Site that lacks love ...
Animals; where are the giraffes and others ???
Just qq sorts all similar kind antelope and camels in freedom ...
Next time; Granby
Very good Zoo. Plan ahead since new rules are in place.
We cannot feed the animals. Covid-19 requires but despite less experience the price does not have it.
Animals didn't seem very well taken care of.. drive thru was decent, but the lion, tiger and wolf enclosures are disgustingly small... very lazy animals and I assume because of the lack of space that they had, was not very impressed with the experience. Not going back.
beautiful park with lots of animals! But do not go with a new car because animals can damage!
Super busy day. We loved it. The staff are present and courteous. He is available to answer our questions.
We have fed several animals and the wave pool is good for cooling off.
There is only the safari by car which is a bit complicated because some people block the 2 lanes to feed the animals, so it is impossible to move a little faster (there is the left side view to observe and sees it on the right to stop and feed the animals). But that's not the park's fault.
Had a fun time at this place. Most people are reasonable and not part of the covid cult. Much better than venues in the city where people are obsessively washing hands and scared to come with in 20 feet of you. 4/5 stars because some parts of park are closed due to the china flu mass hysteria.
Great experience. Bringing lettuce is a good idea if you want to feed the animals that can be feed. Brought radish leaves too and the deer were able to tell it's not as good as lettuce. The Bush car safari is good if you don't want to drive your car through the safari expedition. Lions were amazing. Too bad the waterpark tube slides were still under construction though.
It lacks more actrasion more animals, the pool water is too cold, a heater would not be bad and more food center, with more options. For the price they offer little.
Really great but once is not enough to fully see everything. Small advice to plan well the visit like its less time lost
Call before coming if you have questions, do not trust Facebook. Lack a little communication between the departments, but very nice experience.
Awesome you drive around and see animals uncaged camels and giraffe come up to the car where you can touch or feed them also you can walk and see the cage animals like lions tigers bears and others and they have three different water parks with activities for everyone for toddlers to adults with lots of restaurants to Great Park just outside of Montreal
Half the stuff was closed due to covid but they charged full price. 120$ for me the wife and my 3y old daughter. On top of that a camel ate my mirror and they told me i have to pay for it and didn't even apologize. The security personnel filled up an unreadable accident report and told me to call my insurance if i want to.
Nice site but right now they are under renovation and they do not say so, so many things that are not open as a water slide, pool ect. A little disappointed because my little girl wanted to see the patrol and no nothing more yet they say that are there all the month of June
The animals seem very well treated, it was very pleasant and the animators answered our questions nicely. The site is very clean and he lion's den is amazing!
We had a blast! The safari expedition is amazing. We get so close to the animals. And the new waterpark is awesome and still more to come by next season!
Don't even bother wasting your money coming here. If the animals are what you're after, there aren't much. The quality of their living quarters are poor and the staff looks like part timer students who are playing at a park. You will, however, appreciate some of the animals that you can get close to and feed.
There is so much work that it feels like downtown Montreal ... and the website says nothing about the work and the fact that the water park area is 3/4 closed ... Very disappointing ..
Great place to take your kids. the car safari is really fun but remember to bring your own carrots and lettuce. The larger animals seemed to enjoy that more than the food you get from the park. The park is a good size and their are lots of things to see. You also get to enjoy the water park and lazy river (you pay 2$ extra per person for this). Enjoy!
The park it self is great, there are a lot of animals, and you will definitely get the chance to feed some of them.
But frankly the price is quite expensive, but what makes it worst is the extras that you will have to pay here and there, especially that you have to pay them cash.
For example food for the animals is extra and you have to pay cash.
Another example tubing in the small river is not included and you need to pay extra, and it is only cash.
And if you don't have cash you have to withdraw on a generic ATM where of course you will have to pay an extra fee.
Here are some tips.
1. Bring your own bottles of water.
2. Bring cash, you will need it.
3. Come early and spend a day to get your money worth.
4. Bring your own snacks.
Enjoy your trip
The experience wasn't as impressive as expected. I was disappointed about several missing animals, especially tigers, my favorites. Going on a sunny summer day is a bad idea since there is almost no shade, especially in the zone "Africa" where the most interesting animals are. The pool is small and the waves pool is ridiculously small and not very effective. The slides are good and fun, probably the best part of the the whole place. Finally, the staff is very nice and friendly, especially in the water slides zone.
The animals are really cute we want to adopt them all! (except wild beasts ...)
We waited 45 minutes by car before we could pay and enter the site. No toilet available during this wait. Several soap dispensers in the toilets are empty. I have not seen any functional purel dispenser. They were all empty. We visited the Africa section and went on a safari tour. Again, no toilet close. Lack of staff in the family restaurant, waiting to order, wait for our meal and our bill. The oasis is not functional, but they told us the rest were functional. And no, the little downhill trip was closed. I loved the safari tour. The site is clean.
The safari is great, but the site is under renovation for the water games .. we will return for sure.
We loved the lions paddock and the safari drive !!!
I was expecting more ... If we had not spent at least an hour in the car arriving to see some animals, I think we would have done the tour in two hours maximum ... It's expensive for so little I find.
Amazing place for family outing! Kids would love it!
However sometimes, there are people without maners always throwing food at animals or making fun of them... sad.
Recommend going on a hot day so after safari tour, could go to hit the waves and floating on the "river".
NB: Bring celery, lettuce, or any green vegetables, NO CARROTS ARE ALLOWED.
, very beautiful zoo you can walk by car to feed the animals I really appreciated
7 years ago was a great place for my kids!! today it dropped down to be just a business that selling tickets and animal's food to fill their pocket of customer's money !!
not going to go back there again for sure!!
I m giving two stars only because the car ride was really great. I haven t been to parc safari from since the 90. Always went to Granby zoo which is excellent. What disappointed me with parc safari is not being able to use the bathroom because of four toilets were blocked and overflowing with poop. I can understand it happens but after 1 and a half hour it was still the same. Not being able to go we went to another one which the toilet seats were cracked and all the toilets were very disgusting. It doesn t take much money to have at least a couple of employees to check the toilets frequently. And a little paint job in the wave pool and other areas will make people less disgusted to go in. I m disappointed and won t go back. Unfortunately all the people I talk to won t go either. It s a shame.ill stick with Granby zoo.
Fun day! The only downside is that the wave pool and the like was under renovation until June 23, so the children were disappointed.
Very few animals. Poorly maintained enclosures. Disappointing wave pool. No more rides. No animation. A lot of walking to see not much. The site does not announce the construction and the places that are closed. They charge us full price despite all the inconveniences. The park seems abandoned and has nothing to do with what it was 10 years ago ...
Disappointing! Lack of pools / water games. We do not have the right to give carrots but the animals want to know nothing about the food we bought from the Park or any green vegetables so they do not come to our car.
Honestly for $ 114.00 2 adults and 2 children plus we have to pay a surplus for the safari jeep 40.00 and the animals are not so hungry so feeding them is hard. In addition with all refections full of things to see or activities not available they should have done a different price. Almost no toilets on the foot circuit all located near the entrance, we feel that with young people from 3-4-5-6 years retain it well is not so obvious a big lack in my opinion.Personnellent j will not go back anytime soon!
Whoever put 4 or 5 stars they are arranging to give good reviews cars in park is really disappointing and annoying lack of investment go to montbello his casiment the same thing omega park also flat
We had a great time in both the zoo and the water park. We will definitely visit again.
At the safari park:
I noticed that your boxes of animal food say not to throw them in the trash but to recycle them to help animals but unfortunately nowhere on your park sites there are recycling boxes for its boxes there all world put them in the trash which is really sad considering that you demonstrate that you are not there for the animals and you are an animal park. I saw recycling bins but only for cans. Super sad I don't think I'm going back to your park just because of that I don't encourage places that do nothing for the environment especially when you indicate the opposite on your food boxes.
Make sure to go all the way to the end of the zoo,.to the deer forest. You can feed the deer and they come right up to you. The closest I'll ever feel to snow white!
A great drive through and walk through experience. I found it a little expensive though (~$140 for family of 4). The glass tunnels for the lions and tigers was cool. They also have a great waterpark.
I'd recommend arriving before 11:00 am. By the time we got there all the keeper/enrichment events were over for the day.
We get a season pass every year. Water park is great for kids of all ages
Really very nice for family activities because you can feed the animals on your hands and there is also a car route but do not go with your Porsche brand new and may have some scratches after because the animals are Walk all around your car and the most expensive come inside to beg for food, it's a great experience for kids and there are also many other attractions but bring you a good budget just to be able to try everything because several things are not included in the price of entry and the souvenir shop is profitable Loll but this activity your moving !!! And there are several vineyards in this region so plan a minimum of a full day !!!
Park no animals, restaurant close, construction area, poor cleanliness, brown water in wave pool ... etc, etc ...
I do not recommend.
Disgusting place and terrible service. Will not be going back
Nice safari with loads to do and see. Plus a water park
Disgusting service, actually no service. Staff is unhelpful and unprofessional. Waste of time and total disappointment.
Very long to access the park. To see the animals was good. The pool for the older kids looked a bit messy. For the car tour it was still good but he didn't have a lot of free animals and many of them looked dehydrated.
A very nice place to spend a day with the family, I recommend that you go early to enjoy everything since it is very large, the pool area is small,
Very nice place to go with the kids even in this covid weather
Lots of farm stuff due to covid, impossible to feed or touch animals
So so...not as good as expected, not as good as Beijing Zoo
Great place. The kids loved it. 1 bit expensive especially if you want to participate in the extras but we will surely return next year!
NOTICE TO ALL PARENTS OF A DISABLED CHILD UNDER 12 YEARS OF AGE !!! INJUSTICE AT THE SAFARI PARK !! My second child is called Georges, he is severely autistic and non-verbal. As soon as we leave the house, it requires 1 to 1 supervision, because it has no notion of danger, it is constantly looking to save itself, etc. Yesterday, I decided to please my children and go to PARC SAFARI. Being alone with the 4, I hired a specialized educator so that she could follow Georges. Children with disabilities have the right to have a companion free of charge in the vast majority of public places. Every year I go there and it is so ... Yesterday, to my great surprise, I was refused the right to my guide ... I therefore asked to speak to a superior since it is a right recognized ... After 30 minutes of stubbornness and Georges who was in crisis, I had to pay the entrance fee for the guide. Indeed the Safari park says that one must have the VATL card to be entitled to this "privilege" (can we really call it a privilege?!?!) However, do you imagine that this card cannot be obtained. have before the child is 12 years old ... It is as if my child was not disabled enough before 12 years old! It's illogical ... Having bought the season pass for my entire family at a total cost of $ 280, it therefore forces me to pay an entry at $ 45 for my companion each time I go ... Safari park lacked judgment. Daily life with a disabled child is heavy enough, if we have to be cloistered at home in addition, it will be unlivable. PARC SAFARI a place for children ??? I would rather say a place for children NOT TOO DIFFERENT !!!
Cursed that it is well laid out and well entertaining.
Went on St-Jean Baptiste thinking it would be insanely packed but because of the weather, it was perfect. It wasn't too hot so the animals weren't hiding in the shade and sleeping. Love the safari, very interactive and a lot of fun. Enjoyed the deer trail and the little farm with multiple different types of animals such as meerkat and fennec foxes.
The reason I give 4 stars is because the water park should be updated and there should be rides for kids and adults, not just bouncy castles which is mainly for children. Went with a group ages 14-21 and would have enjoyed my experience more if there was more for us to do.
Very well treated animals, neat and clean. So cute .
Zoo well, water park .... Very ordinary (if compared to gramby.)
It's good but the opening is too late, we don't have enough time to see everything. A bit expensive for the whole. But it's ok.
The indicated opening/closing time is wrong. The animals are well taken care of.
Park Safari is an awesome place but their hours are deceptive. There is a global closing time which is what is advertised but attractions begin to close within the park itself well before that. Plan to do everything by at least an hour and a half before the advertised closing time.
Not bad but to do during the season because off season it is expensive for the proposed activities.
The park includes an aquatic park, a maze, and of course a safari where you can drive among the animals and feed them. You can ride on camels and walk among deers, and children can ride ponies. The best part is arguably the lions and tigers, where you can enter a tunnel made of windows where you get to be up close with them. Having an adult lion roar in your face is a very impressive experience!
No abrevoir on the site, except at the entrance where there are restaurants. Otherwise, it is only vending machines, moreover, are for the most part out of service. It would be nice to install water points everywhere, we have been close to heat stroke, despite all the bottles of water that we had brought. Otherwise, it's a great place, with lots of nice things to see, learn and discover.
Avoid ..... managers who only think about cash and not their customers.
nice place but last time i been there many spots with no animals
Good for young people. But on certain body of water I did not like the attitude of the supervisors. Be vigilant even if they are supposed to be watched.
The drive thru Safari is fun but they need to work on the rest.
The park is cool but the animals are fed by accustoming them to lettuce. So we get stuck with our mold. The animals sulk molded. Parking too narrow. The pools are cool!
It was a hoooooot day when we went. The animals were all hiding, which is totally understandable. We found solace in the ridiculously adorable deer sanctuary.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express about 40 minutes from the park. They offered a great rate! About $350 got you the room for a night and two days at the park!
On the second day it was also crazy hot but we had swim suits so we would cool off and then see something. Cool off. See something.
Food was alright. Obviously a bit pricy but we expected that.
Not enough water fountains.
When feeding the animals, bring fresh, chopped up lettuce, cucumbers and celery. NO CARROTS! They are too sweet and people ruined it by bringing 30lbs bags and making animals sick!
Water area was nice. Super strong waterfall felt amazing on this mama's shoulders!
Nice place, really big, kids play, car rides where the animal pick is head in tge car and you feed it. Watter amusement.
Not the place I wish to visit again. Was there twice , first time in 2009 and now. Same emotions. Sad place, poor animals locked in cages...
There are a lot of other zoos in QC province I can recommend to visit, but not this one...
Very pleasant, my daughters of 3 and 4 years loved their experience. I think the park is well suited for young children. They liked the pool. The facilities are not dated yesterday but the price is reasonable. A bit sad to see some animals in cages ...
