Typical Hilton chain. Nothing too extraordinary and pretty much average everything. Bigger than most rooms, geared mostly towards those eager beaver tourists waiting to explore Alcatraz, something I have yet to do.

Came to the hotel for a conference. The service was very hospitable, but navigating the inside of the hotel was a challenge at first (it's a bit maze-like). Otherwise, seems like quite a nice meeting venue.
Stayed here as part of corporate travel. When I make my own arrangements I usually opt for Holiday Inn Express for the consistency and amenities at a reasonable rate. My impression of the Parc 55 is that I am currently trying to resolve preauthorization hold for incidentals; since none were incurred and it's been over 7 days since my departure I find the continuation of the hold irritating. This does not help sway me from the thought that for $325/night it was an ordinary room with a poor climate control system, and that no gratuity amenities (such as complimentary bottled water or breakfast) were available (actually just the contrary -- 2 bottles marked $5 each were obnoxiously on the desk, and should you want a breakfast buffet it's $30). The neighborhood is rather mixed with some seedy elements, so personally I'd look elsewhere unless the horrible traffic and the pricey BART tickets force you to keep close to downtown.
Nice hotel ideally located. The rooms were nice and the staff were very friendly. San Francisco has quite a large homeless population, and some of them hang out in this part of town. So there was some noise particularly at night. It didn't effect our stay and I would recommend the hotel.
Nice hotel. Clean, decent rooms, no complaints. Good restaurant, especially the breakfast. Location is better than a lot of the other downtown hotels. My go to San Francisco stay!
I never give a hotel 5 stars, until now. The room we stayed in surprised us every inch we kept taking. Our room was located in its own corner hallway with a large pole in the middle of the half cirlce hallway where 3 rooms shared, so it felt like we had our own suite. At first going inside, it appeared to look small with a short and narrow "foyer", next we see the desk and two office chairs, then we see a queen-sized bed (extremely comfortable). We couldn't see the closet or the restroom standing in the main room. The unsuspecting shape of this room made looking for the restroom an adventure. As we looked, we got distracted by all the windows. The entire half of the room was lined with windows! There were so many curtains, so we opened all of them...what a view!! When we followed the curtains, we finally located the en suite closet and restroom. The curtains ended where the closet started. The closet had its own room and window view because it had a door from the bedroom area. Next to the window was an ottoman stool- so luxurious to be able to sit while dressing and looking out the window to see the massive SF buildings. I'm not finished. There was another door...to the restroom. This restroom is big. I love hotels with spacious restrooms. It had a shower tub with a ledge for the ladies to perch your legs for shaving and placing ALL your shower products. Everything in this hotel room was luxurious and accommodating. We'll be back.
I frequent Cityhouse, Parc55's restaurant. They've had great appetizers and mains throughout the years and a good wine selection. My favorite is Rosenblum's Petite Syrah although I believe they've stopped carrying it recently.
They've got a good mix of American style dining - meat and fish dishes with great sauces and sides. I've dined in groups of 2-10 here, and they are extremely close to Union Square so all your guests can easily access this restaurant off of the BART.
Additionally, I've held many business meetings here - coffee is good and wine's by the glass are great as well. Service is consistent; always friendly and attentive.
2.5 star review. The reason this is not a 1 star review is because the rooms were actually clean and well kept. The bathrooms were nice. The place wasn't falling apart. It's actually quite a nice hotel. Its walking distance to many things. The gym is nicer than some hotels I've stayed at. However what I found ridiculous was that the parking was $67 a night valet only. That's more than twice the maximum amount I've ever paid for a hotel parking. So really this hotel would get a 3.5 star. Wasnt horrible, didn't blow me away, but the fees for parking knocks it to 2.5 and rounded down gives it a 2.
Here for a professional event. Location is convenient to BART and easy enough to find. Inside of the hotel was nice, and the conference room was clean and well lit. My only gripe is that the small breakfast they set up for us was pretty mediocre.
Really good check in, considerate of my time. Room is a but dated but comfy. On the 10th floor the street noise is still present and the fire station nearby doesn't help.
Location of this hotel is superb! Rooms are huge but slightly dated. Air conditioning is noisy. Carpets are not nice to step on. Basically, a good hotel to stay in for exploring the city.
Decent hotel for the price with great views of the city! The service was good, fast elevators and tidy bathrooms. Close to downtown and so many places to eat around. Almost all the tour buses pick up points and offices are just a block or two away.
Excellent hotel. I enjoyed the customer service and cleanliness. I would recommend this hote if you're looking for a nice place near union square and the warf. Getting around by Uber is super easy from this spot.
Great hotel and location, I definitely recommend. One star off because it would have been nice to have an option for room service, though there are a couple of close locations nearby.
Great location, great service, nice rooms - no complaints! They really try to go above and beyond to help and assist you, and it's in the center of Union Square activity and shopping
Eating at kin Khao was a great experience. The food was amazing and the servers were friendly. The price is a little on the expensive side, but well worth it.
Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Surrounded by a decent amount of shops and food places, but as far as I could tell you have to go a few blocks to find anything that isn't a chain.
