Whenever I'm in need of services for my laptop or desktop this store is guaranteed to have what your looking for or answers to your problems. I recently needed a new power supply to my laptop and they had the product at a fair price. Worked beautiful with my Dell.
Changed my screen there in hopes of finding a better quality screen, since the ones I installed were poorly manufactured. Not only is the screen they gave me thin, but the digitizer barely functions the way it should. It recognizes my finger about had the time and the ends of the screen don't work at all. I had it replaced once there during my warranty period and there was no improvement. Not to mention, it was almost a hundred dollars for a screen that costs maybe $20. Also, they charge a 30 dollar consultant fee. Didn't know it takes a genius to see that a screen in cracked. You get what you pay for. Don't save the 30 dollars to not get it done by Apple. Pcw uses cheap parts that make it even harder to use your broken phone.
update: its a month or two later and the screen literally started falling apart in my phone. I bought a new LCD to do it myself, just to find out the LCD they installed pretty much destroyed my logic board, and my phone is rendered useless. Don't go here unless you think a monkey could do it.

i went to this store on a wednesday and i was told my ps4 would be looked at by friday. that was a lie my ps4 was not even looked at until the following tuesday terrible service

Brought my laptop in for a crack screen. The fixed it in less than 4 hours and they fixed the missing screws for free. i paid half of what i would have paid at best buy. i dont know about everyone else but i had a decent experience.
They did a great job,absolutely wonderful fast service and reasonable price .I would highly recommend them to anyone.

You can't really get what you need and they're way too expensive for what they do in house.
I will never go back to PCW. I was a loyal customer until they changed my screen and it cracked again the next day after one fall in a life proof case. When I went back to tell them they told me that they could fix it again for $70 when i paid $160 a couple days before. The screen was paper thin and the slightest hit cracked it until it completely stopped working.
Don't waste your time. I left my Xbox with them to replace the failing DVD drive. They promised it back within the same day, since the tech was on-site. They ended up keeping it for a week and never replaced the DVD drive. Same problem... I should have just bought a refurbished Xbox instead.
PCW in Milford on the Boston Post Rd is very good. Helpful and honest, they have never overcharged me. My Moms MAC fix turned out to be operator error, so they didn t even charge us the diagnosis fee.
Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Only problem seems that they are currently short staffed.
Do not trust these people with your toaster. Kept my computer 2 weeks without working on it. Wanted $500 to replace a LCD panel that costs $80, and comes with an instruction manual! When I went to get it back and do it myself, they held the computer hostage because I didn't have the "ticket." And then they tried to charge me $30 for a "diagnostic sweep" I did not request. In their favor, they dropped that demand. I guess even pirates have a conscience.
I would like to recommend PCW for computer service.
To begin with, the atmosphere is serious, intense and professional.
Among the four or so technicians on staff, there is always someone to greet you and to assist you.
Upon completion of service performed on two computers that I had brought in, I was highly satisfied with the results.
The combination of professionalism, expertise, and excellent service compels me to cast my vote for PCW.
It's a very, very, very good mom&pop shop. The people are good. They are limited by how many workers they have available. You are not going to find a better alternative for the price. You have to expect that sometimes things will take longer because they just don't have depth in their staff so if someone is sick, you'll probably being impacted in terms of delivery date. That said, I take all of my stuff there and roll with the punches because they have consistently fixed all of my PC/device issues for a fair price.
My laptop screen fades to grey while in use on a reoccurring basis. Took it to the Wallingford PCW who then sent it to the Orange branch. They diagnosed the problem as a faulty screen. I paid them to replace the screen. It did not correct the problem. Took the computer back to them. They then said it was the LCD cable. 4 weeks later I get the laptop back and the problem remains the same. The screen still fades to grey while in use on a reoccurring basis. In addition, there is NO communication between the Orange & Wallingford branches. I had to hound them to get information about what was being done and why it was taking so long.
If your seeking an honest diagnosis on an issue you are experiencing; with whether it be: a computer, tv, video game console, pretty much anything with a mother board, they are the True Experts!!! Thank you everyone for all the support and great service!
I have to say I had a good experience. I took an older laptop in for keyboard repair and they gave me a new keyboard for $80, including labor. I didn't want to have to buy a new laptop just for sticky keys, so this repair saved me a ton of money. They took 5 days which is very reasonable. I would use them again.

My Xbox disk drive had a game stuck in it that it wouldn't eject, so I got it repaired here. First time I picked it back up and tried it, it still didn't work, so I had to take it back. Second time I picked it up, it worked, but the game that had been stuck in there was missing. Still waiting on them to call me about where that game went. Very unhappy with the service here.
I am back in biz w/my laptop thanks to Dave and Omar at PCW. I had an amazing turnaround time and price for my repair (broken hinge, I provided the replacement).
They did an OUTSTANDING job with my computer. They helped me look for files I'd erased and they later repaired my computer when the screen got cracked. The last time I brought my computer in to be looked at they ran scans and determined I didn't need to fix my hardware but that it was a software issue -- and they did all of this free of charge! I couldn't recommend them more highly. Especially Omar, the manager, he really knows his computers!
Had my ps3 fixed there a year ago and still working great! The staff was polite and knowledgeable. I recommend this place to many for pc repair. I sell computers and I feel like a lot of the reviews on here that are bad are because people are always really mad when there computer breaks.

My Dell XPS wasn't turning on. I brought the computer into PCW at 11:20AM. Within 45 mins, I got a call back that my computer was fixed (needed new power supply) and that they cleaned out all the debris and dust built-up.
I manage over 200 iPads for the company I work for and I'm bringing in at least one of months to be repaired. I've tried many other places but this place is the best. It's managed properly, communicates well with my team and the cost is always reasonable
I have been using PCW for at least 10 years. They built a desktop for me and have made many modifications to it and family machines as well. PCW is competent, reliable and reasonably priced. I am a very satisfied customer.

Lol needed to do a simple SD card transfer for my smart phone was told $50.00 was lowest they could do it for. So I went to staples in Fairfield and spent $7.99 Sums up PCW.
I had an HP that had a 4 bad sectors on the harddrive and it took well over 3 MONTHS to get a call back! I paid $50 to see if they can do anything and they say they got into the computer. I get home and plug it in and it's even worse then it was before!! They will rob you and ruin your computer! If you're able to back your personal files up, do so before you give it to them!
Brought my custom built desktop in for overheating issues. I told them exactly what I thought the problem was and what I was looking to do to fix it. They said I needed to let them run a diagnostic for $30 and they would call me in 2-3 days. I called on the 3rd day to find out it hadn't been looked at yet and they were going to do it right then and call me. No phone call, so the next day I went to just get it back from them. They tried telling me it wasn't overheating and my OS was crashing and might need to be reinstalled. They also tried saying that it being overclocked was a part of the problem. They also lost the screws to my side panel. Nevermind that it was just sitting there with the panel off, I had to clean it as soon as I got home. They have no clue what they're doing when it comes to pc builds and repairs, and just hit you with that diagnostic fee and try to scam you. Btw, the problem turned out to be exactly what I thought and I need to replace my Liquid CPU Cooler and just for extra assurance upgrading my intake fan. Oh and saying overclocked at only 10%, when the machine is capable of 30%, is a joke. Just goes to show if want something done right, do it yourself.

HIS NAME IS ANDREW AND HE CAME OVER AND SCREWED UP MY HARD DRIVES AND THEN THE LAST HARD DRIVE HE GOT RIGHT BUT DID IT IN MY HOME. AND I SAW HE HAD A BACK UP OF MY HARD DRIVE AND HAD ALL MY INFO, PASSWORDS, MUSIC, PICTURES ETC... WELL, HE STOPPED TAKING MY CALLS AND SOON AFTER. MY DATA WAS BEING CHANGED EVERYDAY. HE WOULD HAVE MY MUSIC TRANSFERED OR DELETED AND THEN BROUGHT BACK, HE WOULD FFREEZE UP MY SCREEN AND START A FAKE DOWNLOAD SAYING IT WAS GONNA INSPECT MY FILES, AND I COULDN'T SHUT DOWN BEFORE EVERYTHING WAS ERASED, SO I HAD TO CONSTANTLY MANUALLY SHUT DOWN BEFORE IT STARTED. I HAD TO DO SYSTEM RESTORE OVER A DOZEN TIMES. THEN HE MESSED WITH MY YOUTUBE FORE A FEW MONTHS NOT LETTING ME SAVE MY SONGS OR ANYTHING. THEN AND NOW HE LIKES TO MESS WITH MY VIDEO TO MP3 CONVERTER THAT HE INSTALLED. ONE DAY IT WORKS, AND THE NEXT IT'S OUT OF DATE, OVER AND OVER AND OVER....WORKS, OUT OF DATE, WORKS, OUT OF DATE. AND WHEN I TRY TO PUT A SONG ON MY MP3 FROM WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER, HE CAN SEE THAT I'M USING IT AND THAT'S WHEN THE POP UP SAYINGGIONG TO CHECK ALL YOUR FILES AND THEN I HAVE TO QUICKLY SHUT DOWN BEFORE IT ERASES ALL MY INFO. HE'S A HACKER AND HE SEES AND WATCHES EVERYTHING YOU DO. NO MORE PRIVACY. I WENT TO THE POLICE AND PCW WOULDN'T COOPERATE GIVING ME HIS LAST NAME. SO NOW I'M GONNA PLAY HARDBALL WITH PCW AND BRING THE COPS THERE. AND ANDREW ALSO SAID THEY OVER CHARGE PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY KNOW THERE'S NO WHERE ELSE PEOPLE CAN TAKE THEIR COPMUTERS. Called and asked if they carried Network interface cards (NIC) the kid that answered had to ask his boss what it was. Said what customers call things is not always what other people call them. Get with the program people... Don't make up special names for stuff... What kind of a shop specializes in Networks (according to their website) does not carry a NIC...
Excellent Facility! Santos did a beautiful job repairing an Apple MacBook that I honestly didn't think would be repairable. It came out perfectly and has been working flawlessly ever since! Great Job Guys! Customer satisfaction is Santos's number One goal and that he has done gracefully, and with an expertise that one rarely sees in this business climate today! Kudos to you Santos!!

Ludacris! I wanted to put a dvd onto a usb be and they wanted to charge me 50$. They should be going out of business soon
