Great place to buy computer accessories, appliances, TVs, laptop/computers.
everything i wanted was out of stock...Walked out with the Hump and spent my 1000 pound elsewhere that had all i wanted to take away.
Awfull service and seriously bad attitude will never shop here again
Brought all white goods from Currys in the last 12 months & had to exchange 2 items, took a while to sort my cooker out roughly 5 mths till they admitted the cooker was not fit for use!! And then my TD, control panel malfunctioned though they were very quick to sort this out so Thank you Currys, we got there in the end, happy customer!
Ok place but the store is empty moat of the time everything need to be ordered
Why is it called "PC World" when it doesnt even have a PC variety? Should be renamed Electronics imo. What a bummer. :/
Told me that an error message that keeps coming up on my old laptop is a hardware problem and that I need to buy a new laptop. Took laptop to an independent shop and they found that there was a software conflict which was easily fixed for a fraction of the cost!
We asked for help from a manager who asked another member of staff to help who then went to ask another person to help us !!! After 20 minutes of waiting we walked out and purchased our items from amazon 30% cheaper with next day free delivery. Lots of staff just chatting amongst themselves. Frustrating and won t survive long like this
Gone to buy a washing machine, apparently liked it, but totally marketing speech for money grabbing, say FREE DELIVERY but when decided to pay, list of Extra charges starts,, end total ends with 80 quids extra on top of appliance price
good service, nice staff to talk to who give good advice
It's well located and has a lot on offer I was looking for a new laptop was surprised by the choice available. Sales assistant was good and very informative he helped me make my choice with his knowledge and practical demonstrations of the laptops I was shown.
I needed to return a faulty Toaster. They gave me the refund without any hassle
Nothing good to say than the shop presentation,
On till 13/01/19
At 2.15pm 4 people working over there, they have to learn how to welcome to customers, as this biggest company, we waiting on the till they speaking foreign language between them also eating something infront us than giving important to serving customer..!
Why ..? Curry s never give breaks to staff..?
I been to fossepark curry s really fantastic service all the staff
You guys need to improve all your services including your manners at the floor
I watched look around the store for 5-10 minutes after that, few customers looking fir help, but you guys standing together gossiping
Manager and 3 staffs talking foreign languages
Bad behaviour
Nothing racist, just for manners.
There was no one to assist and when we asked couple of workers we were told we are busy and someone will come soon. They were only a few customers in the shop but the workers were more interested in chatting within themselves and setting More
Doesnt stick munch has little variett compared to a standard currys store
This was not the first time I've been here, however it was somewhat a place where I am not in a hurry to revisit!!
Supplies mostly standard and lower quality tech at premium prices, rather than premium tech at discounted prices.
The workers have no idea what they're talking about. At least have some true knowledge of computers as well as mobile phones before going on your way to sell it.
I'm not even being toxic when writing this review, but honestly they have no idea about a lot of products.
Don't shop here. They'll try to take advantage of you and sell you a poor product with dubious tactics.
Poor customer service and lack of product knowledge. All they were interested in was to sell warranty and add ons..
I'll miss the old days where you can walk into a shop and buy a telly without any of this faff to keep me 'safe'.
Enjoyed the bit where I was rung up with instructions on what to do when picking up a telly.
Thinking if this is the new normal then god help us all.
Good Customer Service But Long Queues
The gentleman on the phone said that they can price match it and then i went to the store but there were 6-7 people waiting at customer services and only 2 computers to process refunds and returns. This was not a gripe because i had time to kill but if you were in a rush it would be difficult and because it was a reservation and price match it would not be valid next day
The lady who served me in store was a new hire and therefore was fuzzy about procedures including price match but luckily i had my tablet so that i could show her the price match because she was not sure and to clear up confusion. Then she was satisfied and then released the coffee machine to me which i then paid for and left.
The moral of this story is if you do a price match on the phone make sure you get some proof of the lowest price and website that they specify (phone, tablet, printout) because then you have got a leg to stand on and this will help if you have any confusion as to lowest price.
Bad customer service and staff member order wrong items then say they can't take it back and let me order what I want even though the fault is on them
Always had good experience visiting and buying products staff are always polite and helpful .
I was the only one at the collect order desk and after 5 mins I get KNOWHOW come over and check if my order was ready to collect. Didn't really KNOW HOW to check as she asked the other colleague if the click n collect orders had arrived.
20 sales people, none of them helpful and too busy having a laugh, it's like a sitcom.
Staff don't know what the are doing. Make you wait 10mins whilst they finish their personal phone calls.
Worst customer service ever received. Rude arrogant. Customers seem to be an intrusion to their chat. Be thankful you have a job and at least show appreciation by taking care of your customers.
Quite a small range of tower desktop PCs and accessories. However the staff were friendly and happy to help.
Absolutely disgusting store with disgusting behaviour.
Uneducated staff. Dont know what they talkin about.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Electronic store, friendly and sometimes annoying stuff. There isn't many tech stores competitors in UK, that makes Curry's pc monopolize the market and keep prices higher than it should be.
Generally good service and choice of products. At busy times it's hard to find a member of staff who cam help and some lack product knowledge. The games area and simulators are cool.
One of the worst shops I have ever been to. Staff are more concerned with talking to each other than serving customers. Why Currys consider this to be acceptable behaviour is beyond me; and clearly they do since they do nothing to correct the problem.
I went in to buy a new printer on Tuesday and not one member of staff came and asked if I needed assistance. I was standing in the printer aisle looking at the different products trying to ascertain which would be suitable for my needs. I tried to attract the attention of nearby staff but as I said, they were engrossed in their own conversations and quickly moved away as I approached.
At the service counter, there was one person dealing with an enquiry with a customer, which quickly swelled to three members of staff all concerning themselves with this one customer. How flattering, if only I could receive such undying attention.
After about 45 minutes, I eventually decided on which printer to purchase, but only after reading almost every printer description on show and reading all the info on every box. In the end I selected an HP office jet, but again no one was available to explain the "instant ink" procedure or its benefits.
When it came to paying, I was "served" by one of the three people that were so concerned with the one customer earlier. He must have been mightily relieved that I had done his job for him and all he had to do was take payment. But even this simple task was devoid of any semblance of customer service, being more interested in trying to flog me one of their extended warranties rather than asking if I was happy with the machine I had chosen.
Two times I asked about my reservation for laptop in 2 other peoples. They said wait 5min and you will get it. I wait around 30min. They already forgot me. In 3th time when I asked that someone can sort out my problem one lady done it in 5 min. The rest of crew is useless....
Wonderful excellent staff iqbal and waqas your the best
Nice range of Gadgets and electronics to explore. Prices and offers are a perk with quality products and customer services.
Horrible customer service, said there was nothing wrong with my phone so had to go to another store for help!
I'll admit it has been a while since I've been but my visits have always been pleasant, staff not pestering me, big shop, lots of things to try before buying.
Online order was two days late.
Got their number from call centre. Rang about 4 times no one ever answered.
Call centre told me they had in stock. Went all the way down there to collect. Guess what ...yep was not there
Sunday 2pm. Lots of staff, when i grabbed someone to help he didn't know anything the item, none on display and wasn't aloud to open box of a new one to view it. But other than that I still purchased it and it's nice
Poor service as always, pointless reservation system, not an isolated incident. Yet another frustrating experience with crrys PC World.
Worst customer service and the sales assistants are least bothered to serve or look at the needs of customer I don't recommend this store.
