Good weekend getaway. Breakfast good. Room was spacious, clean, well appointed. Convenient downtown location near square and China Gate. No view of square or Bay, but good night view of City Hall, Nob Hill and Sutro. Service attentive

The hotel is very well located. A stone's throw away from the Powell BART station and also the Powell cable car ride. A decent ambiance with good rooms. The bar and lounge also quite modern. However don't try any of the signature drinks from the bar; they are absolutely horrendous and the wait staff is quite short and impatient. Stick with what you know best. I must say that most of the concierge are not very resourceful except for Rob and Diana who were on their A game knowing the in's and out's of San Francisco. They were very informative and could provide the best touring sites. Housekeeping was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I dined at Kin Khao restaurant in the hotel. They had a very unique menu, and I enjoyed the flavors. Our group did the tasting menu - I think I'd prefer to order a la carte. The service was great, though it was a bit noisy and hard to carry on a conversation.

Great central location. Next to the BART station Powell St. The market street from where all the tourist street cars start is also very close by. The check in and check out are pretty smooth. They also have a decent bar/restaurant on the lobby floor. The room itself is comfortable and stocked like a typical Hilton. Recommended

didn't had any Hilton Experience at Parc 55. At check-in the person at counter asked me for upgrade for $140 which i denied and he gave me the worst room on 4th Floor. There is no swimming pool at this hotel, one need to go to next door Hilton to use pool. The room had some strong odor. At 8:00AM I wake up with the noise of construction crew who were fixing something outside my window.
As other reviewer, Christian V reported , it happened to me also. Every time i enter the hotel lobby they ask for room key and ID. I noted they don't ask white guys. I was with my family and it was embarrassing. I think this has to something to do with the hotel's neighborhood (lots of homeless and high crime rate) and part of employees training. The hotel is on the edge of Union Square, and one should avoid walking Eddys Street especially during late hours, which is left side of Hotel

Hotel was clean and modern in the lobby. The staff was beyond friendly and super accommodating. Hotel was centrally located near many of great attractions including union square, Chinatown and shopping. Only real negative was the room. Although nice, the decor, Carpet and wall paper in bathroom were outdated. Otherwise it was a great stay!

Stay at this hotel while attending a conference. The staff was friendly and efficient. Or accommodations were acceptable. The location is good, with shopping nearby. The area around is a little run down with many homeless.

Overpriced and overated in the sense that internet, water and breakfast are expected to be complimentary in a four star hotel. It's fair to also mention the good things, which are: cleanliness, friendly staff, comfort and the fact that the hotel is places close to amenities.

Very chic hotel! They have a convenient driveway for valet. The hotel itself and rooms are spacious. Great location, close to all the shopping and central to a lot of other areas in SF.

The only thing that lacked was the bar service. When the bar seating is full, don't expect to get helped if you sit anywhere else. We sat against the white squiggly wall and never got served. The guys next to us had to get up and get a waiter but when the waiter came to them, he didn't come to us. The table in the other side of us hasn't had the table cleaned off so the plates and silverware sat there for 45 minutes.

Great views. Rooms are a bit dated.. bathroom was less than ideal. I love the bay windows but they were so dirty, you couldn t see clearly. Overall, it was surprising the issues I had considering how pristine the lobby and exterior were. Would try a different hotel next time.

The Customer service Associate was so rude. I have ordered a package online, I got email from Fedex saying package is at Front Desk. I went to front desk and requested to check the package but the lady was so mean. She was not even listening my question. I was there for short term stay.
Very bad customer service lady..

Hotel was awesome. I travel for business weekly and this is my favorite hotel in San Francisco. The staff are always above and beyond friendly and the location doesn't get too much better

I enjoyed the room and the water pressure. The room keys didn't work, their replacements which we had to fetch didn't work. They never sent up anyone to let us in we had to flag down a staff member in the hallway. Basically the front desk needs to start working as hard as the rest of the staff.

No room service, check in agent was rude immediately-was with my friend who beat cancer twice. He was rude. I paid so much to stay there that week. Disappointed beyond words. I've been to San Francisco many times-the most disappointing hotel ever.

Nice hotel lobby and staff. The rooms were standard hotel rooms. Nothing to write home about. I may actually only be writing this review for the Google points no big deal.
Otherwise the area around this hotel is great during the day, the area at night however is a completely different story. Would not advise walking alone at night :)

Ate at Kin Khao for lunch. Good but kinda hidden away. Had somewhat arcane rules about when they would seat your party, which was a bit annoying. The pork bowl was not spicy (which is a major plus for me).

It's very close to Market Street but the upper floors at least are fairly quiet. Room was on a corner with great views and was clean and well furnished. The overpriced Internet was unusably slow - $16.95 a day in SF is too much even if it had worked. Seems to be a very busy hotel and this creates long queues to check in / out.

The street noise issue raised by others is a real problem. We're not talking regular hustle and bustle here, this is a specific intersection with a bad gridlock problem. It seemed like every few minutes, at least two cars would lay on their horn at absurd length. It was so bad that I watched to see what was happening. Basically every light cycle, the cars on Cyril Magnin would block the intersection on yellow, hoping to clear it before the opposing light turned green. But the pedestrian traffic moves first, and it's so high traffic that the gridlocked cars get stuck waiting for pedestrians to cross before they can clear the intersection, which obviously necessitates the heavy use of horns by the cross traffic. It's obnoxious and it doesn't die down until late at night. This could probably be resolved by hiring a traffic cop or lobbying for better anti-gridlock signage or a change in the crosswalk timers.

Additionally, no free wifi, and the sidewalks in this part of town are speckled with human feces. Really nice TV and bathroom though.

Service at this hotel is terrible. I arrived at 4pm when check in behind at 3pm. They told us our room wasnt ready which is pretty ridiculous. We had gotten a suite which was about $600. I called the hotel about three times earlier that day requesting early check-in. If they were having issues with guests checking out late, that should've been mentioned during those calls. The staff was incredibly rude. The only reason why I gave three stars is because the room itself was nice.
