Always a great place to spend an hour or a day when it s raining. Every exhibit is packed with information so you can spend your entire time in any one. The staff are super friendly and very informative. Find one to hang with and you will be surprised what you learn

My favorite: the butterfly museum. Sit quietly and wait for a miracle.

This place needs work. We had two kids with us, 11 and 8, so decided not to go to MoPop as we didn t think the youngest would like it as much as the rest of us. We went to PacSci instead. This place is, to put it as nicely as possible, run down. It s old, nothing seems updated, there s not much to do or see for the adults and everything looks old, run down or dilapidated. Best part was the butterflies and I can see those at home. Nothing of note in this place. Not worth the visit. Go to MoPop instead.

Great experiences here the kids love it there's always plenty of options of things to do while you're there. And I love all the education that comes along with it and the interaction

Staying late and working weekends on a moment's notice...managerial decisions that change in the blink of an eye...little to no communication inter-company or to field workers...training based on whims of managers and how much of a ' yes man' you are...rewarded for high skill levels/good work morale by having to take on others responsibilities in addition to your own...understaffed and underpaid...level of job responsibility keeps increasing without any compensation...culture of tattling on co-workers to gain favoritism with managers....favoritism in general runs rampant...unreliable employees with terrible attitude towards company and employees kept on...no accountability for hardly anything

Went with my 2 granddaughters who are under 4. They came from outta state, and boy did they have a GREAT time. If your looking for someplace a toddler can run around and explore this is the place for you.

We've been members here for quite a while. My son never tires of going here! We had a successful birthday party for a reasonable price. I really appreciate them caring about accessibility for people with disabilities as well. Definitely go for a membership to make it affordable for your family! It pays for itself rather quickly.

Most of the displays are simplistic. Good attraction for kids. Adults will be bored. There's an IMAX and VR exhibitions that look decent but require you pay another fee on top of the $25 general admission. Maybe good for a young family but otherwise an overpriced aged attraction

The part where different species are shown is amazing. There's a butterfly green house which is worth visiting. Yet, the other parts of the science center are quite boring. Some of the machines are out of order.

I came here with my sister, who is majoring in science at a major university, and we were incredibly disappointed with our visit. First off, we had no idea that the science center is for children, there was hardly any interesting scientific information and half of the interactive portions of the museum were out of order.

As a designer myself, I was incredibly upset with the lack of detail that went into the exhibits. Things were taped up to the walls, signage was printed on 8.5x11 printer paper etc. The layout of the entire center was terrible....The entrance to building 1 brought you directly into the cafe and there was hardly any wayfinding to tell you where you were. We had to make our way through the cafe seating to find the staircase down to a random lobby.

Definitely do not come to the pacific science center if you are not with children or want to learn factual information.

And, if you have the Seattle City Pass, most definitely head to the Chihuly glass museum (it s a must see).

A place where imagination and innovation run wild. The VR experiences make for a great date or family activity. The laser dome is a mesmerising experience. They've got butterflies and reptiles too!

Ok.

A different but nice experience in the science centre. Enjoyed the combustion and amazing air science show. But the planetarium was a disappointing show... first the show is pathetic, only fit for toddlers. Second the timings of the show are not mentioned when buying city passes. Third the shows are not frequent or every hour show so that it coincides with the centre tour. Fourth You need to arrive early to book a planetarium show which is not worth and then come back again for a show which is at 3 or 4 pm. Fifth its just a interactive show and there is no recorded show... video quality is not that great.

Just left after spending maybe 45 minutes total here. They have a gaming exhibit that I thought my husband might enjoy because it's "recommended for all ages" but the audience it was designed for (and it wasn't designed well) is definitely 10-12 and below, like much of the museum in general. The gift shop and the dinosaurs are the best part. I wish it was stated that the Science Center is for children instead of all ages. This is not really great for adults and after spending roughly $75 between general admission and parking I guess I just expected a whole lot more for my money than I got. At least I got an updated picture of myself in the giant table and chairs?

Great value for your money. Membership recommended. Kids enjoy their refresh every few months with some ever green display. You can use it to gain entrance to other science centers that are more 90 miles away.

In town for vacation and bought the 4 pack of tickets which included the monorail, the Space Needle, the glass museum and this place. The name should really say something about being a kids science center. We seen "Pacific Science Center" and thought it would have more information adults could get involved in. We like out science, but this place is geared towards elementary ages kids. The science presented is totally geared towards the under 10 age group.

Fun, interactive. Needed some more time to spend here since I was rushed on my visit.

It's very close to other attractions, so make sure to plan accordingly. The exhibits were very cool, and there's something for everyone. Although it's mainly directed to kids, there are some cool things to keep the adults entertained.

Like this if it was helpful!

It's not a big museum.

It's not a big museum.
It's still good to visit, but for the tickets prices I was expecting more than it really is. I definitely think that Seattle city should have a better science museum or at least be free entrance like L. A. does. I'll recommend go one of the other places located at the Space needle, like the music museum or the art gallery.

Love coming here with my nieces. They have stuff for toddlers all the way up to teens. The Butterfly house is a must stop. Every time I wear a flower and vist, a butterfly lands on me. Check the planetarium hours before you go. They have shows all day, but some of them are specialized, such as their toddler show. They do have a little cafe, but I suggest bringing a lunch. Carefully though the seagulls by the park bench will try and grab it.

I was very disappointed with the lack of exhibits. One hole wing was virtual reality exhibits that you had to pay to try. The Dinosaurs were nice. The physical sciences were cool. The IMAX theater was very nice and the gift shop was overpriced like they all are. In my opinion OMSI in Portland, Oregon is way better.

My husband and I are members of the Science Center and we enjoy attending events here, and catch as many IMAX movies as possible! I love the butterflies and naked mole rats, every time we visit we learn something new! Great way to spend a rainy afternoon!

I went with my sister in law and my niece and it was awesome! We didn't have a ton of time to explore, but we did the virtual reality, saw a laser light show, and checked out the naked mole rats. Everything was so interactive and be kid friendly. I would definitely return to explore the rest of the exhibits!

Went here with my sister about 20 years ago. Brought my son last month and he had a blast. Brought back memories, though they have a ton of new things. Always fun to go here with kids or to kill time and be silly. Love the puzzles too!
