayed here during Zumba convention. Very convenient and close to all my session. Had enough time in between to head to my room. staff took good care of us especially Housekeeping. Can't wait to stay here next year!!!!
