Patong resort hotel Review

The hotel is very conveniently located. 5 min walking distance to the beach. 2 min walking distance to Bangla road. Surrounded by Market.
Starting with the reception, they were quite courteous and the whole process waa very smooth. The hotel has 2 separate areas. The main building are the hotel rooms and the other area is the resort area. We chose to stay in the resort rooms. Comfortable and clean rooms. The surroundings were also soothing. They had massage services in the room itself. At almost the same rate.
Overall a good place to stay with family or friends or even as a solo traveler. They have one pool in each area surrounded by greenery. Nice continental breakfast. I found the charges to be worth the stay.

With the competition in the area,they
are behind on the renovations .The doors leading outside have small cracks in them which allow bugs to enter . In addition, the toilet looks like it belongs in a mall bathroom. My room had mosquitoes inside that I had to chase around and kill. They give you a free drink coupon at the counter. Which does not mean any drink. More of just a fruit punch that is pre-made. The key systems need updating. Who wants this big bulky object in their pocket all night like a 1970 s beachside motel .

Good hotel. Very relaxing. Value plus. Nice setting. Happy staff. Very close to action.

Pathetic service,rooms are ok but service and breakfast are really very poor.unfriendly staff..u can try at if u want to loose ur vacation mood..waste of money.

Get place to stay. Everything perfect.

Poor hospitality
They want to extract extra money from customers . I was charged 1000baht for not cleaning kettle properly whose actual total cost is 1220 baht.
Only good thing is its location.

The resort at a property is above average. Rooms are big !
I'm assuming the relationship quotients in Thailand must not be so good because even for couples they give twin beds ! So that must be the norm !!!!! Ridiculous.. but whatever...
However what is disappointing is the fact that such a huge property is run by interns..so the service is slow and below average.
Even if u ask them to separate an egg white from an egg yellow, the chef can't do it because he's a trainee and doesn't know how to do it. The place has 3 swimming pools. So good for the kids.
The rooms have bath tubs..
However the staff is Curt and unfriendly.

Location is great. It's v close to the main patong street which is like the walking street in pataya.
Has good Indian restaurants around.

1 hour distance from the airport !!!!

Some rooms are newly renovated whilst others are older then the pictures online. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly

No WiFi. There is WiFi in the lobby, but you have to make payments. Rooms just sqeeze into the 4 star category. Breakfast is eatable at best.

One of the Best hotels in Phuket. Very near to patong Beach. Clean rooms, good food and excellent service. In hotel ATM and shops available. Indian restaurants are also nearby.

wifi is an issue ,breakfast spread has to be improved .rooms are spacious .close to the beach walk able around 500 mts. Accessible to Bangla road within few meters . Lot of Indian Restaurants nearby .

Never be fooled by the stars..this hotel is very old..not well mentained..However it is in good location to the beach, the mall and Bangla road..

It's nice hotel just near to patong beach and famous patong street for shopping, near to night life street. Amazing location. Have good rooms and views. Good food and parking space. Very few options for Indian veg breakfast.

This hotel located in one of the best point, close to the Patong beach with so many restaurants and bar, super market and massage that open too late. facility very good with many room type. Staff friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast very good.

Very high price for pickup taxi for 4 person they took 1500 bath but in airport counters say only 800 bath for 4 person quite costly they not listening our complaints especially INDIANS better indus avoid this kind of services low budget and better service hotels are near by with good respect manners for indus i am not satisfied my self sorry to say this

The hotel is good. Rooms for 4+. No hair dryer. To the center 5 minutes. That is about 25 minutes to the sea on foot. Were in 2013,2014 year. The staff is good, the language is English

Staff at the top, super kind and helpful.
The buffet breakfast is varied and very good.
The rooms are top and the rates in general are not expensive.
The only flaw I have not managed to connect to the wifi network but hey on vacation it avoids spending time on the internet.

Amazing ambiance, Perfect locality for tourists and the refreshing smell of sea side. Close to the notorious walking street that dazzles in disco lights and the bars that play your tune to get you in the groove! Relax during the day and party in the night. The rooms are quite accommodating with a feel of luxury and peace. Visited thrice and still would not change the location. Heart warming hospitality coupled with good food and amazing outdoor activities within 3-4 minutes walking distance.

Overall resort was good. Staff is friendly. But got some bad experience while checkout dnt know whose fault that was as we have done pre bookinh but at the time. Of checkin they asked for. Security deposit of 2000 baht per room. And we gad taken limited cash with us and as we were not aware of this everyone was unhappy.

I satyied there for several times . I booked a premium deluxe room . The room is perfect . But unfortunately the house keeping stoled my reservation for a party costs 4000 baht and a perfume from my room . And I called the manager many times he said the house keeping didnot take any thing. If you want go to the police and i am disappointed. Also the house keeping wasn't clean. I have to ask them to do the clean and I have to clean with them to assure the room cleaning. Not all the staff understands english which is a big problem. I donot recommend to keep your stuff outside saftybox. Even a pecie of paper.

Do not stay here i only give 1 star because i cant give 0 2000 bart deposit no wifi in room air con bad staff so rude never again will i stay here came back from night out with girlfriend who is korean and checked in with me with her korean passport stoped by security and told it would cost extra to take prostitue back to room . i had to get him to check with recption then when i complain to manager ended up.getting into a screaming match with him with alsorts of threats of voilence he said he would get some of his friends to come see me and also said he would call police .in my 10 trips to thailand i have never been treated so badly stay away from this place so much better places to stay

Don't go to a restaurant that is too passionate about Chinese people, and ask you to let the old iron want to black you.

Great resort great food as well as great swimming pool it is large cleanliness is also good and room was also spacious

Heart of the action and close to the beach also close to jungcyelon shopping mall 2 pools and fantastic staff very helpful safe place in patong 5 stars for me.

Shopping area is very near from resort.

Good veg options available Inside resort and on Patong street.

Lot's of Indian cuisine located in Patong street.

We also enjoyed SONGKRAN Festival there.

HORRIBLE STAY EVER MY LIFE
I am frequent traveller and booked this hotel for 3 nights with family, their room cleaning staff broken stool glass of 18"/12" when I was outside for lunch, when I reported this to reception, they blamed me and charged THB 2000 and didn't return back my security, even I told them 1000 times, we didn't break this glass, witch cost is 220 THB only but they charged me, I called to 1155 tourist police no but they also didn't support me, my last day completely wasted hotel staff argument and complaining, I didn't advise to anyone to stay there, Hotel staff is very rude, Ac was not cooling even not veg breakfast there, I changed my room two times during my 3 day stay and suffered whole night without Ac. Zero star not recommended and nobody help me in this matter, anybody can advise where to report this incident.

Stayed here for 2 weeks and looked around the rooms and breakfast are ok. Like the pool area, I could not say anything negative, the location is top. The beach a cloak unfortunately it is getting worse. The prices in the Patong have attracted huge, if it comes do not come here if you are on beach vacation, otherwise apart from the garbage problem, the rest in my opinion okay.

The work room, O-kaka, room and food are ok. Close to the beach and the beach is pretty clean.

Decent resort close to the beach and Bangla street. Choose the rooms facing away from the road since the streets are noisy till late in the night. Courteous staff and the breakfast buffet options are good

Split my time between Patong Resort and the nearby Sleep With Me Hotel during a week-long visit in November. Have to say Sleep With Me was better in just about every way. Sleep With Me (despite the somewhat creepy name) has been recently renovated and offers a great breakfast, great rooftop bar and pool, and rooms with updated features such as USB-charging ports, modern bathrooms, etc. Patong Resort charges extra for both breakfast and WiFi (seriously?), and the rooms feel incredibly dated and dark. On the plus side, Patong's location is slightly closer to the beach and has a little better access. Overall, Patong is resort is not a bad place, but I just found Sleep With Me to offer more at either the same price or often less.

The building looks old fashioned on interior & exterior but still comfy & clean. Breakfast taste are average. Huge pool but it looks like 90's style. Great location, right in the heart of Rat-U-Thit road & easy to find street foods, shops, spa, also close to Jungceylon Mall & Bangla Road.

Hotel clean location very very good one side bar across the street scanned the other beach beach morning breakfast included don't eat everyday I'm bored to eat the internet doesn't get cramped constantly format you need to get up in the air get up overseas take a pack take pleasure enjoy employees about rooms big and clean
