I grew up loving museums, so even though I'm now an adult, I was excited to see what PSC had to offer. With how many buildings there are and how large the center is, I went in thinking and expecting there to be much more than there actually is. While there were some interesting things to see, for the most part it seems pretty empty. Many of the exhibits are dated (dinosaur exhibit and the space exhibit, especially) and a few were in states of repair (poor dinosaur has a broken neck!). The dinosaur + space parts of the museum have some interesting information but are on the small side.

While I can't help but feel it would be great for very young children + their families, as someone who grew up with museums that were packed full of stuff to see and do and learn, this didn't quite live up to what I expected after seeing so many rave reviews. I am not sure exactly what it was that I was expecting but it was certainly more than what's inside, especially when you are paying as much as you are for a ticket.

The people that I ran into that worked there were nice and seemed to enjoy what they do (especially the man that was doing a little informative show/experiment for some children). They are doing repairs on the broken exhibits, and the VR exhibit seems like it could be really neat, but right now is a little lacking overall. If you're going to see anything here the butterfly exhibit is on the small side but is very beautiful and I would recommend it.

However it was very sad to see some of the animals kept in the exhibits they were in - I would like to think that they would only be in these cages during the time that the center is open but some of the animals just seemed unhappy.

It only took an hour or so for us to walk through all of the buildings at a slower pace and read some of the information.

The outside of the center is gorgeous with all of the water, sculptures, and plants, and that was very enjoyable to walk around in. The inside of the building though, I hate to say, more than kind of let me down. It may be worth it to come back in the future if things are repaired/updated and exhibits are added on or expanded, but as of right now I must sadly say it is not.
