I wish the rooms had differences the only real difference you get is the view it would be nice if some had a kitchen or a Jacuzzi tub something. Also weird was how nice this place was and there was not a room service menu in the room they really didn't tell you what was featured at the hotel just kinda let you figure stuff out on your own. Then parking was fun apparently the bridge to our room was out to go the normal way so you had to drive the wrong way which ment the parking spots were all in the opposite direction and the ally that you drove down made turning around damn near impossible. The convienance just was not there. All in all it was a nice place but considering the down falls not my first choice for a staycation we only tried this place because the usual hotel we go to was booked at the time. I might give it another try one time but probably not for a while.

Stayed here with my Wife not long ago and it was one of the best weeks ever. The room was beautiful the property was like an island paradise. close to many amenities around San Diego and a great place to relax and get away.

Amazing setting and right next to seaworld. The hotel room I stayed in needed some updating that showed major wear and tear. Stayed in lanai room and the view was incredible! I experienced something I have never experienced before, I received much better service from the room service and maintenance guys driving around then the actual customer facing people. All in all I would do it again just lower my expectations a bit around service.

On the positive side, very nice, attentive staff including maintenance. On the negative side- for the price and resort fees, seems like rooms could be cleaner( had to call front desk to clean room again )grounds nicer(exposed pipes, no mulch and much needed security features from reflective crosswalks and speed bumps to proper lighting( children and adults hard to see). Adult pool was nice and quiet, great location and nice for families but definitely needs to be properly maintained and updated in my opinion!

We had a good time at this resort but some things that didn't make it exceptional were the following: 1) The resort seemed to be overcrowded with waits for pool and substantial waits for restaurant dining (lunch and dinner) 2) They did comp us a $50 credit after mention it was an anniversary trip but that was after talking about our not so great experience up to that point 3) No room service - for the prices we were paying, we thought that was something that an all-inclusive resort should have presented. I think traveling here over the weekend is not advised, especially with all these ridiculous COVID restrictions. However, I probably wouldn't go back based on this experience.

Theft my Bose Bluetooth Speaker. We stayed here last week for my birthday, but it was not a pleasant stay . Staff is not at a Welcoming. Low maintenance resort. It does not look as it is show cased on pictures and videos. I forgot my bose bluetooth speaker in the room, and when I was checking out, I did see a service woman getting into our checked out room to clean it. Once, I realized that I forgot my speakers in room, I called the resort to look for it in lost and found. But, they said, they never got any speakers in the list and said that they look for it and ask the service people if they found it. But, I never received a call back, I had to call them 3 times to ask for the same. Am pretty sure that the lady would have taken it and did not report it to the lost and found. I think its the resort management responsibility to find my item lost in the room. It's not at all safe to stay here. You do not have security for your valuables.

My wife and I got married here and we try and go back once a year. They put a complimentary bottle of wine in our room for the occasion. The atmosphere is like being in Hawaii. It's right across from Sea world so it's convenient if you're going there. The resort is on the water and has a dock to rent many different types of boat's, they also have paddle boards. All the rentals are reasonably priced. Highly recommend staying!

Can't say I loved it here. The first room we were put it had the most uncomfortable bed ever, but they did switch us to a different room with a better bed. But barely better. It seemed like they were renovating many rooms and hadn't gotten to ours yet. Oh well. Not worth the money and no included breakfast. Needs some definite improvements.

I went in for a job interview for a bussing position at the barefoot bar and grill. I have not stayed here yet but, the place is beautiful and every staff member is kibd and helpful. Looking for a romantic place to get away to? Go to Paradise Point its a magical place.

It is NOT SAFE!!!!

Our friends and we checked in the hotel in the evening and then we decided to go swimming right after we moved into our rooms. After one hour, we came back from the swimming pool and found both our rooms were broken in.

People working there admitted that this kind of things happened before. Even so, they didn't have a security camera for our room area. Plus, no one warned us when we checked in.

Don't go to this place.

We spent four days there for our 20th this past weekend. Even though we live in Southern California, we were surprised to find this island oasis so close to San Diego. We enjoyed: tropical feel, well kept grounds, recently renovated room (very spacious), heated pool, close proximity to tons of entertainment (La Jolla, Gas Lamp district, Cabillo Natl Monument, Sea World), very helpful hotel clerk (Mary), great views around the island, hot tub, fire pits by the pool, tiki lamps at night, the reasonable price. Could be improved: heater was old and made a lot of noise, parking could be free (though we were only charged $15/night), weight room should be included (I paid the $12 one day).

Clean and well maintained landscape. The size of the rooms were good. Liked the private patio.. the walls were paper thin so you hear the next door neighbors & poor ventilation - Brought to managers' attention and they said it's the way these bungalows were built. Lots of walking & confusing layout/map. Nice walk ways, pools and right by the water.

GIVING ZERO STARS IF I COULD FOR RACIAL PROFILING/DISCRIMINATION!! DO NOT GIVE THIS PROPERTY YOUR MONEY!! My friends and I were treated as if we did not belong or were out of place from the moment we drove in to the moment we left. When I called to discuss with manager Diana she very rudely argued with me and told me it never happened that I was not discriminated against . She failed to apologize yet she felt as though she could tell
Me about multiple occurrences she was not present for. Anyone who is currently supporting the BLV movement, please boycott this business!!!!

Paradise Point Resort & Spa was an amazing place to stay at. The location was really beautiful. The rooms were incredibly relaxing. The service was awesome, the service got things done really quickly.

We had a room on the bay. The room was ok but not as nice as I would have expected. Bathroom seemed to be needing updating and floor had what to be mold around edges. We did use their rentals and they were in good condition. We ate breakfast at the barefoot restaurant and all of our food was tasty and presented nicely. I think if bathroom was updated it would have been a nice stay.

Not a five star resort, but all in all, it was fun. Beach view villas are best, but no ocean view. Non beach villas were clean and updated. Plenty to do and easy access to local attraction. No complaints from us.

I absolutely love this hotel ! My family and I have stayed several times and it s always our first pick for a get away weekend. The rooms are spectacular and perfectly clean. It s a great stay with for kids with many pools and bay just a few steps away. I recommend staying in the bay front bungalows. If you go ask for Celina, she s amazing ! She ll make sure your stay is top notch and will get everything done smoothly. Go stay with them ! They are open now.

Honestly for the price per night I was expecting much much more. The location was wonderful. The layout of the property was horrible!! It was like a maze. Every time just walking to the pool was such a chore. No straight shot across the property. For a disabled person I found this very painful. My phone said I walked 6.5 miles on Saturday afternoon/evening and that was just back and forth to the pools and restaurant a few times. Why no shuttle service?? You have so many service carts you should do one for guests. The driveways were very narrow and people driving (including hotel staff) drive way too fast around sharp corners with kids playing outside or walking. There are no side walks so that s your only choice, walking in the street. The place just seemed dirty and under kept. I m from San Diego so my expectations for this type of destination and price tag ($500 per night) are very high! Maybe someone from out of state would think differently but this place seemed to need a lot of work to be worth that price. The rooms were dirty, towels at the pool had stains, cigarette butts everywhere even at the pool. The restaurant was a joke. AlI wanted was an easy cup of coffee Sunday morning and I had to wait in line for 45 mins at the Barefoot bar in the combined food, takeout, bar area all so I could pay for a $4 cup of coffee. Most places I stay have complimentary coffee in the lobby! Or at least someplace you could grab it quickly. Overall we agreed we would not come back unless they do some serious renovations to the property! My recommendation would be to flatten it and start over! Oh and when I got home I reviewed my hotel charges and we had 2 charges for the Barefoot bar on June 18th. We didn t even check in until June 20th!! Clearly something is wrong with the way invoices are being handled well.

Gorgeous paradisiac resort! So much to offer the senses... You will love this resort! Park and Beach setting with a touch of tropical appeal (and SoCal). Bay front cottages offer enough space around each one so you won't feel crowded... Gorgeous pool area, bike rentals, spa, store, two restaurants (both with great Bay views).

Hard to beat this location (center of Mission Bay especially if you prefer a little being off the main track (very close to everything but has remote feel to it s this is a part of small island in the bay).

Two Bridges give you easy access to almost everything San Diego has to offer and that is a whole lot... I mean a whole lot.

There bridge to the north gives you access to Crown Point, Pacific Beach and La Jolla, all of which are favorite destinations known worldwide.

The bridge to the South gives you access to Mission Bay, the Amusement Park and much more, Quivira Marina, Mission Valley, Sea World, and downtown San Diego, the airport, famous Balboa Park and the world famous Zoo...

Such a relaxing place. The beds feel heavenly. The food is lovely. Honestly an overall great place. The breeze you feel once you step out make the place so welcoming. There's cottages right next to the beach which you can not beat and there are fireplaces right on the beach for smores or hot dogs. I loved the stay here!

Very nice location and close to Sea World and San Diego Zoo. The grounds was really nice and clean. The room we had was nice. There were a lot of activities to utilize but the fall is that if you don't use them, you are still paid $34 a day. But overall good experience.

Had to wait 5 hours for are room to be ready and when we would ask how much longer they kept saying someone was walking to our room which they said for 5 hours. The restaurants were not good unless for the barbecue which was only open from 3 45 to 7 45. The rooms were outdated and gross the bathroom was small and had cracks on the wall and spiders. Going back to food we always wanted to eat at the Mexican restaurant which was by the pool but it was never open and when we did catch it open they said they had no Food at 5 P.m. The Wi-Fi which only worked half the time was horrible usually only had a 1 bar of 3g. The only reason i give it 1 star is because of the location by the bay. They also had boats and jetskis and other water sports for rent but for high prices I think $110 for an hour on jetskis but we ended up doing a speed boat which was fun. So if ur looking to come here make sure you plan to do a lot of stuff outside the resort.

When I arrived in the evening, the room smelled of strong cleaning solution and urine, so management gave me another room. After a beautiful dinner at the bar and grill(probably the most amazing burger and fries I've ever had with dill aioli sauce which I've never experienced before-yum!) I returned to the second room and noticed it had a dirty towel hanging up, nose excrement on the wall, hair on the toilet, pieces of black substance on the end of the bed, and a dirty coffee table. The night manager gave me an option to switch rooms or have it cleaned. However, it was already 10:30pm and housekeeper was due to leave soon. I figured another move would lead me to another dirty room so I opted to have it cleaned up. A housekeeper knocked a bit later and changed my bed and turned to leave. I asked if I could have a replacement for the dirty hand towel, but she didn't have any. She was clearly not aware of the other issues. I'm not sure if the manager told her. I felt awkward sitting in my unsatisfactorily cleaned "resort" room after months of anticipating a relaxing conference at a vacation paradise. What a disappointment. I have never experienced this level of dissatisfaction in any moderately priced hotel, so obviously I was blown away by the fact that these basics were missed in this nice resort. After looking at reviews, I realized my situation is not unique. I spoke with management the next morning after I removed myself from my room without even using the questionable shower. The day manager was empathetic and upgraded me to another room which was ready. After about 90 minutes, the ready room was available, as I was told that housekeeping would inspect it first. It was clean. Thank you for cleaning the room. It is good to clean a hotel room to maintain a certain level of customer service and integrity. I'm hoping this won't happen to anyone else because it's a lovely place otherwise and the conference site is incredible with it's water view and the food is delicious!

I would never stay here again. They took the payment for the stay upfront and then an additional $100 per night as a deposit ... we were never told that and half though our stay, we didn t have enough of our budget for food because the hotel took extra money that we hadn t budgeted for (an extra $500!!) The supervisor on call that night (it was a guy) decided to dispute and argue with me about it saying it was the norm... it is not normal. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and very nice resorts all over the world and never have I been charged $100 per night extra as a deposit and not be informed about it or be charged for the hotel stay up front and for the money to come out of our account without being notified. Furthermore, our room wasn t serviced on one of the days, with no excuse, the neighbor next door to us had no respect and kept slamming the door at 6am waking us up.. the walls are not very thick so you can hear a lot of noise. The food is over priced at the restaurants, especially the drinks. The resort is generally run down and not at all like in the pictures on the website. The beach is disgusting and dirty with cups and plastic and paper everywhere.. and why charge $38 a day for parking??? No other resort in the area does this- thought that because of this, your resort would be much nicer and you are paying for the upkeep of everything- that is not the case. Never again will my husband and I stay at your resort or any of your hotels for that matter. The staff need to learn customer service skills and not argue with the customer as well as be more friendly when serving in the restaurants. Extremely disappointing when it was our first vacation ever together to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary and it was our babymoon . Highly disappointing. We were also told you were going to do something special for our anniversary- that did not happen. Terrible stay. Never again. Do not stay here. There are much better hotels in the area and in a better location where you don t have to pay $38 a day for parking or spend a lot on Uber s if you decide not to take a car.
