Good hotel very nice area friendly and considerate staff

Lovely welcome, nice clean rooms, amazing view on Vondelpark. Public transportation in front of the door. In the area there are plenty of nice restairants and cafe's

Nice clean room, comfy bed. In a nice area. The glass doors/walls to the bathroom is a little odd.

The property is conveniently located. Close to the tram stop from which you can get to the main attractions of Amsterdam. Very friendly service. I would recommend.

Nice Hotel with very helpful staff. The location is very convenient. Away from the City hazzle but still close to many good restaurants and easy and quick tram route to the City center. The Vondelpaark is One of the best things in Amsterdam and only a few steps from Hotel to park.

Nice polite staff, clean spacious room. Room service was above par. Cost was slightly excessive.

Despite our very late arrival around 11:30 pm the reception was very correct. Our very comfortable and pleasant room. Very classy hotel very pleasant staff. TO REMOVE

Room 351. View of the park. Functionally furnished room. Super made burger with fries. If you look for a quiet part of town, close to the museum and 11 tram stations from the headquarters super choice.

nice hotel, good value for money. some rooms are a bit smelly though. peculiar bathroom design - separated from the room by glass only. so if you're staying with someone you're not *really* close with, that might be a concern..

This is a beautiful concept 4 star hotel.
There are new motifs all over the hotel, so I asked the staff,
There are over 40 species of birds living in nearby Vondelpark,
They said that they designed a hotel with a small bird motif.

The museum is not far away, and you can walk around the park in the morning. It was the most memorable experience of this trip.

Overall, it's more expensive than the small and casual ones, but it's a good place to go with great staff.

We got an unexpected upgrade because they had run out of the type of room we had booked. Tried to use the room service for breakfast but our order wasn't collected as per the instructions. The hotel staff not only accommodated us late in the day, but they also made it complimentary. Really great service!

Neat rooms and a nice bar. Breakfast was good. Hotel is in a great location. From the outside not very nice, property does not fit in the neighborhood.

Really nice hotel with calm surroundings a little bit outside the centre of Amsterdam. The big park Vondelpark was just around the corner, perfect for morning walks! The staff was very service minded. The room and the cleaning had a good standard. We rented bikes from the hotel for 15 / 24h, I can really recommend that.

We have stayed at this Hotel three times in total, both in its previous vision & the new rebooted hotel. This is one of the nicest places to stay in Amsterdam, made up of amazing rooms centred about a Bird Theme. However, the staff are what really make your stay exceptional. They go above and beyond the call of duty, in our last visit the electrics shorted in our room & although this caused some issues with sleep that night, on our return the afternoon after, the electrics were back on & we continued to enjoy our stay.

The rooms are small for a basic room, but perfectly sum up Dutch Interior design, giving you a lovely place to lay your head at the end of the day. If you prefer a larger room, then pay that little more and you will be let down & get that little more room to relax in.

Placed right next to Vondelpark is also a massive bonus, as you can embrace the perfect summers days sitting in the park with the locals, as it s far enough out that it s now heaving with those from the Museum District. It s location allows you to escape the busy city centre, or to embrace the madness and have easy access to everything.

Breakfast offers a lot of choice, with a restaurant and bar serving enjoyable cocktails.

If not renting a flat, this is the perfect home away from home, embraced by the family that is created through the staff being extraordinary.

The location is amazing howecer it is an old building the structure is not functional when you have too many luggages.

The location is beautiful and very clean. 60 sec from the park. Tram line right outside the hotel that will take you into the city center, or a 30min walk if you prefer. Staff are amazing. Always willing to help. My only problem was the cleanliness. Kept finding blood stains on my bed sheets, even after having them changed.

Lovely staff. Very helpful. Clean rooms but terrible design. E.g. no hooks in bathroom. No privacy when having a no. 2. No problems for me but my wife couldn't use it. Good location.

Pretty decent place to stay. Well connected to the city and lots of restaurants around. 10 mins walk to the Van Gough museum. The property looks a bit old

After the renovation, the hotel is back as top 10 of my favourites in the Amsterdam.

Clean and efficient. It's quiet and is a perfect for a business trip.
