A brilliant high end entertaining Chinese restaurant. After 9:00 pm they had frequent entertainment from tap dancing, ball room dancing, singing etc. I'm a vegetarian and had a wide range of their selection of food. It was all delicious, not to spicy and still full of flavour. I highly recommend this for a special occasion.

Such a beautiful restaurant, the live performance of the band and singer made dinner extra exquisite, yet the food disappointed as there was nothing special apart from the brilliant apple cheesecake. Hats off to the waiting staff, best in the business.

The food is really disappointing. Does not worth the expensive price. However I really enjoyed the show and the cocktails (on the ground floor). Would recommend it only for its cocktails and show.

"decadent" Chinese restaurant with a French influence. It seems to be more about the decor (lots of curtains, heavy furnishings etc) than the food.
The food is very good, but very pricey for what it is and considering the competition they have elsewhere in London for high end Chinese food.
Staff are friendly and numerous.

The atmosphere and ambiance is very nice. Unfortunately the food and price isn t. Truffle rice felt a little burnt and very crunchy. The Spanish red shrimp, Sakura shrimp fried rice had an awful after taste. Other then that the Australian Wagyu beef was perfectly cooked but over seasoned with salt. The entertainment was really good. Was expecting a bill of 300 for 3 people but got a bill of 388. A bit over priced but a bit me time experience won t do no harm

Leaving a 1 star review because 0 was not an option. I have never been treated so poorly anywhere before. Staff was extremely rude and unaccommodating. Would not recommend to anyone. More concerned with status and appearance than serving a single individual with competence and decency.

Not so nice food and the dessert menu is poor and the decor is like a cheap budget wedding. The music needs help the lady singing is not great and the piano etc should be in a better position for all to see and the singer should sing all night or during certain hours not stopping and starting. The curtains on the ceiling and walls are gross. Staff should step aside when guest walking instead of walking into guests with big strays etc it's disrespectful. I dunno it's a manageable place to go but not worthy to be in a high end location at all. Needs work, hope my comments will help so I can visit again when it's improved.

Very elite and elegant restaurant! Must book in advance! Don't forget to book their pecking duck. The restaurant is very fancy and they have live band. Dress well if you coming here! Worth the experience!

So I think this place could be charming but it's missing something. The food is average when it should be amazing and the pricing is very expensive because it near Berkeley Square. I think they spent the money on the rent instead of the product.

It's an experience - very dark, loud music and performances. The food was nice but not "wow I have to come back", the service however was awful. We spent a lot of money and it does feel like a conveyor belt - get you out - get the next lot in - which I really dislike, especially considering the price of the bill...certainly wouldn't rush back.

Main points:

Main points:
1) we forgot to cancel in time and they showed no flexibility and told us we would be charged 100 unless despite us traveling
2) we decided to show up. Waitress recommended a few dishes which we quickly realized was all fried. We asked to change after 2 minutes of placing the order. She said she can t change the order
3) food was average at best

In summary I don t recommend. Very far from earning a single Michelin Star

Great experience.

Service is great

Do not forget the profiteroles at the end - delicious

If I could give half a star I would. Avoid this restaurant at all costs.

The staff at the entrance were very friendly. After that it went downhill very fast.

Our first waiter asked if I had any allergies.
I confirmed that I had a nut allergy. The first waiter came back to take our order but admittedly we weren t ready. A second waiter then took the order. I ordered the wasabi prawns and to surprise , when they arrived, I found that they were garnished with nuts. 1) why were they not labelled correctly on the menu 2) why did our first waiter not come back to take our order 3) how did they not update the system that I had a nut allergy?

The manager approached us and he kindly advised that the dish would be remade without nuts. This was a nice gesture but nothing less than I would expect in a restaurant like this. It took forever to eventually get food on our table but ok, the prawns were nice... just nice.
For mains we ordered stir fry wagyu which again was ok, and mango chicken which was terrible. Possibly the worst chicken dish I d ever eat. It was the type of food that you d expect in wagamama. Dessert was ok, but over hyped.

To summarise - very very poor service, waiters not attentive, they seem like they don t enjoy working there, the nut mixup could have been fatal and the food is well below average. It may well be the worst restaurant in the area. Not a scratch on restaurants like Novikov and China Tang on Park Lane.

Most decadent Peking Duck in town. Team it up with caviar if you wish. Gorgeously luxurious ambiance, wonderful service. Spoilt for choice on exquisite Chinese specialties. Extensive wine list. Live jazz music. Quite a fantastic night out!!

We came here for an Anniversary dinner and had a slightly mixed experience. The main selling point of the place is the presence of live music during your meal, inspired by the Shanghai clubs of old. This was clearly the best aspect of the night. We first enjoyed an instrumental set by the band (Four Clouds of Joy - piano, drums, double bass, violin), and then a couple of very nice sets by Diva Amy with the band. It does make it a special experience. Other elements were mixed - not all tables have a good view of the band. If that's important to you, request a suitably located table. We liked a table further away from the band but which had side by side seating for the two of us, giving us both a view. The food itself was not hugely remarkable. The egg rice was similar to the standard you could get from a humble restaurant like Gold Mine on Bayswater - nice but probably not what they were going for! We had that with Japanese aubergine and tofu (the tofu was nice, the aubergine pretty tasteless). The Park Carbonara was visually stunning and reasonably tasty. Service was hit and miss - our main waiter, Alex, was very friendly, but others were less so. It feels like the place had a surplus of waiters, many of which were not too sure what to do. The bathrooms are worth a visit - seriously opulent decor.

I went there a week ago for my 30th birthday and I was really disappointed by the quality of the service. If the atmosphere is nice and the food alright the service is AWFUL. Long story short the waiter was arrogant and not professional, he didn't apologize after overthrowing a bottle of water on my father's pants, and the reception manager couldn't explain me how they lost my girlfriend's coat. They could have offered us a drink while waiting for an hour and a half for the coat or a ride back to home but they didn't..
They ruined my night and I felt embarrassed for my friends who traveled to be with me for this special occasion.
Trust me, there are much better places in London especially in Mayfair. AVOID IT
PS : They were supposed to call me and to offer me a compensation, I'm still waiting their call..

I don't want to make this about the cost, but it is about the cost. I actually give it 2 stars as the staff were highly attentive. Otherwise it would have only received 1 star. This is not authentic Chinese food, though the dim sum was good. However, to have a bill for 2 people come to $390 quid, which included 2 x dim sum starters,(good, but the har gow was overcooked, the shui mai was excellent as was the truffle dumpling,) soft shell crab (not very good, used old oil) wasabi prawns (why deep fry first? the sauce was very good and that would have been enough,) the bavette of beef, (so sweet, so Western such as shame as the sauce overpowered the lovely meat,) and stir fried bok choi (best dish we decided.) We had 1 bottle of wine, Chablis, one of their cheapest wines, at 139 quid, 3 cocktails and water. This was insane. The atmosphere is very charming, they spent a lot of money on the design, but the live music was intrusive and actually was not mentioned that we would have to pay an entertainment charge of 10 quid a head! This really annoyed me. They also tacked on a 15% service charge. I will never return, it wasn't worth the money. Go for a drink in the bar if you want to see the place, but please go to Tang's at the Dorchester for authentic Chinese food, or to the Royal China in Queensway. Unless you are an Arab Sheik on holiday and/or you think you want to be "seen", then don't waste your time and money. And honestly there was no one there to see you, the restaurant was half empty. Which honestly says it all....

Absolutely gorgeous atmosphere- draped walls, sophisticated, staff was professional and communicative. The dumplings were excellent- fresh and flavorful. The duck salad- what?! Insane. Honestly, there wasn t anything that wasn t absolutely delicious. Not sure if being there for a small corporate event had anything to do with it, but I ll dream of this place for some time. Downstairs bar and entertainment was on. Beautiful people, gorgeous cocktails. Will definitely return.

Really great restaurant at the epicenter of London s leisure:lots of bars and restaurants. But this one is so great! They have two floors. The upper floor has all seating tables. The lower one has some tables around a performing space where there are great singers. During our visit, someone was singing Rihanna and it really felt it was just her! But the music is so loud, you can hardly hear the person next to you. It is great to have some drinks after diner. We wanted a little bit quiet diner so we moved upstairs.

Food is not as delicious as it should be. We have only been able to eat after 23 although the place was not that packed. Isn't worth the price for me. (But I have more or less the same opinion for Mayfair in general)

What a magical night. I was greeted with a flurry of hellos from every waiter we passed upon arrival and all waiters seemed extremely hospitable and cheerful. We were seated immediately by a very charming head waiter. The service was non intrusive, and very prompt. Food was delicious...the Cantonese duck was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and I recommend the Mother of Pearl as a drink. The decor is so rich, it reminded us of a 1920s theater. Upon leaving, I recieved a goodbye from every single staff member. We were visiting from the United States, and this night is a memory that makes me want to return here and take another trip to London! The staff really makes people feel special.

Dim sum was nice but overpriced. Wagyu gyoza was good and probably the only thing worth it. Noodles and chicken overpriced and a bit bland. Service was poor, had to wait 10 minutes for water, I even held the glass up in the air and nobody would come after 10 minutes. The music was super loud and we were about 2 metres behind the drummer, gave me a huge headache. Extra star is for the manager who was nice and understanding and the M&S close which we got Percy Pigs from

What a restaurant! What an experience! This has to be hands down one of London's best fine dining Chinese restaurants! From the moment you walk in it feels like you've entered a different era, the decor and ambience is designed with a classic and sophisticated feel. The most stunning is the bars (upstairs and downstairs) and the toilets. This restaurant is notorious for having celebrities dine in house, it is one of London's hotspots. The food here is outstanding and is taken care of and carefully thought of. The best is the Peking Duck, it is served in the traditional way (not the gimmicky crispy aromatic duck). The restaurant also has day and night entertainment, whether it is a smooth jazz singer or a full on show. It is quite hard to get evening reservations, but quite easy for lunch. Their set menu is well priced and portions are acceptable. 100% recommended.

Where do I start? The service at the door was very friendly and welcoming, the staff are very lovely and professional. We went down to the bar whilst we waited for our table which didn t take too long. The ambience was incredible, beautifully decorated place and a lot of quality was put into this incredible place! It was very picture perfect! . The food was absolutely astonishing! I could not fault it in the slightest, probably the best I ve ever had and that speaks volumes as I dine out a lot. The entertainment was incredible, very talented performers and really set the overall atmosphere for the restaurant to a very high standard. The service was fantastic, our waiter was very attentive and efficient. Overall, this place is worth every penny! Highly recommend for an incredible night of delicious food & specular entertainment.

In the ongoing battle for the unofficial title of London s most decadent restaurant, Park Chinois is up there. It opened in 2015 on Berkeley Street, surrounded by swanky neighbours (Nobu, Hakkasan Mayfair, Benares, Sexy Fish), and became an instant hit with Mayfair s glittery jet set. The bar is the first port of call, lined with red-velvet stools and manned by handsome mixologists in tuxedos. In the dimly lit dining room, Salon de Chine, the walls are covered in thick swathes of red and gold silk and, in the evening, a jazz band sets up right in the middle of the tables. The tinkling piano and glamorous singer make the whole experience feel like you re on an impossibly smart Twenties train journey where a murder could, at any point, take place. We suspect, though, the music also helps draw in Park Chinois s long list of famous regulars it s hard to eavesdrop through supper over the sound of a jazz quartet. Downstairs, the members club atmosphere is taken a step further in Club Chinois, where each evening live dancers and gymnasts perform every few minutes.

Lovely venue, great entertainment (which we were unaware that we had to pay separately on the bill per person) with decent food.

However they had me and my wife stand at the bar whilst we waited for our reserved table for 15 mins. The bar tenders within the 15 mins avoided eye contact to order drinks.

When we finally got to the table it took 30 mins to order food. Apart from one of two lovely waiters, one by the name of Chris Lee who was entertaining and extremely hospitable. The other being a white bald chap helping with the drinks. The rest of the service was less than satisfying. Food was good but the service left a sour taste in all honesty.

There was also a lovely, stylish bald chap who welcomed us both and complimented us on arrival. The rest of the staff could do with learning a thing or two from the three mentioned above. I dont think we will be coming here again

Club Chinois is a loud, tacky experience and on requesting a move upstairs the reception man did not show any interest, instead forcing us to eat at the bar. The vibe should be clarified up front and for the price paid some care from staff is expected.

The ambiance and decoration of this restaurant is gorgeous and modern. All dishes are delicate and taste really nice and authentic. The crab soup is bit sweet than expected, but I will still give five-star experience.
During the lunch time they also arranged Chinese Lion Dance, probably due to Chinese Spring Festival.

The first time we ve been there was very good, but unfortunately one year later we came to celebrate a birthday but it was a disaster.
Start when we arrived at the time of the order we made and it s took more then one hour for to actually get the table.
Continue in the atmosphere that was definitely not shanghai in the mid 20s but more like a strip club in the 90s and I really try to understand what people are enjoying that because at some point I truly wanted to vomit.
And as for the food when everything around you is so bad even the best chef in the world can t save you but that wasn t even the case because it was a greasy, sweet and tasteless food.
Good thing they have some nice alcohol so it made us just laughing about the situation and tell ourselves that from time to you go to a restaurant with high expectations and they just fell to perform.
For conclusion it s a fine restaurant that in one year turn to a slizy strip club.

Excellent drinks, food, vibe and ambiance. The brunch deal is great - plenty of food and plenty of drinks. I loved the dimsum platters and the Hakka paneer. The dessert was decadent and delicious, highly recommend the dark chocolate cake. Service was really good, and they did an excellent job of topping up our champagne without prompting. All in all, an amazing dining experience, and I will definitely be back!

Visited here for our anniversary, the food was ok, love the atmosphere and decor however we was very disappointed with the waiter service, very very rude, unhelpful and obnoxious, a reminder that they are serving us and do not own the restaurant as this was how they acted, as though they were far too important to be waiting on us, I shall also be leaving a review on trip adviser where I will certainly not be recommending this establishment, awful experience!

Very expensive!!! With the exception of the truffle dish- which is excellent - the food here is good yet only marginally better than some of the excellent and far less expensive dim sum restaurants in Soho. Lunch is a decent value if you go for the set menu. The restaurant and the service, however, are exceptional. The restaurant interior decor is beautiful.

Step into the 1930's! Incredible decor and fantastic food. The downstairs features great entertainment if you can manage to get a reservation. Sit at the upstairs bar and talk to Raffial the bartender and mixologist extraordinaire!

Went for a dinner, sort of a nightclub experience with loud music and several live performances (dance).

Food was good and served in an adequate time.
I recommend checking out the bathrooms too, as they are decorated quite interestingly.
Dress code is smart / smart casual, although I don t thing you will get in trouble with casual clothing as this how I showed up.
Overall a nice place but 4 stars for loud music and unreadable menu due to the absence of light.

The ambiance at Park Chinois is buzzing and lively. When you enter the restaurant you know they care to transform you into the 1930s. From the uniform of the staff to the decor - it is almost like Chinese version of the moulin rouge. Being a very vegetarian friendly place, specially for Indians (as they even offer Paneer) there is more than enough selection on the menu. As we were just two of us, we had to pick our favourites. I am hoping to go back in a larger group so we can try out many more dishes.

Park Chinois is a great restaurant, the food is delicious, the staff are friendly.
The only thing I don t like is the loud live band music and the fact that they are implementing an entertainment charge.
I find this unsuitable as I come to enjoy the food and not the music and would hope that they have this as an optional charge instead of mandatory.
Other than that it s a great place to eat and celebrate and you have to try the Peking duck.

Simply amazing experience. The duck was simply brilliant. The recommended wine needed a bit more time to breathe but that was more our fault as we didn't have the patience. The entertainment is brilliant fun and if you are bold enough, you can join in the dancing at the end. Tough to get a booking but you can understand why once you do manage to secure one.

Was at Park Chinois yesterday for the launch of their new brunch menu, which was fantastic. We went for 3 full courses. The food was absolutely delicious, an incredible array of dishes beautifully prepared and served by friendly and attentive staff. Park Chinois has amazing decor, live DJ and it was busy so there was a really good vibe all round; altogether a really enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend!

I recently came to the restaurant for our anniversary. We got to the restaurant on time, however the table we had booked wasn't ready for us, so we waited at the bar and had a drink. Initially it took a long time to get our order taken. To get a member of staffs attention wasn't easy. We seemed to be waiting an eternity to make drinks orders or order main course or even for the bill, which we waited 15 minutes for anyone to ask, and a further 15mins for it to arrive. For a restaurant which charges top dollar, I was underwhelmed by the food and service, however I can understand it was a Saturday Night and the restaurant was busy.

Came here for lunch during their soft-launch. The decor is interesting; at the main bar, I felt like I was in a Cafe Rouge, but the dining area was a little better. They have a piano in the centre of the restaurant and during lunch a performer on a guitar which I remember as being quite annoying. The toilets made me think of Liberace's bathroom, with the excessive use of gold trim! Food-wise, we opted for the dim sum which was pretty standard, not amazing (Royal China Club on Baker Street still holds the crown for best gourmet dim sum I've had).

Just an overly decorated restaurant with average level of food and service. However, you re paying way above average prices. Some of the dim sum ingredients were not even hand made just delivered or bought off the shelf...that s kind of unexpected for this price level. There was really nothing interesting for me even to take a picture for. I m being picky but at a Chinese restaurant serving tea for lunch shouldn t the water be hot at least. It was warm at the very best and most of the time we had to ask for the water to be refilled and had to prepare the tea ourselves. What was really funny was how they served with wooden chopsticks in an upscale Chinese restaurant??? I thought i walked into a sushi bar. Get the details right and I think this place would be worth a visit but at these prices I would forget it. Can see why it s quite empty even during lunch hours.

How demeaning of an experience we were made, to have. The obnoxious host who wears the silly hat at the door kept 'joking at how much money we've taken out and if it'll be enough to spend in the eatery. First of all you're rude and shouldn't be able to speak to customers that way, we visit there sadly you work there. Secondly please don't think just because you're teeth are veneers you're anything special because to have veneers done clearly your teeth were ugly, where's ours is natural. Never going back there and we spent a far better time in Nobu and other venues around the Westend.
