Not a bad example of a SF hotel; friendly, efficient staff, clean reasonably sized rooms and a nice enough atmosphere. This is a Hilton for good or bad, there is little personality. Get a high enough room away from the central elevator area and enjoy a view and a quiet nights sleep.

Pretty good Hilton property in a great location. Walking distance to many tourist spots. Rooms are of good size, like a standard Hilton. Decoration, carpets and bathroom makes the hotel look slightly dated. Biggest negative is that there's a lot of street noise (even on 20th floor). Overall, good for the price.

Quiet place with decent eating options nearby. Powell station is a couple of mins away. The blue bottle cafe is a coffee shop worth checking out. The rooms are a tad bit old and the view from the room isnt that great

This central location is perfect for walking around. The facilities are a bit 80's but comfy. There was lots of noise on the streets at night but Party On! The manager Natalia was an impressive lady.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Nice selection of channels on the TV for those down hours. Comfortable desk to work at when you need to get some work done out of the office. Conveniently located near the BART station and a ton of downtown resteraunts and shopping. The hot breakfast was quite nice and reasonably priced with a voucher.

Great stay, great view, very convenient. We had a beautiful view of the Bay bridge and sunrise was absolutely gorgeous!!! The rooftop lounge area is very neat and with beautiful view of the bay...

Overall the hotel itself was okay.. The rooms were clean. Location is was good, close to everything.. However at night you were not able to walk outside without seeing alot of poverty and rather unsafe!

The conceirge staff were by far horrible in terms of their service.. They took a cash deposit for one of our exercusions and stated that it would be deducted from the overall trip.. At the end of the exercusion, they end up not only charging us the full amount, but stated we needed to work with the hotel staff to get our deposit back.

After arguing for days, they finally issued us the credit back.. But we saw a similiar issue occur to the couple in front of us.. This hotel is a rip off, b/c the concerige ends up taking the cash deposit and pocketing in their own accounts.

Sounds like fraud to me, don't you think??

i would definately not recommend this hotel to anynoe..

Overall experience was good, but i will keep this review at One Star until you provide free wifi internet. It's 2018, charging for wifi is redonkulous. Shame on you Hilton. There are about 50 crazy druggies/bums outside at night, I think free internet is a good trade off.

The rooms seemed dated and need refreshing. Carpet was old and dirty. Location was very convenient to Union square and shopping. We chose the park and stay room option where the valet cost of included with the room. Valet is close to $80 after taxes. The hotel kept trying to double charge for valet even after we had checked out of the room and had finalized the bill. Took two times to have it corrected. Not overly impressed with overall stay and had hoped for more when it came to our room based on cost.

Room was very clean. Needed extra pillows but was happily provided them. Front foyer/main room is immaculate, coffee bar was a tad pricey, but that hardly effected my experience. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

I changed it many times because my party wasn't recognized. The room was clean and especially the bedding was so comfortable that it was hard to jet lag but I slept very well. Breakfast was good. It was nice to walk around in the middle of town. Instead, the parking was expensive, so I used a nearby parking lot. The staff were very friendly

Long waiting time for check-in and check-out, no room service or mini bar and you can see a very rushing tidy up. However the staff is very friendly, the location is fab and the view is espectacular.

Nice hotel, good location. Would have been a better rating if the attention to detail was there. Small mistakes from the cleaning team (left trash from previous guests) and poor service during thier overpriced breakfast.

I love this hotel! I read the reviews before booking and I was a little bit hesitant. If you stay in a hotel downtown, there will be all sorts of characters. We walked downtown to Pier 39, and all around downtown. The fun part about going on vacation is experiencing things we've never seen or done, nobody downtown offended us. The location was great. The staff were over accommodating, the food and service were all similar to a Waldorf Astoria!

Stayed here for a couple of days while traveling on work. The check in process was quick for me, though others who traveled with me had to wait for a while. The room had a decent view although windows were slightly dirty, room was quiet and comfortable, there was a good spread at breakfast, and some very good coffee in the room. Lot of restaurants around that you can walk to as well.

The hotel is great....Anyone with the city of SF: if you're listening... start arresting the nasty drug addicted bums who loiter all around this area. Their filth is really affecting local businesses. They pee, poo and leave needles everywhere. Why are the police not allowed to enforce laws...you're F-ing up your city.

I went to the Parc 55 to have dinner at Kin Khao. I don't have much to say about the hotel itself but the restaurant was quite nice. It seemed to be a modern take on Thai cuisine. I had high expectations after reading about it on the Michelin guide but it honestly was a bit disappointing. Perhaps this was because my group didn't quite understand the descriptions for some items on the menu. I enjoyed the food overall but probably would have left with a better impression had I not known of it's regard.

The elevators here are quite different than any other I've seen. From the elevator lobby, you will enter the floor number on a keypad. It will then tell you which elevator to take. Inside the elevator, there are no floor buttons. Only open and close door buttons. Also, be sure to use the black out curtains if the sun shines on your side of the building. The room got warm rather quickly when I was there in September 2017.

Staff was friendly and courteous. The rooms are nice enough and clean. I like the elevator system they use. You select your floor before getting in and it takes only a few floors at a time so you aren't crammed in with a bunch of other people.

Great stay. Got a complimentary room upgrade on a business trip (don't have any fancy rewards status or anything). Beds were very comfortable. Road noise was a bit high even on the 22nd floor but nothing that woke me. Everyone was very friendly. WiFi worked great too.

Good value for the money in downtown San Francisco near Union Square and the cable cars. I was originally at the Marriott Marquis but switched to this hotel since it was $100 less per night. I am very glad I did!

Very nice bed and full sized tub shower (not the little mini ones) that was in a nicely appointed bathroom.

Downgraded from 5 stars to 3 for two reasons:
- $39 per person for the breakfast buffet... what???
- $11 for a stick of deodorant in their gift shop. Went to Walgreen's around the corner..
