Pagoda Resort, Alleppey, Kerala Review

It is a fantastic destination of alleppy back waters. A beautiful location for your RELAX or Merry or for your leisure hunt. This place is one kilometre east from KSRTC bus station ALAPPUZHA.

The resort shows different pics and stay is in a different building, not at all like a resort stay. We had a all meals package, but the dinner was not at all good. Same dishes were made differently. Very lousy service. And despite of the restaurant being empty. Not at all happy. I would rate stay as decent. But don't opt for food package.

Good to take photos but not recommended for stay, no hot water, water rain comes from windows, very slow room service even in case of emergency

Average Experience. The room is big. But bit old. The hotel quality was not up to the mark. The corridor was not even lighted properly. Had a bad experience by using my phone torch. The surrounding places or view from the windows was not at all good( it may differ with rooms).
The water in the pool was bad. So I didn't enter the pool.
Food from the restaurant was awesome. Price is reasonable and taste was Awesome.
Overall average.

Good place for functions like marriages, Conventions , get-togethers and such functions. Accommodation is also good.

Pagoda resort was astonishing in its own way a few years back when it was first started. Now due to the lack of proper maintanence the building structure is not so good looking as it was in the previous years. Eventhough it lacks in outside appearance the interior of the resort is quite calming and luxurious. Also the service is quite pleasing and the keralite food is amazing. It is located just hundred metres to the east of stone bridge, mullackal, alleppey. The resort is perfect for a stay if you are visiting alleppey mainly for a backwater pleasure as the building faces one of the root of the canals of alleppey district which can be viewed even from the first floor. It is a perfect spot.

Its just okay with everyhting. Even restaurant or bar. Price is not too less comparatively.

Beer only served here resort was well maintained few years back but now there's no maintenance done

Stay was peaceful, resort is clean and maintained but had some issues regarding hot water.

Good almost accurate. But need to get improved in some remote areas.

Low cost.. but frequent power cuts.. poor lights, tv etc.. food also not good

Very cramped. This place is built on a very tight budget and it shows. Everything is very small

The place does not mean a resort word in any way the rooms look old and need maintenance and the smell of the rooms is not good ..... but the restaurant food is very delicious and the restaurant service is good

Pagoda is the one of the most big resort in Alleppey.


It have a canal frontage.


Swimming pooll and beer shop facilities available.


Large area for car parking.


Many multi national companies helds meetings here.


View from its toppest floor is awsome.

First of very cheap quality food provided in MAP. Rooms are very small and in couple room as well they have got separate beds. We have booked our rooms a two weeks ago but still when we arrived there , they made us wait for one hour. Overall not recommended

I am sharing my review for room number 309 and 310. We booked delux rooms here. Rooms are just normal standard room type. They have old room furniture, noisy old window ac. As per price one can get much much better options here near by.
Finally They afford for room change after 2 hours of check in but we refuse it as kids get sleepy.

Looks heritage and pleasant ... Service in restaurant for complimentary breakfast requires improvement...

Good resorts in Alastair s/alapuzha. Deluxe rooms and semi deluxe rooms are available, doesn t have much in both rooms except some space. Deluxe rooms are bit spacious.

Complimentary Breakfast buffet for accommodations. Restaurant and swimming pool are also available. Cottage are impressive here.

Must try in Ayurvedic spa.

And a peaceful separate bar counter available.

One of the oldest and best property we have been in Kerala. It contains swimming pool, beer bar, health club and ayurvedic spa. It has best ayurvedic massage packages. We had taken only body massage at Thekkady in 1500 INR where as Pagoda resort provides both full body massage and shiro dhara in 1500 INT. The rooms are very spacious and have AC and electric kettle. In bathroom, there is 24 hr running hot water and bath tub too. The buffet breakfast is just awesome containing North, South and continental options. All and all, value for money.

Room service is excellent... Buffet food is average and needs improvement... Additional beds ordered are not comfortable.... But good place to hang out with friends.

Restaurant at this place is best part of hotel overall ambience of plce and service is goog

It was a wonderful experience staying here...beautiful ambience..food too awesome...staff was cooperative,efficient.The General Manager Mr Bhaskar...was warm courteous and thorough gentleman

Descent restaurant....We had chicken chettinad, pepper chicken, surmai fish masala....But I personally liked here most is mutton roast. Amazing taste and flavour...

The Hel Hotel in Bay State can have beautiful outside villas close to the hotel and a large variety of shops are close to the hotel's mosque

I stayed ij their Superior Deluxe room. Lots of space and affordable too. Great customer service and ample facilities available like ayurvedic treatment available at ur disposal. I would totally recommend it for family as well as youngsters visiting Allapey.

Nice place with maintained pool. Good for family. Need some maintenance in the room. Spa service is also OK. Food is relatively costly. One can explore local food options near hotel. Overall good hotel to choose.
