Came with Son in a school visit. In spite that some of the disolays are outdated or non functional, it is a great place for learning; would recommend being prepared to have to explain some of the stuff to the kids. The laser show is the best of the whole place... OB-1, the guy running it rules

My son (2 yo) enjoys this, but the exhibits are very dated and some do not work. The hand sanitizer stations are always broken, and the water in the tide pool was very dirty. Not very impressed overall.

Great meusem for the family featuring art, technology, and prehistoric exhibits separating them by different sections and stories. Extremely interactive, "hands on" is encouraged. As you first enter, the first portion of the building features everything from static electricity to gravity and the mechanics of momentum. The outside can be reached once you get to the top story. Once outside, you will find yourself in a large courtyard surrounded by buildings. Each building has its own exhibits. The court yard features large water cannons where kids can shoot at moving water mills and other sorts of mechanical moving parts. From here you can visit any exhibit you wish. One of them focuses in Virtual Reality. Pretty cool and interesting stuff. An other one features prehistoric models of dinosaurs. One more exhibit features simple musical instruments and the utility of air and sound. There is planetary section and also a section with live moles in a controlled environment. So much to see here. At least 4 hours to see and interact with everything. Highly recommended. Follow me and my adventures ig: @Sin_Aguayo fb: sin Aguayo

Lots of fun with my 3 year old, will just get better as she gets older. Bring your own food or plan on leaving and coming back. The small cafe has snacks and does have some sandwiches/pizza but it's pretty basic and of course expensive for what you get. It more like a quick mart than a cafe. There are plenty of tables that you can eat your own food on there.

I would prefer more advanced and cohesive topics. Some of it seemed random, like it was just whatever they could find. Maybe 20% was in bad repair and didn't work. Good quantity, though. Takes 2-2.5 hours or so.

We love the PSC! If you can find street parking, go for it...that will save you some money. Otherwise, they have a close parking structure with set prices per hour. My kids love it there!

Love it. Great for kids and adults. The hands-on, interactive way the science center's set up is an engaging and fun style that educates people about an array of fascinating topics. It's an evolving center, so if you only visit it every couple of years, there will be something new every time.

I grew up loving museums, so even though I'm now an adult, I was excited to see what PSC had to offer. With how many buildings there are and how large the center is, I went in thinking and expecting there to be much more than there actually is. While there were some interesting things to see, for the most part it seems pretty empty. Many of the exhibits are dated (dinosaur exhibit and the space exhibit, especially) and a few were in states of repair (poor dinosaur has a broken neck!). The dinosaur + space parts of the museum have some interesting information but are on the small side.

While I can't help but feel it would be great for very young children + their families, as someone who grew up with museums that were packed full of stuff to see and do and learn, this didn't quite live up to what I expected after seeing so many rave reviews. I am not sure exactly what it was that I was expecting but it was certainly more than what's inside, especially when you are paying as much as you are for a ticket.

The people that I ran into that worked there were nice and seemed to enjoy what they do (especially the man that was doing a little informative show/experiment for some children). They are doing repairs on the broken exhibits, and the VR exhibit seems like it could be really neat, but right now is a little lacking overall. If you're going to see anything here the butterfly exhibit is on the small side but is very beautiful and I would recommend it.

However it was very sad to see some of the animals kept in the exhibits they were in - I would like to think that they would only be in these cages during the time that the center is open but some of the animals just seemed unhappy.

It only took an hour or so for us to walk through all of the buildings at a slower pace and read some of the information.

The outside of the center is gorgeous with all of the water, sculptures, and plants, and that was very enjoyable to walk around in. The inside of the building though, I hate to say, more than kind of let me down. It may be worth it to come back in the future if things are repaired/updated and exhibits are added on or expanded, but as of right now I must sadly say it is not.

At first we were unimpressed by the small room that we entered, thinking "Science world in Vancouver is way bigger than this." Then we realized we had only seen one of the four buildings. Lots of interactive exhibits and fun things to do. The butterfly room was amazing. Lots of friendly butterflies in a tropical feeling room made a wintery day warm. They also have a neat fluid dynamics table tucked in a stairwell that was mesmerizing. Highly recommended. If you are local consider the family pass, it saves a bunch of money if you go more than once.

The place is great and full of information, with fun things to do and see. The location is also optimal for visiting the Space Needle and have a quick bite to eat. The problem that I have with the museum is that the price is too much. You should save your money and go to another that costs less. You will get more for your money.

I loved it, it is an excellent place for children who always have questions, besides children can play with everything with absolute freedom, learn while playing, I recommend it a lot, tickets can be purchased from the website in package with the neddle and the Monoriel and the price goes down a bit

So expensive. $97 for 2 adults and 3 kids. Exhibits all worked, fun and educational, clean restrooms. It's a bit spread out with some dead ends so having an easy flow wasn't happening. Kids aged 1 to 12 all had a great time, though, and so did the adults.

I took my 2 kids here (18 months and 9 years old) and they loved it! So much to do and see. My 18 month old attempts to get into everything. Fortunately, the science center is 75% baby proof. As a scientist, I appreciated how each exhibit was not only made to have fun, but learn something too. Be sure and get your FREE PLANETARIUM tickets when you enter. Don't be late, they won't open the door for you.
