Really enjoyed the Imperial tour. Dale was a really nice pilot and guide. Really informative. You get to see areas of the canyon you would never get to see any other way. A once in a lifetime experience.

Uncomplicated and nice personnel. We had a nice helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon and they were even kind enough to take us with an earlier tour which saved us some waiting time. The Grand Canyon of course is everything as grand as you'd expect it to be.

A "grand" view of the grand canyon. The view is really beautiful. The tour is during around 40mn. There are explanation about the grand canyon in different language (spanish, german, french and of course english).
Be carefull : they will try to jam you with the "window sitted" option (10$). I pay it, but everyone was sitted next to a window...

Get the front seats if you can. Worth every penny! There is nothing like seeing the grand canyon from above. Also, they were flexible, we saw the weather was going to be snowy the day we had booked so we called and asked if we could move it up to the day earlier and without hesitation, they accommodated.

Horrible organization don't book!!! We planned our travel month ago and two days before the trip they changed the flight time from 9 to 11 am with a one day notice. We are not able to attend the flight this time due to the shirt notice and are really disappointed. If you need a reliable reservation for your trip don't choose this airline!

The are no words to describe what you see while flying a helicopter over the Grand Canyon. For me it was the first time I saw the canyon and it was absolutely stunning. You can do the long and short flight but I would definitely recommend to take the long one.

This was a bucket list adventure for my husband and I. It was part of our tour package to the Hoover Dam. It was worth every penny. Check in was fast, safety process went fast also. Safety is a priority and it's shows by them getting you in and out of the helicopter. The pilot was friendly and informative as we took off and flew down to Lake Mead and then down to part of the Colorado River and to the Hoover Dam. The ride was so smooth as it was a clear sky's with minimal winds. Loved the whole experience, thank you Papillon!!

My first time in a helicopter and I felt safe in this clean, well organized establishment.
Really liked the pilot... Nothing like flying over the grand canyon in a helicopter.... Only reason for not giving 5 stars is its fairly expensive and they overload it so people in the back/center get significantly less view and if you also end up next to an annoying/inconsiderate passenger it can ruin what should have been an amazing flight. They should either make room and remove one of the seats or significantly discount center/back seats. And instruct passengers to be mindful of others when they are packed like sardines like this.
Unbelievable what you can see here. Of course, such a flight is expensive, but if you think about what you get for it, it's definitely worth it.

I had an excellent expierence with Papillon! My father and I went for a Saturday morning flight in January during a brief trip to Vegas! We did the tour that flies over Hoover and the Canyon with a stop at the bottom for snacks and champagne. Flying over the Canyon and dam was an amazing expierence!
The shuttle picked us up from our hotel and we rode out to the Boulder airport, it wasn't a bad ride at all. When we got there we did check in/weigh in. The desk staff were very friendly, although we were a bit unclear about what to do after we watched the safety video. We sat in the small lobby for not too long while a few other groups left for their flights, then our names were called out and we met our Pilot before going out to the helicopter. We did ask to be on the list for the $50 upgrade to the front seats. It's important to understand that front seats aren't guaranteed. Two other people on our flight also wanted the front, but we were told that based on weight and balance my father and I would get to sit in the front, My father sat at the window while I sat in between him and the pilot. The front seat upgrade was definitely worth it in my opinion!
Our pilot Chris was great! He was a good balance of funny but still very informative. He also was great about communicating with two people on our flight who spoke more French than English. Before the flight they take photos of each small group on the flight which are then offered for sale after the flight.
On the way out to the Canyon we listened to an informative narrative about the Canyon (in both French and English I believe) while our pilot gave supplemental information about the area. The views of Hoover and the Canyon and from the helicopter are breathtaking! The first moment you begin to fly into the canyon was my favorite part of the flight. When we landed we had some time to take our pictures and look around while snacks and champagne were set out. The snacks were in individual small boxes, and were things like apple slices, cheese and crackers, a granola bar and cookies, as well as water bottles. We chatted more with our pilot while we ate, and then looked around and took a few more pictures before it was time to take off again. The time in the bottom of the canyon does feel brief, but I think that's because I would have stayed all day if I could have!
Right after we flew out of the canyon we stopped briefly at the small airport there for a refuel before continuing back to the Boulder airport. This time instead of a narration we listened to music and our pilot would give us info as we flew over interesting things, he also offered to answer any questions I had about the switches and controls of the helicopter when he noticed I was looking at all of them.
Once we got back we didn't have to wait long for the shuttle back to the airport. We did have to detour slightly, I can't remember if it was to switch drivers or if there was an issue with the iPad system they used that had to be resolved, but it didn't take too much extra time. Because we did the early flight we got back with plenty of time to spend the rest of the day on the strip.
Overall this trip was a great expierence made even more excellent by our fantastic pilot! Flying into the canyon was amazing, the sites were beautiful, and having a great pilot made the whole experience comfortable and fun! If I'm ever back in Vegas I would do the tour again with family!

My very first helicopter tour. It was a great flight, with a very informative and interesting pilot. The staff at the front desk were also excellent, they were very professional, polite and kept their composure while my crazy dad was being rude to them.

A helicopter flight the American way. When you get close to the edge of the Grand Canyon you will hear on your headphones the intro (cc rider) that Elvis Presley used at the start of his performances, of which exactly at the time of the appearance of Elvis Presley in the song you enters the Grand Canyon. Very nicely done.
An absolute must. From the height you can see how beautiful and big everything is!
The driver's service attitude is good, the ground control personnel have a system, choose a new type of helicopter, can have a larger glass to view the outside landscape, if you can land in the Grand Canyon, it is even better.

Seeing the Canyon from above is simply majestic. They also corrected a booking error I made and refunded money to me. The pilots were informative even before the recorded audio started. They were also friendly and outgoing...and patient. Absolutely loved it.
Very nice flight, where I had to say that we were afraid because the helicopters were partly 40 years old ... But it all worked out great ... An experience that will not be forgotten ...
