Visit to Parc Safari on August 8, 2017.
2 children aged 4 and 6 and 3 adults.

Waiting for the ticket office in our minivan, we are offered to change lanes since the luggage rack on the roof may not pass under the roof of the ticket office. 2 employees are asked to inform us of the maximum height of a vehicle that can pass under the roof of the ticket office. No employee has the information. No display indicates the maximum height for a vehicle.

Auto Safari.
The sign at the entrance indicates that the usual duration for the route is 45 minutes and that the current duration is 45 minutes. None of the animals, apart from the ostrich, ate kibble. An employee whipped our vehicle while trying to move an animal. No one is responsible for ensuring that vehicles in the left lane are operated as recommended. Result, 1h45 for a course which was to take 45 min. Obviously, we would have chosen to do other activities and return to the car safari later if the information at the entrance had been adequate.

2:30 p.m. Birds of prey shows. Total duration of less than 10 minutes. For your information, Mont Tremblant offers a similar show of more than 30 minutes. Nothing to do with the quality and duration of the show.

Unhealthy toilets and many out of order.

Snacks of lions. Total duration, 3 minutes (and I am generous over the duration).

Africa platform. It's 6 p.m. and we still have our damned boxes of Safari kibbles that your animals have been sulking all day. Maybe we should think about stopping selling it or changing the recipe. People end up throwing them anywhere. Miraculously, my son managed to touch a giraffe while another visitor fed it with bananas, celery and other fruits. We go to the disinfectant distributor to follow the recommendations of Parc Safari. Obviously, the dispenser is empty. Like everyone else for that matter.

Tube descent (tripe). $ 6 to wade in 2 feet of water of questionable quality. And what about the traces of rust strewn along the route. At the exit, another of your employees, more interested in impressing his colleague than in paying attention to visitors, drives at top speed in a golf cart and passes far too close to my children. No problem, he is very good.

Visit the reptile pavilion. Interesting but several vivariums are empty. The exit obligatorily passes by your shop. Ah yes! This is the only place on your site where we were able to disinfect our hands, your distributor was not empty!

Small dolphin lagoon sauce. It is 6:10 p.m. and the lagoon must close at 6:30 p.m. We can know because it is posted at the entrance and your employees make it clear to us with their silly looks when they see us. Not a smile or a hello. Here however we are very strict on the closing time. 6:26 p.m., the water games are closed (don't worry about my watch, it works very well, it's a GPS / satellite watch with formidable precision).

For the first time today, we can see employees picking up trash from the floor.

We are heading to your new inflatable play facilities. Bravo, it is successful. At the top of the slide with my daughter, an employee requests that the access to the slide be closed. It is 6:56 p.m. Real professionals!

End of the day.
It was our last visit. An unpleasant customer experience focused on profit and starvation, a messy and totally outdated site, an entry price that does not correspond to the quality of the facilities, mostly immature, demotivated and unsupervised employees and an atmosphere overall hay spit strewn with I don't care.

To avoid, totally.

Park safari is a good place for kids and adults alike. The fact that you can interact with the animals along the way is what makes this place what it is. Generally the animals are all very friendly and don't shy away from people.

I do wish that there were more staff supervising the park and ensuring the safety of animals because on my few visits there I had noticed visitors feeding animals food that could be potentially harmful and toxic to them and there wasn't much monitoring going on.
I tried to report this to administration at the park and they didn't seem to take my complaint seriously which to me reflected how they care for the animals.

Amazing! We came all the way from Edmonton to visit here and we were not disappointed! Better than any zoo we've been too here in the west.
The park is large enough to spend a whole day, even 2 if you really take your time (we came with a family of 5).
The staff were friendly and helpful wherever we went. Tons of things to see and do for kids of all ages.

I do highly recommend bringing your own picnic as you can surely expect high prices and low quality food.

Particular as a place.

Particular as a place.
The wait is always exaggerated, to access the site or the restaurants.

People respect the instructions and there is little supervision. All this to the detriment of other visitors.

I have been to Granby a few times. I wanted to do different ... I had to try.

Overpriced and not much to see. Only local animals, with a few exceptions. If you like to see camels, camels and camels, this is the place to go. They sell you food that the animals do not want to eat. Drive through really not worth the money. The lion section is nice, as well as the amusement park. Not worth the money.

A little expensive for animals super with the auto circuit we can feed. Do not bring carrots as a vegetable, it is forbidden.
For the inventory many things must be repaired or renovate for swimming pools very worn concrete. For 2018 we were promised a lot of renovation to be monitored.

Very disappointed.Several areas of closed (but we still pay the price at the entrance) .No warning on the site or at the entrance.La very dirty wave pool.Manquait antibacterial distributors ... and many more.
The only good thing is the surveillance near the pools of water. The staff was sufficient and their business.

Just came back from a beautiful day at Parc Safari.
Not too sure what anyone could possibly complain about or why they would give a bad review. Beautiful and clean park, amazing exotic animals, and friendly staff, My husband and 3 year old son had a wonderful adventure.
When you get to feed a giraffe carrots out of your hand, have camels around your car, and see lions/tigers walk above you in a glass tunnel, how could you possibly let the little things ruin your trip ?

Have 2 days and 1 night in 1 coolbox.

Have 2 days and 1 night in 1 coolbox.
Clean coolbox, quiet area.
Very friendly animators.
We did a car and African plain circuit, beautiful animals all that was missing was the elephant ... it will be for next time :)

Not happy. When we went there nothing was on schedauel. The lion feedings were not at the right time. One of the pool area was closed. It also needs to be updated beacuse the floor looks realy gross. My wife asked about when the girrafe were finished she was told 5. We got there at 400 to be told it was closed we bought food for it. Not happy the guy was rude. When i facebooled them they didnt seem to care. Bad custumer service save your money go else where

L: wait to enter the park was long almost an hour and a half then the car tour hell not a lot of animals we couldn't wait to get out of the and then the water slides for children I was not allowed to to be to catch my little ones because I was wearing jeans shorts yet they had veils and others with t-shirts means that the next visit to the Zoo will not be at Safari Park .......

I find that it is not very well maintained, with the price of them should offer at least two boxes of food. The inflatable games are not very practical they are placed on the wood chips but the children are without shoes so they have pain to walk and the pavement on the side was very hot. At the beginning of the summer I had listened that the pratouille leg would be at the safari park all the summer and I showed up yesterday at the Park and I was announced that they were there in the month of June only (after manage with two little hyper disappointed). The meals offered are not super health. There are no water terminals everywhere. The employees do not really know. I am deeply disappointed.

Read all the restrictions on the website following the COVID because this year, despite an opening, it remains a disappointing experience. The entrance fee is not reduced and yet everything is less. We cannot open the windows, otherwise at 2 inches, we cannot feed the animals, nor approach them, the water park is two-thirds closed, in the feline tunnel, we must wear a mask, in this heat wave period, it was very painful. To end this tour, we watched bears and wolves and frankly their habitat leaves a lot to be desired. When you see what is done in a young zoo like the Miller Zoo, Safari Park should be inspired by it! Shaded areas, large water points, rocks, relief, enrichment for animals, well in short, it smacks of the park in financial difficulties, however, many, many staff who seem downright idle!

Best part was the driving segment. Feeding the animals was so much fun, even as adults! The animals were cute and respectful; no one ever felt in danger. If you really want to have a good time bring a bunch of lettuce and carrots from the store on the way there.
The "promenade" section was a little less exciting but had some memorable moments like the feline tunnel and feeding the giraffe. Their demonstration times didn't coincide with our day and the one we caught was just an info session. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the animals and their collective goal is to eventually release them back into the wild. I'm not a fan of zoos but this I can agree with.
Overall we had a great time and it was a perfect way to spend the day away from the city. If you have kids or are big kids at heart, this is the place for you!!

This is a super park for those who want to see animals and relax at the same time. Here you can stay for the whole day with children. there are enough areas for recreation, as well as a small water park. We arrived at about 10:30 on Saturday and already there was a queue of cars 2 km long at the entrance to the park (

It's correct. I find that there are not many animals ... On the other hand, the terrace for the observation of giraffes is really good. I also liked the glass tunnels for the lions.
My 5 year old daughter loved the little water slides. The cleanliness of the toilets leaves much to be desired.

It's a great park to spend a day with the kids. There is definitely more to do there than you can in one day, which makes it perfect for having multiple visits through out the summer that are unique. Here are few ideas: you can bring a picnic with you, including BBQ -- charcoal/gas is permitted on the park grounds; you can take a drive in the car around the safari space and see and feed many animals that come to your car as you drive around; you can spend time in the water park -- there are two offering multiple slides, splash pads and pools; you can walk around to see many different animals, ride ponnies or camels. It can get packed, but not to the point when it's crazy.

Great place for a special outing with the kids. However, as in all zoos avoid going there if it is very hot because the animals hiding from the heat we see much less. Also, driving with COVI isn't as much fun anymore because we can barely open our windows and can't feed the animals.

Nice visit to the safari park. Tunnels of lions and tigers are really popular places. I found that the site lacked love since our last visit. Some wood infrastructure needs to be refreshed. The site of some animals such as monkeys seem abandoned. However the deer trails were very successful in a natural site (see photo). Disappointed also from the safari car circuit. Much less animals circulating around cars. Some animals are now reserved for those who pay for the safari truck ride. Positive point: we now give lettuce to feed the animals and refuse the carrots.
