Staff here was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were a little peeved about the one show we wanted to see was canceled and no one told us when we were getting our prepaid check in earlier in the day.
Anybody visiting should try to go!! Very educational!
Many interactive displays for kids. Immersive butterfly exhibit and insect and reptile exhibits. Colorful animating dinosaurs. I was disappointed that many features shows were not included with admission which adds up quickly for a family. (laser show, iMax show etc.) very impressed with the gallery that taught kids about human health and nutrition!
Family pass awsome. - cjrisymas lights lazer show. Fabulous. Evan good for Christmas shopping. & they have 16 difetent enlongated penny designs!!!!!!
The exhibits here are interesting. I enjoyed the terracotta army that they just got from China. I also thought the butterfly garden was beautiful. I would love to go here again
Hands on fun center. Lots of things for both grown up and kids. I saw the planetarium the show was much too fast and so much better that the one I saw in the 50s. Anther place to visit again

Not what I thought it was. My kids science fair is better then this place.
Solid science center. Live shows are fun, but the place is starting to show its age. More fun for the 8u set, but still enough science/shows for older kids.
Great place for kids of all ages. The have things for toddlers, elementary school kids, and older kids. If you have a young kids, the membership is worth while.
Awesome! Great exhibits. Great staff. Great for kids to discover science and for them to learn how we know what we know about the world.
If toy have a membership to anouther science place you can get in free check your website.there is a national science group that gives you access.
I have a family pass and my kids love this place! We have gone multiple times and they always enjoy it. Parking is not free but I have always found a spot.
An old family favorite, this museum has a great selection of exhibits, from cosmology to entymology. Went to see the Terracotta warriors, which was nicely done. If you can see it, do! Worth the extra cost to get the audio and get extra info. Give yourself at least four hours for the whole museum, though. Got great insight from the well educated employees there. Really appreciate the level of education and knowledge that they lend to the experience. The place has a 1960's vibe to it, which makes sense given its history, and I hope it doesn't lose that little touch of the world's fair atmosphere!
Lots of kids stuff. Great place to take family or kids.
A terrific place to bring kids. Also entertaining for adults as well, however I recommend going when the main exhibit is something that you are really interested in. It make the whole outing so much more worthwhile. Also do not miss the butterfly house.
One note though. I bought my ticket online, but they don't really have a way for you to bypass the line. I had to wait in line with everyone else who was there to buy a ticket. That kind of fell short of my expectations for the tech level of a "science center".
They have some really cool stuff if you're interested in science. The Planetarium and the Laser Show are a must. Make sure you check show timings in advance.
Painfully underfunded, which is a shame. A lot of the stuff here could use an update. Great to visit once or twice but I wouldn't personally get a membership

My husband has been wanting to come here for a long time. We visit from TX so we decided to buy tickets for his parent to come along. We all had a blast, laughing and enjoying all the activities they had to offer. We also learned a lot, the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Memorable experience for sure .
There is a lot for kids to do, though some of it is getting quite old.
I enjoyed it almost as much as my 7 year old. Really well done and engaging science and learning environment. The live shows were phenomenal.
Way better than when i was a kid. Not a bad admission price for what you get. Recommend both kids and adult.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves her today! This is a fantastic way to spend a day with the family. The admission covers you for the day so you can come and go so it makes it easy to work lunch or other events in.
It was very interesting and interactive. The kids can enjoy this too. Very family friendly. The stuff was kind. The stuff always smile.
There's too much insect and animal stuff. The dinosaur section is too fake to be interesting. The laser show gave me a headache I hadn't experienced in years. Not a fan.
Absolutely no interest if you don't have kids... and of course the interesting exhibition are a $15 dollar added to the price of the ticket. A JOKE/SKAM. Stagf/cashier are not nice and the whole site look old and in a bad shape.
It's been a while since I volunteered here, but it is still a great place. Entry fees and parking is a downer as it can be expensive and hard to find good parking, on weekends it's super busy but during the week in the summers it's not as bad. They have a little cafeteria, but it's not the best place to get food.
Enjoyed the butterfly exhibit. Many activities to try were broken.
So much to do and love the choices of food in the Armory
It was a great place to bring my kid's. Had a lot of fun things to do to keep them entertained and for the adults as well.

The science center offers amazing exhibits all year long. Don't miss their seasonal exhibits either!
