I been a member for several years and feel it s totally worth it, even as my kids have gotten older. The current VR Exhibit is a great way to experience VR for the first time and see the real magic about it.

The butterfly exhibit is always great with a huge variety of beautiful plants and butterflies. Both theaters are great and catching an IMAX Educational film is always worth it.

The Laser shows can be a little hit and miss but I really like the Stranger Things show.

On nice days they will have drip in science shows outside so look out for them.

Excellent exhibits with beautiful outdoor areas. Cafe was extremely accommodating of our food allergies and dietary preferences. A staff member overheard our discussion about looking for vegan options and volunteered to make something off menu for us. Kids especially liked that they had vegan ice cream available. Exhibit staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our experience.

With our without kids the Pacific Science Center is worth the price of admission! We have been members before kids and took several trips to visit. Imax and ladder shows passes make it totally worth it. With kids it is an absolute magical experience. The kids just light up. Don't miss it!

A wonderful place to visit with children. There are many different exhibitions and play areas (water park, dinosaur exhibition, etc.). It will be interesting for both children and adults. You can visit an exhibition of tropical butterflies - a small one, but it is very interesting for children to see them live.

Buying the city pass while in Seattle is such a great idea and offers big savings if you are planning to stay a week in Seattle. We had great time at the pacific science Centre in Seattle and the kids enjoyed it very much and learned few things while being there.

I ve been coming here since I was a kid, so there s a lot of nostalgia here for me. The exhibits are fun, and the kids always enjoy coming here and learning new things! Their new exhibits are always exciting, but they could definitely use some updates on the older areas that have been the same for 20+ years.

Fun, interactive sciemce museum. Show up ready to PLAY! Explore things from dinosaurs to outer space to practical knowledge. Learn about the body from top to bottom and test yourself- endurance, flexibility, balance- who can get the best score? Learn about energy, how we consume and exert it; jump, crank, pull, pedal to see how much energy it takes to trigger events. Get 'sneezed' on, play games to learn about how germs spread. Play with water toys in the toddler play area, climb up to the double size kitchen table to feel like a doll in a dollhouse, ride a bike 15 ft in the air. Dozens and dozens of exotic butterflies flutter around you in the garden. Take on an engineering challenge in the little maker section, well stocked with craft supplies. This is not a museum for LOOKING- this is a museum for DOING. Perfect for small children, but our group's yoingest member was 13 and we still very much enjoyed our visit.

Highly recommend this museum, above the other attractions we visited in Seattle. I brought my 5 year old and spent all day - we probably could have come back every day for a week and found every minute engaging. We loved the Virtual Reality experiences, frequent live education programs with engaging and exciting teachers, butterfly house, touchable tidepool and outdoor courtyard water features.

There is so much stuff for kids to do here and some of it is quite educational. We only had a couple of hours to spare so we didn't get a chance to explore the entire place... But our 4 and 5 year old boys didn't want to leave. If you want to see the entire place, you'll want to dedicate at least 3-4 hours (perhaps more) to really see the whole place. They have a nutrition center/cafeteria type thing (for kids) where you semi-digitally make meal plans and it gives tips on how you can improve the meal plan. Even though it was for the kids, as an adult, I found it quite entertaining. My son also got to touch a real sheep brain (with gloves of course) as well as a real starfish. It's the main things he remembers from the place.

This was a great place for our little family to visit. I feel my 5 year old son learned a lot, but, it may be suited to an older audience with a longer attention span. Iyself wanted to stay longer at displays and learn a bit more.

I will say that it is expensive.

He didn't want to leave. We spent 3 hours there and I know we didn't see or do everything. The cafeteria is also decent with a few choices for every age. Definitely going there again!

I took my fifth grade class here on a field trip and they loved it. We did a life science lab about brains where the students were actually able to touch and examine a real sheep brain; it was a big hit, even for the chronically disengaged. The exhibits were well maintained for the most part, with a couple of them beginning to show their age, but even those let me share some nostalgia with my kids about my trips to PacSci as a kid. This place is always worth a visit.

I loved it and so did my kids. My wife not so much, she's not a nerd like I am. There was a lot to explore and I'm pretty sure we missed more than what we paid for. But that just gives me an excuse to go back.

For the price and size of the facility, you'd think there would be more to do. We easily saw the entire place within a few hours with my toddler. He was entertained the entire time by all of the hands-on activities, but as an adult I was left feeling like there ought to have been more. The most recent time we went the dinosaurs were in serious need of repair (being held together with black duct tape). With as much as we pay for tickets, in hoping some of it will soon go back into fixing those poor dinosaurs!

The exhibits are dated and it doesn't change up very often (with the exception of usually having one rotating exhibit), but my kids enjoyed it enough when they were little that we always got membership. Going any more often than once or twice a year though..? Bring a book.

Overall nice exhibit but ridiculously hot..was told they couldnt have doors open while waiting due to policy..a lot of children and older adults were complaining. Paid a bit much to be sweating.

The plethora of fun learning activities makes this an easy win for our family. The museum has wear & tear but the exhibits make up for that. When I went last I noticed more adult couples w/o kids than family groups which was surprising but makes sense considering all there is to offer from the butterfly garden, IMAX, laser light show, outdoor fun, and tinker space.
I highly reccomend a membership.
*went back for our 2nd visit & the VR & fun interactive screen activity had changed so we got to something new. Also, there was a snowball fight along with fun winter scene around the corner.
Glad the museum switch it up!

I have done various science programs through PacSci and have been visiting since I was a child. As an adult, I still love this place and everything it stands for, bringing science education to our community. Thank you for creating a science nerd!

Sir Isaac Newton stated: Nature is just fine with the transmutation of light into bodies and bodies back into light. Albert Einstein stated: All matter is a local manifestation of energy that is light. In layman's terms that would be a spark of life transmuting or manifesting into a 666 biological carbon vessel. Then when that carbon vessel expires and returns to dust the spark of life it contained would return to turn the light from which it came.
