There is no communication or organization & they are full of disrespect. They live by two sets of rules as they tell you one thing but turn around & do just the opposite. Not a trustworthy company either. All for the purpose of getting more $$$!! No wonder they don't have more clients.
I work for this company going on 8 years now and have received officer of the month and officer of the year during this time. It s a great place to earn a living and meet other officers. I highly recommend Norred to anyone who s looking to work with a great team of co workers and to get the experience to further their career in the security field.
This company is only something to do until you find something else. Keep searching don't waist your time.
Good company to work with, manager is okay , supervisor Donnie I give him 5 stars he is the best supervisor , I will pray this company to come in new york !
If i could give 0 stars I would, It's going on a full week and my Husband have yet been able to get in contact with HR, if you are going to run a company outside of your headquarters then you at least need a main source in those other cities. We cant contact anyone and whoever the rude black lady that is over answering their phones she suck as an individual. HR is never in do anyone do their job at this place!!!!
Need a little bit more of a hands-on approach with their employees.
We have two of these security guards where I work. On multiple occasions or cars were broken in to, tires slashed and paint jobs have been keyed. One of the guards ride in a golf cart playing games on their phones and the other one only makes an appearance at the snack vending machine. Wish they actually took their job a little more seriously maybe it would have prevented some of our losses
A great elite company I have been working for since February 2012.
Got promoted to supervisory armed officer within six months of signing on by Mr Wilkins.
The managers are serious with their tasks and are always ready to help beyond expectation.
Optional overtime with weekly pay, paid vacation , and adequate supply of uniforms as well as periodic officer review training.
Thanks to Mr John Wilkins and Kelvin Smith for your encouragement and support on the job and outside .Keep up the good works.
They give guns to clueless "guards". Very dangerous.
I enjoy going to work each day. I live less than 10 minutes away. My hours very from day to day Monday-Saturday. From top management on down people are great, everyone knows there duties. Security at this Credit Union is great. I am glad i signed up with NORRED & ASSOCARES.
I had a wonderful experience working for this company. The mangers Kelvin, Ryan, and Jeff to name a few, MAKE it wonderful! Payday is every week, there's lots of exciting great job assignments all over Metro Atlanta & beyond, and the corporate office staff including the head of the uniform department and head of the training classes are top-notch. I fully recommend this company for those who are mature and responsible & are looking for a place to work that allows for many different opportunities.
Real simple this company sucks in all ways possible!
They will tell you that you start off at $12 Hr. But come to find out own my first check it was $10
This company is a joke. These security officers start out at 7.88$ an hour and there is no accountability with this firm what so ever. I had problems with one their toy cops that kept harassing me at a Kroger location in Atlanta. The company did nothing about it. Every one there at this company is rude and any corporation that would stoop to the level to hire this firm is a disgrace. Any professional business has off duty REAL Police at their business not some toy cop firm like this that is very unprofessional.
This company horrible when you don't want work at a post no more they make a bogus information on you to get terminated. Something need to done to this company asap
You'll should be ashamed of yourself with this discrimination policy going on and don't even pay enough to tell anyone that they have to cut there beard and dreads for $9-$12 just sad I would recommend anyone here
Norred is one of the worst companies that i ever worked for, My supervisor Josh cared more about the client than his security officers, He also exposed his security guards to hazardous working conditions, He never let his guards know that they were being taken over by another security company, all of his guards were let go. And he didnt even care Thats to show everyone appling to this lousy company that they definietly did not care about there employees,
Low paying security job.
Entry Level.
So unprofessional They only care if u come work underpaid job want us to come work don t care about the employees at all it s all always some new plus they don t care when u have to talk to them just as sad uncaring people
I am completely frustrated with this company. I posted a resume and got called for an interview. After a phone book of paperwork, and having my picture taken, I never heard anything unless I called. I called the gentleman who interviewed me and said he apologized for a training class being cancelled that I had no idea was ever scheduled. I was told he would contact me later, and I have heard nothing. I have called and texted 2 different gentleman and heard nothing from either. I am still wondering if I was chosen over, or did something not go through. I have made multiple attempts including calling the office in Hapeville to no avail. I have both voicemail and text on my contact and still nothing. Just so freaking frustrated.
My Son just got his first job here. Sometimes communication is bad.
I am house-sitting for my daughter in Atlanta. I decided to go out for a long run on the Beltline. On the return trip I stumbled on some broken concrete....scraping my knuckles quite bloody. I was right across the street from the Kroger at 590 Cascade Ave. I know they always have public restrooms in Krogers where I could wash my wounds. I wandered in......with an impressive amount of blood dripping down my hands. The security guard right inside the door calmly directed me to the rest room, and asked if I needed any bandages. I said it looked worse than it was, and went to wash up. They were still bleeding quite a bit, and when I got back to the store entrance, she continued to express concern. I didn't want to get her in trouble by distracting her from her responsibilities......but she was politely persuasive and convinced me to wait while she located some first aid supplies.
I was prepared to run the remaining three miles home and finish treating my scrapes and gouges there. However she came up with some alcohol swabs, bandaids and antibiotic cream. I must admit I felt better about the first aid.....having recently been on antibiotics for two weeks for a skin infection, which she of course didn't know.
I hope I remember her name right. I think she said Officer Wilson. She was a very pretty young African-American woman with long black hair. She was posted just outside the Fifth Third Bank. It was not her job to tend to me, and many people would not have done so. It was definitely above and beyond the call of duty. You have a great employee there, and she reflects well on your company.
Doesn't look after their Officers, Doesn't care what you going through, Under Paid, Been there a year, doesn't Remind you of your Vacation Time, Uniforms Cheap, Especially the Pants, Thread Everywhere, Doesn't Reimburse you for things they supposed to have, Bought a $8.00 Lock for "Our" Security Door last year, haven't been paid back yet.
Great company to work for. I have served in several compacities as a field manager and now currently as The Marta Security account Manager. I have been the company for almost six years and have had a great work experience and work with a great group of people.
I have been with Norred and Associates four years. I enjoy my job and I would recommend Norred and Associates to anyone. Customer service is excellent. Never have a problem getting paid. Security officers take pride in their job. Good company to work for.
I have been working at Norred and Associates for 6yrs now a the account manager at Emory john creek Hospital as a Armored Guard a GREAT COMPAN to work for with lots of opportunity to advance
It has been awesome working for Mr. NORRED. I wish that I had started sooner working with NORRED. They expect you to perform but they do not micromanage you. Mr. NORRED called me on Christmas eve and asked if I needed anything. The company that I worked for 35 years never did that. Mr. NORRED has told me on several occasions that he appreciate me. That just makes me want to do even better. By the way I was promoted to account mgr just after being with the company 1 month. Thanks Mr. NORRED
Modern day slavery. I worked two weeks for them, they sent the checkS to the wrong account and told me it was nothing they can do. They won t give me my last check unless I give them back the uniform even though they ve been taking money out of my checks for the uniform.
Professional and respectful receptionist who answer the phone..... Great overall.....
The contracts isn't that bad but if your new and they give you a site with the manager name Marvin Whitefield REJECT it and ask for a other site. This man lives to be VERY RUDE and the biggest liar on the world.
Been with the company since Oct. 2015..Ryan will be the best supervisor. I haven't had any issues since I was placed under him. Hopefully it stays this way.
Worked for the company for 4 months, checks where right. But $10.50 an hour in the Chicago Area. You can t make a living on that.
Returned my uniform back to them. I m clean condition. But they are still holding my $250 deposit for the uniform. The supin Bolingbrook says he is Human Resources. But I found out he lied. He also likes to hire people who are not allowed to work in the country.
STAY AWAY!!!! SPECIALLY STAY AWAY FROM THE BOLINGBROOK IL LOCATION
Weekly Pay. Great company to work for. I joined the company in May 2019, and the Operation Team, Human Resources Department and Payroll department are easily accessible and are alway very helpful. It has definitely been a pleasure to work for Norred and Associates, Inc.
The front desk clerk is so nice and professional!! It was refreshing after a full day of job searching!
This place is a joke .. they only pay 9$ and then they want you to come to two day orientation with no pay... then you probably got to pay for uniform... you better off working at Walmart they pay 11$ ... I can see why they always need people
I met one of the security guards from this company working at the Kroger located at 3855 Buford Hwy. His name was Ken and he was fantastic.
I had to stop and tell him thank you because he was so polite and respectful to all of the customers. He was also very attentive and paid close mind to the safety of the shoppers, and employees.
Very professional security guard. He deserves a pat on the back. Please thank him again for me.
This company acting like they are law enforcement keyword they are only SECURITY OFFICERS THAT HAS .LIMIT .SKILLS .To only write report and do pass down .I would not work for a company. That judge what you have on because not everyone has the best .Attire to wear for. A interviews if i was doing interviews in hapeville ga i would understand that's the point to give them a job and as soon as they get hire thats when they can buy there best work wear and to the interview guy posted that job in hapeville ga .on indeed you take your posted and shove up your a$$ you. Not better than no one
Started this job April 2018 it has been a good experience so far. Co Workers are easy to get along with and are helpful when need to ask a question about the job. My boss is straight to point with what he needs done on the job. He is a real good person and boss.
I've been with Norred since 2008. They have been there for me through all my ups and downs. My account manager is Marvin Whitfield. He is strict but fair. He expects the best from his guards at all times. Every site I've worked at has been simple. Just stay on your P's and Q's like any other job and things will be ok.
Kroger Grocery Store "Belvedere Plaza Decatur, Ga has an Amazing Norred Security Officer name, Officer Tiffany. July 15,2017 around 8:00pm Officer Tiffany was on duty and she was very kind and caring toward the parking lot parking.
I just want to acknowledge Officer Tiffany for the very good in securing The Belvedere Plaza of Kroger Grocery Store.
