Super place for family education and fun! Good to have membership here. IMAX, Planetarium, new exhibitions, inside playground for kids, various science sections - I always can find something new and creative! Really complex things can be shown in the simple visual models. Pacific science center encourages scientists inside ourselfs! Highly recommended for all ages!

We love museums, and especially science museums. But this is one of the most outdated and boring science museums we've been to. Maybe it was great 30 years ago, but it definitely isn't worth the admission today.

Example: the dinosaur exhibit has an animatronic dino that must have broken, so he has a green fabric sleeve around his neck. Horrible disrepair on an old exhibit.

Even the ticket / admission booth outside needed cleaning.

One of the best places in Seattle. In addition to world class educational facilities, excellent exhibits, and great location in the middle of the Seattle center, the Imax uses circular polarisation rather than linear so you don't want to puke for 3d movies.

Very big. Lots of different areas to explore, including a dinosaur exhibit, a planetarium, a Lego area, small children area, a tide pool, a cafe, regular live shows, a butterfly house, documentaries to watch, and much more. Lots of fun! And extremely educational.

Amazing experience!

Amazing experience!

The senses are sensitive to each observation, the details, the knowledge acquired in each space.

A fantastic model to be reproduced in other countries so that more people have access to the History of the Universe and the world around them.

A dream come true!

Very expensive for what it is.

Have been to much better science centres. Cost $100 for entry and one Imax show for a family of four. Did not feel worth it.

Most of the hands on displays were very wordy. Did not hold kids' interest. The live talks were a bit boring. Oh maybe we have just been spoiled by the amazing and free London science museum!

It did have some nice bits. It is worth going in if you have a whole day to spend in there. Otherwise, don't bother.

Really fun and interesting place to visit while in Seattle. The exhibits are very cool to interact with and learn from. Everything is geared more towards children, but adults can still find pleasure in their visit too.

Pacific Science Center has a number of activities for all ages. While not the top spot for entertainment, there is still plenty to do. Be sure to call ahead for any special activities for the day. If you plan extra time, there's a ton of other places to visit at Seattle Center as well!

My girlfriend and I visited the science center today and it was pretty interesting. We burned through most of the building in 2 hours, and most of the interesting bits required more money. I think the basic price is more expensive than it should be.

Some interesting exhibits, but adults probably have seen most of it before. Fun place for the kids though.

The elevated bike is pretty fun (and free). Kind of scary at first but perfectly safe.

A great place for both young and old to learn and have fun. They have lots of interactive exhibits that make you understand and appreciate the science behind things. Don't forget to visit the Butterfly House, which is sort of tucked in a little corner. Get the Seattle City Pass and save money!

The King Tut display was better than I had even hoped for and though crowded the workers handled it calmly and smiling.
It was gross walking in past the dirty pools of water. I love the water as we are Seattle but it has to be clean, circulating and filtered.

An interesting museum with tons of activities for younger children. There's a lot to experience and quite a variety of fun science themed hands-on things to do. The parking structure is really cramped and kind of scary to get in and out of. This is something you do with the kids at least once, but I don't think I'd do it again unless they get new attractions.

I went with my daughter's 3rd grade class. The student's were thoroughly engaged. In my opinion over stimulated. It would have been nice to have a guided tour where groups are taken around so as not to miss anything!

I will be back to digest it all!!

Awesome place! All the kids (from 1.5-12 yrs old) really enjoyed it. Make sure to catch the lil shows on the stage throughout the day. And if the VR is available def sign up for a spot (the upstairs one for groups of four) And tix available on groupon!

As an adult without kids, I found that parents use the museum more as a babysitter than a learning tool. Kids of all ages simple run from one exhibit to the next as parents stand back with no attempt of teaching their children or themselves.

It's great if you go there for your (or someone else's) first time, but after that it just seems sad. I went to go see the VR exhibit, and all that they had were 2 VR games that you had to schedule and pay for, and some weird other things. The food is decent at best, but overpriced (as usual). The only thing worthwhile are the space exhibits and the butterfly exhibit. Better for little kids, and in desperate need of updating.
