An awesome place for kids and for adults. There's lots to do there for everyone and you can easily spend a few hours here. There's science demonstrations through out the day and the place is huge! There are lots of different areas that the kids can learn lots of things from animals, sound, space, and even dinosaurs.

PSC is mostly geared towards kids, but the special exhibits and IMAX theater are definitely worth it! The outside has been under construction every time I've visited / walked by, which is a bit disappointing.

This is a must see for kids. There's lots of fun interactive displays for the kids that can be even more useful with a well informed parent to explain the science behind the fun. Either way, PSC is a great attraction. Better yet, it's one of attractions for the Seattle CityPass.

This was a great place, I was slightly disappointed only because I did not realize it was more focused on kids, but it would be brilliant for kids! So many hands on experiences!
The butterfly experience was the greatest! I had a butterfly land on me! I was in heaven!

I recommend taking an annual membership to the Pacific Science Center. I have 2 kids, 3 and 8 years old, and we enjoy spending a couple hours there every other month.
There is too much to see it all in one single visit, and it's great to go many times and enjoy each activity rather than rushing through.

My girlfriend lost her iPhone XS Max here and all the front desk could do about it was take her name and my phone number instead of looking at security cameras and finding out who took the phone. Ruined our trip to Seattle and we ended up just going home afterward because it's hard to enjoy yourself when you just lost a $1000 dollar phone.

The dinosaur portion seemed tired.
There were some very interesting aspects to the centre but we really felt that it was missing something for 10 year olds to early teenagers.

My two year old grandson could have spent hours there! Large, colorful, informative, engaging, wonderful. Somehow we walked in what looked like an awkward spot, but quickly moved to areas with moving displays, sounds and blinking lights.
We spent some time at the paper helicopter wind tunnel thingy - all good. Then on to the mechanical area with the balls, shutes, ladders, he loved em! Then the electrical with lights, ringers, whirly stuff, all battery operated and assisted with knowledgeable helpful and patient volunteers.
The butterfly area would have been my fave, but the 2 year old was unimpressed. The water feature and giant chess game got his thumbs up. We hit up the popcorn cart afterwards. :)

Went yesterday to enjoy a first date in the afternoon. We both loved this place growing up so we figured this would be great to visit again. It definitely was fun to walk in the butterfly house and see all the happy families walking around. Meanwhile we also saw one of the laser shows later in the afternoon and the whole thing was just a blast. I hope to visit again soon to see the Terracotta Warrior exhibit coming up this April!

Exhibits are all super interactive and fun for the kids! My only complaint is that the price is a little high for what you actually get. Definitely would still come again if the kids really wanted to

A good way to spend an afternoon. I am a local, a member, and have been for years. I go every few months or so. The laser was upgraded, and the laser shows are great, albeit they do use much of the same tracks in each show. The butterfly dome is a welcome break from Seattle winter - full of green plants, about 25 degrees Celsius, and crammed with colorful butterflies. The IMAX theaters have been remodeled, so if you want to see some special effects laden blockbuster, this is the spot.

The special events vary. Some are tailored more for kids, but they alternate with adult-oriented fare. The rest of the exhibits are definitely more for the tykes, which is a bit disappointing unless you like people watching. If you like people watching, this is a GREAT place to do it.

The only reason we went here was because we purchased the City Pass. Just like the Pop Museum, we were very disappointed and glad we didn't pay upfront. The included movie was great but the museum itself wasn't worth it at all.

the information regarding member benefits on the website in various places are contradictory. on the IMAX page, it says documentaries are free for members (as shown on the attached screenshot); however, we were told later that they are only free with the 6 passes that come with our membership. there is no footnote on the page stating this, and is completely misleading. we tried to cancel the membership but they are only willing to refund portion of it since we have used the membership twice in two weeks, despite this is due to their lack of clarity on their public information.

Over priced. $18 to park. $18 for soup, chips, water and small beverage in the cage. $51.80 for admission. All other features cost additional. Great place for kids, but as two adults it was mediocre and felt like a waste of time and money. Our visit was less than two hours.

Museum modern, technological, compelling, laboratory, with many different sections.
Among these we point out: the games corner with giant chess, with wooden or metal puzzles. There is a section dedicated to insects, with a room in which to dip among the butterflies and one containing the reconstruction of a real den of desert mice (including live mice). There is a section dedicated to prehistory; a section where the secrets of the human body are discovered. The external part is fascinating, with water games and various experiments in physics, including the one that allows you to take a ride in the void riding a bicycle.

I wish I visited this museum as a kid! The PCC incorporates many aspects of science (animals, nature, health, and earth science, to name a few) with a fun, easy to understand approach. As an adult visiting for the first time I enjoyed the interactivity and impressive detail of the displays, as well as the wide array of fun facts all throughout the museum.

When I first walked through the gates, I was stunned by the display at the entry way. As you walk in, you are greeted by an array of shimmering fountains. I don t know how to describe it, other than that it was beautiful.

My favorite exhibit was the animal exhibit, because there were many animals that I had never seen at other museums before. Love Kim Possible? PCC has naked mole rats. Like bugs? PCC has many different species and even an exhibit about eating them. There is even a butterfly sanctuary with an impressive number of butterflies to interact with.

This is a fantastic museum dedicated to supporting curiosity in STEM, the IMAX theater is the best setting to see any movie, and the laser some is a fantastic evening event to experience with friends. I love this place.

The Pacific Science Center is one of the coolest places within Seattle Center. It is an amazing place to bring the family and kids. Lots of activities for every person. This also includes the best IMAX theater around.

Attendants need microphones when they speak instead of loud yelling. The exhibit and Docents were really interesting. I recommend getting the audio version as well. Amazing displays. Wonderful overall.

IMAX is the best if you are ok with standing in line with your ticket to enter into the hall.its first come first serve basis. Otherwise if you book in late night shows it's always very less people. Dont eat nachos here. Popcorn is good ( without any nonsense salt and overly butterly liquid).

I love this place for the children, but the adults need to keep an on the children for the safety of the kids and the handicaps that enter the facilities in the buildings. When entering the butterfly "sanctuary", the children need to reminded by the adults who are with them. The butterflies were beautiful, especially the ones I saw.

Very interactive science exhibit Museum for kids and adults(mostly kids) IMax theater, butterfly house, tide pool, and plenty of science. Could spend all day here or a few hours if that is all you have. Located in downtown Seattle in the shadow of the Space Needle. There is a parking garage but it fills up so be prepared with a backup parking plan. *They do have discounts for homeschool. Check website for dates.

Was most unhappy, I was extremely thirsty and so I went to the cafe. It is so packed with chairs and tables that I, in my wheelchair, could only exit and then re-enter the elevator. That sends a statement to wheelchair bound people-you aren't wanted here. Got the message.

Honestly, I expected more of this place, especially given the entrance fee. This is really a children's museum. Parents basically pay a lot of money to stand around and watch their kids play. They need to have a reduced fee for all adults accompanied by a child.

Love Pacific Science Center! So much to do here, great for kids and families. Very educational and fun. We decided to buy annual family pass to come here more often and we are looking forward to that Our pass includes 8 documentary IMAX movies, we went and saw Oceans in 3D, it was amazing! Love the butterfly exhibit. Can not recommend this place more. Would like if they had better option to eat something, cafe they have is small, not many offerings and its pricey.
