A really beautiful and constructive experience to understand the size of the canyon ... seen from above you really realize its vastness .. during the ride in the helicopter is also provided an audio guide in the language of belonging.

Absolutely breathtaking. Really exceptional welcome and very friendly staff. $ 250 for 30 minutes above the canyon from Tusayan. $ 50 to be added for front seats. Sublime view of the vastness of the canyon, impossible to see on the ground. Anyway, go for it

Effective.

The flights are a great way to see the canyon like never before. Pilots are friendly and knowledgeable. The staff inside can be somewhat unhappy but you have to imagine that they have to deal with a lot of nonsense throughout the day.

We took a complete trip for 2 people and the only thing I can claim is a fantastic experience Javier would do it again

Useless booked.twice and we still had to remind them to put us on next flight

Although our party was quite scared about flying, the experience was very good! We had an awesome time - once in a life time opportunity. The narration during the tour was mediocre and hard to hear. It would have been nice if we had more opportunity to know exactly how the helicopter tour worked. Overall, it was quite good!

It's a little pricey. It should be considered that flight may not be possible depending on weather conditions (especially wind).

Thank you to Papillon! I've seen the Grand Canyon several times but nothing compares to seeing it from the air! This is must do when you go to the Canyon. The flight was so fun and the views were breathtaking.

I went on the 40 minute tour with my son and the only entertaining part of it was the whole being in a helicopter. We spent a quarter of the time not even in the canyon! And in rethinking the last statement, we barely ever went into the canyon, most of it was above.

Because you move you can only see how big and deep the Grand Canyon is.

Driving to the Grand Canyon, South Rim is clear. There are many, many vantage points, which are ultimately an always similar repetition of a constantly impressive new gigantic hole in the earth's crust. A helicopter flight gives the whole thing a completely different, new dimension. If helicopter flight, then there!
We depart from the small heliport. There are about 10 helicopters in the area. Take off with the helicopter is great as such, quite simply, because so different than by plane. On the headphones, last safety instructions are recorded, and then it goes over endless forest areas to the north. Here and there you can see smoke from forest fires. Oxygene IV by Jean Michel Jarre runs on the headphones. When the music comes to the Zenith, and that is just gigantic in this song, we see the 1 km deep hole in its entirety in front of us. Perfectly staged!
We fly a lot of beautiful places along the edge, first on the south side, then in the north.

We just happened to stop and inquire about a tour and are sooo glad we did. Ester at the front was so pleasant and helpful and our pilot Andrew was awesome (cute too). I was blessed to sit in the front and be co-pilot . I ve never been in a helicopter or seen the Grand Canyon and this was absolutely THE BEST. Thank you Andrew for an amazing experience. Today was unforgettable!

Splendid to see and especially to do in helicopter. You will not be disappointed on which side you will be in lhelico. Landscape that we do not see the same way even if it's a bit expensive 260 Dollard around. No regrets

The helicopter tour was good there was a few times my stomach drop to my feet thinking we were going to crash but the pilot was cool and explained how the wind was causing the air pockets

Friend pilot, but the flight was way too short. Spent more time getting to and back than we spent in the Canyon. Beautiful though!

Very pleased with overall service. Length of flight is good. Good view and a reasonable price . Ours was a small airplane and 1*1 configuration so everyone had a window. Flight was bumpy and if you are prone to air sickness then you need to prepared accordingly.
One improvement i would like to suggest is that the airline enforce selfie stick ban more strictly. There were a ton of selfie stickholders yesterday and they are a nuisance.

To do, just for the splendor of the grand canyon. Our pilot explained to us in English of course, but don't worry they have an audio in French if you have trouble with English

Very expensive... but nice scenery and exciting although if you're stuck in a middle seat you're going to be hard pressed to get good photos without being all up on the other person

Truly one of the most incredible memories of my entire life. My boyfriend and I took the 45 minute helicopter tour over the South rim of the Grand Canyon. The views, the energy, the breathtaking feeling of flying over one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World....I highly recommend this company. They are super professional and passionate about their work. Check in was efficient and the customer service was excellent. They take your temperature, weigh you and have you watch a 5 minute safety video. You fly in state of the art EC-130 Eco Star helicopters with forward facing theater style seats and temperature regulated. We paid for the $50 upgrade per person to sit in the two front seats and it was absolutely worth it. I love photography so make sure to bring your best camera, top lens and get ready for the most astonishing vistas. Our pilot was beyond amazing. He made the experience that much more special. He pointed out hallmarks of the Canyon and also helped us spot a small pack of bison. He was kind enough to take photos for us afterwards. So much to say...but you should just do it and see for yourself...you'll be so glad you did.

Very dear, without soul or explanation a flat and short flight. Fortunately, the landscapes are sumptuous.

Security is very important here. We had to come 3 times until the wind conditions were such that we could fly. The sightseeing flight was awesome, phenomenal view, the pilot was a full professional. It was worth every penny.

Costly expensive, but emotionally fabulous. The Grand Canyon helicopter ride is an experience worth living. Of course for half an hour of flight (to which to add ten minutes before preparation with a short video on the safety equipment of the helicopter, such as when flying by plane and the boarding phase on the helicopter) minimum are 190 Euro per head. Many undoubtedly, but I assure you well spent !!!

To do if you have the chance to visit the big Cayon

The whole process felt a bit rushed and the staff were a bit pushy and grumpy. The pilot (Bart) and the tour bus driver (Sylvester) were awesome though

An incredible experience. We made the big tour (50 min.) With the new helicopters, a great view, a varied landscape and a very nice team. The pilot has answered every question. I can recommend the booking of a front seat for $ 50 extra, the view is much better (rear seats 4 seats). We were even lucky enough to get two seats in the front row by booking a front seat.

Without words if you go to the Grand Canyon, you have to do this Tour.

We arrived without reservation and 15 minutes later we were able to take a tour. They are kind and helpful. We could see the big canyon and the surroundings. Too bad we could not get closer to Colorado. (I think for reasons of time and security)

Next time I'm visiting the Grand Canyon National Park, I will try the Helicopter to fully enjoy my vacation. It felt like I missed something by not including this in the package.

Our Gray Line LAS VEGAS Tour bus dropped off a few passengers at the National Geographic Visitor Center who had purchased the helicopter ride and Pink SUVs / Jeeps. On our way back from the Grand Canyon South Rim Tour, we picked up the lucky riders.

Although I've missed this huge opportunity to see an amazing aerial view of the Grand Canyon National Park South, North and West Rims, I would highly recommend anyone visitors or residents to take advantage of this gem .

Wow. Wow. Wow. This is how you do a Grand Canyon tour. The views and experience is all worth it. Aside from that, our pilot, John, doubled down and making sure we had a great experience. John was informative, funny, and had great taste in music. Wow. Wow. Wow.

Company is safety concious. They cancelled Our flight 1 hour before due to wind. That was 1900. 00 for a full flight - 6 people- to them. We took a different flight. Pilot was nice. We did 4:50 pm, and the sun was on the way down. I would have preferred not having 1/2 the canyon in shade, but my husband liked the different lightng in different parts.

Watching the Grand Canyon in the air is a classic Grand Canyon tour. They are the largest helicopter travel company. I recommend.

Since I had no time for a hike inside the Grand Canyon National Park, I ve booked an airplane tour to fly over it. I ve booked online, when I was still in Phoenix and everything went smooth. The airplanes are equipped with extra large windows for the best view on the landscape. Compared to the helicopter, the airplane covers more of the park and the view should be better. Moreover, it s a bit cheaper. It's amazing, what you see from the birds view.

So I booked online a tour to the grand canyon at 7am in the morning, I confirmed it the day before. Arrived very early at the park and rangers told me the park was closed , they would open at 9am, but I'm here at 630am. Was very disappointed to my surprise, they pretty much told me that I didn't confirmed, pretty much calling me a liar. They couldn't take me at 7am, but expected me of waiting for a pilot for 5hrs, in a park that was closed.
I did my tour around 1230pm, can't complain about the pilot, neither the trip to the grand canyon, but this company needs urgently a more accurate website. If you aren't open till 11am don't advertise 7, 8, 9, 10 flights to the grand canyon west!

This was a gift for my birthday from my fiance.The most exciting experience of my life! I would recommend Papillon to any one wanting excellence in a helicopter tour. The Pilot as well as all of the staff gave us the most supreme experience of a lifetime!
