Filed a gap insurance claim, submitted all documents twice, all within less than the stated time frame, and they still turned it down. It was for less than $500.00 and they still couldn't handle that. Never ever buy gap insurance through them.

From the bottom of my heart...this company does not need to be in this business. On top of making a traumatic situation even more stressful and difficult, I paid them for a service I feel like I am not getting. My primary insurance company paid my lender their partTHE DAY I made the claim. Gap has yet to pay their part and it s been over a month... they always need more paper work... please please please either change the quality of service your provide or simply find another Industry to be apart of because I truly wish that when I purchased my car I did my research... I definitely would have gone with another GAP insurance company.

Everyone please encourage your friends/family/others to pay attention and do their research ! I went with the GAP coverage that was offered to me through my dealership. I never thought I would total my car so I didn t even bother to know the name of the company that the coverage was through. If I took the time I would ve seen the poor reviews and went with another company. Don t let other people make the same mistake...It is definitely turning out to be a costly and stressful one.

a truly godawful company. stay as far away as possible. i crashed my car in april and ive been trying to get them to cover my remaining balance ever since. all they do is ask me for some documents, and when i send them those they wait a month then ask for completely different documents. it has gone on for six months and now my next payment is past due and i lost 50 credit score. whats the point of getting this gap insurance if they wont pay the gap? completely asinine and an utter waste of bones.

I have 36 years in the car business. I have sold many different new vehicle warranties. We find this company to honorable and completely above board. If you are a consumer or dealer considering doing business with Partners Alliance, we encourage you to go forward and use them.

Got in an accident in October 2019 and sent in my claim shortly after. 6 months later they pay HALF of what is owed. During these 6 months I tried to contact them constantly but I wouldn't get any answers. I went as far as asking my loan company and dealership if they heard from them/received payment. The dealership was never told that they filed a claim on my vehicle. Currently trying to get them to pay the rest of what they should've paid the first time. This company is a waste of time and will gyp you of your own money.

Worst Company ever. All I can say is trust the rev...

Worst Company ever. All I can say is trust the reviews. Paperwork sent twice by myself and Finance Company with claims of not receiving the first sets of paperwork. I've made 3 car payments on a car I no longer have. October 1st I was told my file was being sent out for a final review and my car is still not paid off. When I say "paid off" I mean a total of approx. $900 they had to pay and are not. Just received ANOTHER car payment notice. They have no intention of paying any of the loss. I financed a new vehicle (before realizing how horrible PAC is and included their ridiculous GAP coverage again) I just added GAP through my AAA auto insurance and will be cancelling PAC coverage through Hyundai. Shame on PAC it should be illegal to take someones money and not provide the service agreed upon. Do not waste your time with these people they have no intention of helping you. The only thing I can do is take business away from them.

Despite the only review on this company it was pretty easy to get this company to pay my husbands car off it took about ten days after he got the paperwork they ask for to them. He owed over $3500 dollars they got the check to his lean company and paid it in full before the loan became late I was worried after reading the review posted but I would use this company again thanks.

Update: Credit score dropped 50 points waiting for this company to pay their part.

After I got into my accident I was still responsible for payments on the car totaled, which was already understood. However, this company had me chase so many documents and re turn in documents. Not to mention when initially filing my claim it was closed because they somehow ended up with the wrong email address. How? When the customer service rep repeated it back to me TWICE correctly ?!I ended up paying almost 2000 out of pocket on car payments for a car I no longer had because this company took so long in paying off my loan. It s almost like they prolong everything so YOU can pay the loan down and they won t have as much to pay. Got hung up on by a customer service rep because quite honestly I was so emotional and fed up with the service they were providing. I had to worry about making the car payment because I didn t want to mess up my credit. It s something about this company that doesn t sit well with me. They are very shady.

If I can put zero stars, EVEN negative stars I wouldn't hesitate to do so. It's been almost 5 months since I sent over all docs requested per my end and so have the Lien holders for my vehicle. I've even resent the items 3-4 times. I had a total loss, which I was not at fault. & Yet they still chose to deny my gap claim lying through their teeth, saying I never sent anything over, when I have proof of "their technical issues" for supposedly not receiving my emails. All docs were sent before the 180 day deadline and still have the nerve to ask for an appeal letter too? Oh, and also to resend all proof. What a joke. Each representative I would speak to, including the manager Brian Roberts have been playing merry-go-round with the Lien holders and myself. They request proof and then say it's insufficient? What kind of joke is this. It's not like I'm requesting to pay my, out of the dealer 2019 BMW or Benz none of those high end vehicles. We're talking about a used vehicle 2017 Hyundai Elantra, with a balance of at least $2,000. I'm doing triple the work to get my coverage that I paid for & expected to have the date of my purchase. It seems like this "Corporation" only expects money but doesn't like to help their customers nor provide coverage. Looking for any excuse to not pay out. They used the date the lien holders RESENT docs for the third time as the date they received paperwork. Which was past the deadline. This is ridiculous and very infuriating. I've been with this debt longer than expected and can't even get another vehicle out of the dealer until the balance is cleared.

PLEASE DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY!!! AND IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A CLAIM WITH THEM TAKE MULTIPLE SCREENSHOTS AND NOTES OF WHEN YOU SEND THINGS OVER, OR CALL THEM OVER THE PHONE. THEY WILL DENY ANY COMMUNICATIONS WITH YOU UNTIL YOU SHOW THEM PROOF. TAKE PICTURES ON YOUR PHONE IF NEEDED.

I am now seeking legal advice with my attorney that has covered my accident and other two cases. In hopes that something may be ressolved with this 'appeal letter' being asked for.

My mom car was totaled out and I helped her with dealing with all that comes with it. This GAP insurance company is a joke. They do not care about anything at all by money. They make you run and run taking their time on getting this done, coming up with any reason to not pay any money. Than they don't even pay off the loan.
As you are talking to their workers they will talk over you, and even yell at you.
Don't not go with this company. They are so full of it.

This company is truly frustrating to work with. They don t let you know if or when they receive your paperwork. The don t bother to email you back or give you a call back. Their representatives are rude to another level. This is such a terrible company. I called to ask a question and they were telling me of 50 more problems wrong with my filing. It s like really!? If I pay for your services why aren t you doing YOUR job? My loss was in August. Here I am in December still paying for a car I don t have. They told me they cancelled my service contract , nope! I just got off the phone with them and negative. They didn t do that. They got a quote which is NOT canceling my service contact. Please people, DONT BELIEVE THAT FOUR STAR REVIEW. It s honestly probably someone who works for the company who wants to keep they terrible business open.

the only reason i give them one star is because i have to to be able to write this post. long story short TRUST EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE REVIEWS!!!! they are completely un organized , it took them over 6 months to pay off my gap claim , and i had to constantly be on their ass to do their job, i had to call them just to find out i was missing paperwork , when i asked them why they didn't reach out to me they said " we are a 3rd party company and we are'nt obligated to do so". they were just a NIGHTMARE ! im not sure how they still are in business

Horrible service! Good luck! You will need it. Just contact CFPB Consumer Financial Protection Bureau!!! Document every call and document sent. U need to hold the companies hand to ensure claim is processed or it will sit and die! Their business moto is to pretend no calls from Hyundai lender, allow docs received to sit until u force them to process, don t answer phones during business hours including receptionist and business is to collect your $$$ but avoid payments on claims. It s very extreme. Make sure when u send documents u call them. Then call again the next day for an update or the doc will sit for 1-3 weeks without processing. Can take almost six months to get payment. After that it s a paid charge off reported to your credit even if you continue making payments to the lender. Confirm it s 6 months that reports charge off, it could be earlier.

As stressful as the process was dealing with my vehicle being totaled I am extremely grateful I had GAP insurance with PAC. Any time I had questions your claims department was extremely helpful in guiding me in the right direction as to what information you guys needed from me/my lender. People need to realize that PAC cannot collect all the information they need to process the claim due to privacy laws, that s why it is up to us consumers to provide it to them. All you have to do is give them a call if you don t understand what they are looking for! Thank you PAC for all of your assistance with my GAP claim. Glad the process is over and I got what I paid for with you guys! Thank you!

I was very questioning regarding my accident after reading these reviews. Partners Alliance was nothing like what the reviews have mentioned. GAP insurance will always ask for many documents. As long as you have all the documents good to go and everything is organized, the claim will take 1-2 weeks. There service was good and they explained everything briefly. They took some time to reply to my emails but with COVID-19 I understand that there email volume might be more busy than usual. Great working with them. Would recommend to anyone. Just make sure to be organized and pile all documents needed. Always ask for updates.
