located in a very nice, quiet neighborhood, next to the park. Near the center, which is still easily accessible by tram. The beautiful and welcoming structure. The rooms are a bit small but well kept, and equipped with all comforts, including a nespresso coffee machine with free pods. Efficient room service, as well as the rest of the services. Staff polite, efficient but above all available in solving any problem, and always with professionalism and kindness. Really good.

Ok, but that's it. Not for people with reduced mobility, as there are steep stairs to reach the entrance, and several areas are only reachable via stairs

Correct hotel in a very quiet area a step away from the center. The rooms and furniture are a bit old and ask to be renovated. Otherwise it is a comfortable little pretentious hotel. The area has restaurants around and the tram in front, in 15 minutes walking you reach the center.

Nice location and nice view from room but the room size for normal room is pretty small.

Friendly staff hotel being refurbished so limited facilities at breakfast. I was only booked in for 1 night so okay. Bedroom was really comfortable and recently refurbished. I would stay again even whilst work being done and it will most likely be really good when refurbishment completed

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay, the hotel and rooms were clean and the place had a fresh, comforting smell.

We also ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and can't fault the service or quality in any way.

The only thing was, and we appreciate the situation given the central location, is that parking is not included, so one must pay to park his or her car and it's not so cheap.

Reasonably priced, ok hotel in a location which balances convenience and price. Would probably use again if the deal was good.

The hotel is in a perfect location for spending time relaxing in Vodelpark. It is a great location for walking to neighbourhood restuarants and local shopping. The rooms are small but clean and simple. The breakfast room is bright and offers a great simple European breakfast.

Nice hotel, friendly service and a pleasant location

Very disappointing, both in terms of hospitality and comfort. Unfriendly staff, poor cleanliness of bedding, care products (shampoo and body lotion) already used. Power failure and therefore impossible to use the devices in the room (fully automated), shower in the dark, elevator out of order with the suitcases and no one to inform or help us (I was hung up on the phone when I asked for more explanation).

Building really needs an update. The outside is unimpressive for a Park Plaza and the rooms are dated and there is so much wear and tear in the rooms. Staff is very friendly and the area is really great, but I had to give 2 stars because I accidentally left my fitbit watch in the room I stayed in - they handled this situation horribly. After calling the hotel 10+ times with no one having an answer to ask about it, I finally got told that they could not locate it. Nice present for one of the cleaning ladies!

A very nice quaint little hotel which is very different but feels homely. Good spread of breakfast.It's in a nice neighbourhood which is uptown but there are no supermarkets close by. Some good restaurants are present in the vicinity

The rooms are minimalist but we'll enough equiped with safe, hair dryer, TV, and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom is unusual: simply being glass panels around the facilities, not great for privacy as the walls don't reach the ceiling. The beds are comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had a small problem with a smelly drain which the staff saw to immediately. Over all, not bad, would probably stay again. 3*

my daughter stayed for two nights in the hotel, which smelled of cigarette smoke and not of reeds, with carpets that only you can imagine the state, but the serious thing that I was charged on my credit card AFTER I GONE FROM 'HOTEL AND TO MY UNKNOWN 300 euros because according to the owner he had smoked in the room, all SHOWN WITH PHOTOGRAPHS
At the entrance the owner demanded a deposit which was regularly returned on the date of the exit of the hotel, so the room had been left with verification that everything was perfect.
THEREFORE I RECOMMEND EVERYONE NOT TO PAY WITH A NORMAL CREDIT CARD BUT ONLY WITH A PREPAID CARD, OTHERWISE THE TRICK CAN ALSO HAPPEN TO OTHERS, and also the photographs that I could NOT see? and in what way were they made in our own opinion?

Excellent room, comfortable beds, and lovely friendly staff everywhere. There was nothing that was too much trouble for them! The only negative comment would be that really the bathrooms are like many Chinese bathrooms....no privacy!! I prefer a bathroom to be separated from the bedroom at least by something less see-through, and with a door that actually shuts (the last star would be earned if it did!!). There are certain things you don't want to share even with your nearest and dearest!! However, it did not dampen our enjoyment of our stay. The location is fabulous with the park within easy walking distance, and, of course, cycling distance!! Thanks to everyone!

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel last October, and have booked for new years this year with family, coming to party from south Africa. Can't wait!

Nice location, average room quality, some of the rooms have a sort of designer glass bathroom with the sink in the room which I found weird.

The Location isnt far from vondel park, literally a couple of minutes walk from the park. The area in which the hotel is in is lovely, scenic and well kept area. Its seems very classy with lots of shops and resturants near by. The tram location are ideal for travel as Line 2 is located right near the hotel which take you right through to amsterdam central. Rooms : The Room is of good size and very clean and modern. i have stayed in the king executive room which has a Big TV, Extra Large Bed, desk with high speed internet access, large lounge chair, espresso Machine, small fridge and lovely wet room area with impressive modern shower, sink, and toilet. The room also has a great air con system. Services : The hotel offers many services. The room services include from wake up calls, room service, breakfasts, personalised greetings and complimentary water, bath robes etc some of which is subject to room purchased. The hotel offers a Big buffet breakfast area which can be purchased with the room, purchased on the day/morning for a higher price or if you arrive an want breakfast for mornings to come if you pre book its cheaper than paying on the day. Euros can be exchanged at the hotel with a limit per room per day of 200 euros. bike rental looks apparent at the hotel but we have yet to inquire about this. There are Hotel bikes out the front of the hotel. Additionally there is a hand TV guest services A to Z which tells you about all of the other services. The hotel can also offer early or will try to help with early/ customised check in and check out times as best a possible. The Hotel enterance is stairs situated with a ramp small but may be able to be used for wheelchair access. Lifts are situated around the hotel and it looks like most areas are easy access. Maps, tourist tickets for the trams are available at the hotel. Additionally the hotel staff are very happy to assist with any other queries and help in any way possible.

Very nice and well kept hotel. Really friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean and had all the necessary amenities including a Nespresso machine and a kettle. The property is located in an elegant district of Amsterdam slightly outside the center but easily accessible by tram or walking. It is located near the beautiful Vondelpark park. It has a luggage room that allows guests to enjoy the city even after checking out. Recommended!

Super friendly and helpful staff, beautiful hotel. Breakfast in the morning was awesome! Everyone was willing to help you out with everything, especially when it came to sightseeing. The lady on the front desk was super helpful with directions, trams, places to go and things to see. Not too far away from the centre, but far enough to be nice and quiet. I would definitely come and stay again!

Just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough. Location was great, 5 minute walk from 2 tram stops that took you to Dam Square within 15 minutes or museum quarter in 5 minutes by tram or a picturesque 10 minute walk. The hotel is situated in a lovely area just on the edge of Vondel Park and within walking distance of some lovely boutique shops.
The room was clean and modern with fantastic facilities including an amazing shower, plenty of storage space, TV with Chromecast and British channels and the most comfy bed and I loved how you could adjust the lighting and heating via the control panel.
Staff very courteous and helpful, giving a map of the city on arrival and offering to help in anyway.
The hotel also had a fantastic looking restaurant and although I did not eat there it was always busy and the menu looked great and the food smelt amazing.
This was my 5th visit to Amsterdam but the first time at this hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

I found myself very well, a welcoming place and a kind staff. It is located in a beautiful area, quiet and close to the park which is gorgeous.

Very clean, nice rooms and beautiful shower! Has rain head in it and lots of room to move around! Restaurant in the hotel has excellent food and wonderful service. Breakfast was amazing!

Structure from the friendly and cordial staff (there is also an Italian inside), rooms not very large and at least in the one I booked, with an unpleasant smell due perhaps to a problem with the bathroom drains. To be reviewed.

Hotel does not live up to stands of Radisson nor the area it is in. Rooms smell terrible and carpet is stained. Bathrooms don't have proper walls.

Very welcoming staff when I arrived -- I think including a room upgrade I hadn't asked for. My room had USB sockets to charge phones (great) but no bath (boo). Breakfast was 12.5 euros -- not worth it to my mind, nice coffee but everything else seemed poor by UK standards.

Everything was in a great location and nice rooms! You can not go wrong as long as you keep your claims on the ground!

The hotel is okay and perfectly located. The rooms need some renovation as it's all a bit old and damaged. Bathroom needs to be refreshed too as the fungus is starting to grow in the corners.

The hotel has different buildings. The main building is terrible with old and dirty rooms. I complained as only new rooms were displayed on their website. They told me that we would have to upgrade to a superior room to get a modern one, but they did offer us a reasonable price increase to get the room. Once we got the new, clean and modern room, this hotel was very good! Very friendly staff too!

Great location in upscale area away from tourists. Lots of local food options within walking distance. The park is directly behind the hotel and a great place to explore. The hotel itself is long overdue for a refresh. The rooms vary in size so definately ask about your room when you check in and upgrade if possible to the building next door to the main hotel as there a 3 buildings total.

This hotel was a great one. Today is the best for me because my birthday is coming the next few hours 17 July 1968.
On a trip to Holland and the beautiful city of Amsterdam, I stayed at this beautiful and well-positioned hotel next to the park, offering delicious and varied food as well as quality breakfasts and plenty of variety and friendly staff. There were things that could be written, and I regret not to share this memorable experience with you, including one that was memorable for me as a hotel receptionist who had migrated from Afghanistan. The nobleman was a very nice and respectful person.

Well located, modern and perfectly equipped. Only strange that the staff apparently does not speak Dutch.

Nice setting, about 1 km from the museums and about 2 km from Dam Square, in the center. A little more could be done about cleaning, but all in all it is a good 4-star hotel

I stayed for 4 nights in this hotel from 15 to 19 August 2019
I had booked two adjoining rooms for the presence of small children and I was assigned two rooms one on the first and one on the sixth floor and it was not possible to change them.
But the icing on the cake was the fact that for two consecutive days the room was not cleaned and to my complaints they replied apologizing and telling me that at 6pm the cleaning ladies are leaving and that they could not have done otherwise. Honestly, something else is expected from a 4-star hotel.

Distant from all main areas.. reception itself blocked by huge pillars, rooms aren't roomy either..

Hotel got a face-lift a while back, it's lovely, greatly improved. Would recommend

The hotel is easily reached by tram, the rooms are not the best but now I do not know the rest of what's on offer. An immense natural park is very close to the Vondelpark.

The hotel was recently renovated, and it shows! Rooms are small, but very comfortable and equipped with nice accessories. The location is wonderful with easy walking access to Vondelpark and many restaurants. During our stay, the hotel staff was very helpful with arranging transportation, making recommendations, and even arranging tram tickets in advance. Thank you for a great stay!
