Do the City Pass to save $. Robot dinosaurs were fun to see. IMAX movie on butterflies was OK just 45 minutes. Insect gallery was neat seeing those big bugs like in Indiana Jones Temple of Doom movie. Other stuff is mostly educational exhibits for kids. Allow at least 2 hours to see everything and 1 movie.

I honestly was not impressed with this place. I would not pay to go here again. It's more reading than interacting. My kids did not want to sit and listen to me read about things. They did have fun, but a lot of the things were broken. You have to pay extra to do the laser dome. It's dirty. I felt dirty after leaving. The butterfly exhibit was okay, we've been to better. Overall it's not very impressive. Expect to pay for parking and making sure you understand where the entrance is. For visitors it was a little confusing.

I'm going back all the time it was so much fun The only problem was that it seemed to be geared towards older kids and I have a two-year-old but she had fun also in the dinosaur area the dinosaurs are the same ones from when I was a kid so they're a little bit run down but no less fun to look at

We had so much fun here. It is definitely directed towards children, but they have a virtual reality section that has some games for adults. We enjoyed it very much. Nice for a rainy day.

High energy and great fun for families. Hands on learning - mechanical engineering, biology, physics, health and space. Tiny butterflies to huge dinosaurs captivate imaginations. A membership to this great museum will be enjoyed all year and no one would ever be bored!

The Science Center is a beautiful facility and always fun for all ages. The staff is friendly and well informed. The butterfly exhibit is a favorite, as well as the laser shows and the IMAX Theater. The Terra Cotta Warriors exhibit is stunning.

If could do more then five stars, I would have to give this place of a range of ten stars. A great place to not only bring children but also people of all ages, even if you do not have children and or grandchildren with you. This is still a place to take yourself and bring the youth back into yourself as well as life.
A great place to learn, a safe and friendly inveriment with helping hands and questions to be handled and or answered.

My sister loves butterflies and so I periodically take her to the Pacific Science Center so she can visit the Butterfly House. It's magical. They literally land on you, so the staff checks each visitor upon departure.

An excellent collection of events and exhibits throughout the year. It's been named as Seattle's premier destinations for arts, entertainment and leisure activities. One of my favorite events is the Bite of Seattle that goes on each year.

Been able to touch and interact with the experiments and exhibits is a great way to engage kids into science. The body wellness exhibit was super tire cause there are many things that require you to do "exercise" in order to see something happen.

This is a daycare pretending to be a children mesuem. It has limited interactive "exhibits" to keep your kids entertained, but the magic is lost after 30min and then they'll either cry of absolute boredom or damage the displays. A ton of the screens were unresponsive or broken and there's no staff in site. Honestly, give your kid a tablet with some games and save your money. Or, go to the museum of pop culture, that is money well spent.

This place is a little dated now but still definitely worth visiting. They have several unique exhibits and it is a great way to learn about science! If you can go on a sunny day, I suggest doing that as well.

I would give more stars but it was overpriced, and some of the staff were pretty rude. Including yelling at the children over and over again for "not following directions" when they were indeed trying to follow such directions, and at a different exhibit my nieces got yelled at by a different employee, when I was right there telling her to stop. I don't need people to yell at my nieces when I'm already instructing them to follow the rules. Sadly I do not have the employees names. Other than that the experience was fine.

Really nice place to take your kids. The yearly membership has some benefits. It has a play area for toddlers, small touchable pool that has hermit crabs and sea anemone. As well as the planetarium that explains about stars and moon, decent size of dinosaur exhibits that moves little bit. My 4 and 2 years old toddlers had so much fun for 4 hours and still wanted to play more. Take your kids here and they will love it.

No southern entrance/exit at night. South door locked at night. Better to take 2 bus get off between Denny and Mercer on west. Walk in. Bus back one street west. Great lazer shows at night. Dress warm at night they close all the waiting areas for lazer shows. Have to wait outside for nite show if too early. Imax shows very good day or night. Lots of kid activities on weekends during day. Planetarium shows very good to fair depending on host. Still a great place. Miss the rides and ferris wheel

I chose the Boeing IMAX theater for my second viewing of Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker. I was not disappointed in the movie or the venue. Although parking was too expensive and the theater is an hour drive from my house it was still worth it. If I'm going to watch an IMAX movie it'll be in this theater. I wish they would go to reserve seating someday but it was no problem finding a good seat. Also, I love the whole Pacific Science Center. When our children were younger we were members and went frequently

Some of the features are quite dated in appearance but overall it is a fantastic place to bring young kids. Just hope you don't arrive on a middle school field trip day, when hundreds of tweens careen around.

We have always loved the Pacific Science Center. We've been going there since our sons were young, and now we're going with our granddaughter. The Science Center has an incredible range of displays, which appeal to a broad range of ages. The transient shows/displays are always a treat, and the IMAX theaters never disappoint. If you're a Seattle resident, an annual membership is well worth the cost and is the most economical way to explore this hallmark destination.

So much to do for kids and parents. Our son is 14 months old and enjoyed so much. It wore him out that he slept well into the night. We were impressed how big and spacious this is. Definitely a good place to go especially on a rainy day. We decided by the end of the visit to get the membership. Well worth it for locals. Will be coming back again.

Conflicted about this one. It's name says "science center" but it's really just a children's museum. I guess it could be good for kids, but for adults not so much.
+1 for the butterfly room

Great time for our 5 year old daughter. Had to drag her away after 4 hours. Really enjoyed the butterfly exhibit and the iMax 3d Panda movie. Parking sucked though but it is Seattle. I would suggest bundling with Space Needle to Dave some cash.

I'm a homeschooler and my son loves the hands-on activities that Pacific Science Center has. Some of the hands-on activities are touching starfish, anemone, hermit crab, building air pressure, measuring the amount of sugar in drinks (like sodas, juice, milk, water), etc.
It also has IMAX movies that you can watch on Volcanoes, Turtle Odyssey, Butterflies, etc. It also has a Laser Dome which I will definitely look in to the next time I take my son there!
Getting a membership would be worth it, and if you have Medicaid, they provide a discounted membership for the whole family for a year. So take your children, enjoy learning while having fun!

We just loved the terracotta warriors! Traveled to Seattle by Amtrak with my 10 yr old grandson and 5 yr old granddaughter to visit all the wonderful sights in Seattle and this was just 1 of the attractions. Highly recommended this for kids of all ages lol.
