Hands down best theater in Seattle. I won't see IMAX or 3D anywhere else anymore, and the sound system is unbelievable. Get your tickets online and come early (like 30-45 minutes early) if it's within the first two weeks of a big movie's release you're seeing. The que gets very long but moves rapidly once doors open.

One of the best places to take your kids in Seattle. They are constantly bringing in new exhibits and attractions to keep it fresh. My kids love this place, and there's stuff for kids of all ages! If you're a local, I definitely recommend the membership
We went as it was part of the Go Seattle card, and it was a pleasant surprise. Great for all; adults, kids, couples, on your own or families. Very interesting and interactive. The IMAX is good.
Hands down, the best science center we have visited. So many things to do and totally engaged the kids (and the kid in me). I would recommend a visit for anyone, but especially for those with kids.
A ton of cool things here for kids and adults. Lots of hands-on stuff. They had a butterfly room when I was there which was beyond neat. Would go here again. Bring kids.
Also, don't bring old people (parents) to the laser show. It is mainly video game music and lasers. My parents said they felt like they needed to be on drugs to enjoy it. They don't do drugs.
There is so much to see and do here. You can't see it all in one day. Good quality fun for kids of a wide variety of ages. Even my 14 month old baby had a great time. Only giving 4 stars just because it is a little bit pricey. But overall worth the cost for a special outing.
You'll definitely need at least two days to explore all this place has to offer! From butterflies to a WHOLE bouldering dedicated to a one of a kind VR experience to visiting all our galaxy and beyond has to offer. Fun for all ages! You won't want to miss it, I'm glad I didn't!
Just got out of the Laser Justin Beiber show at PacSci. It was terrific! Completely recommend you see this show with Teddy as the laser "choreographer" (for lack of a better term). He did a fantastic job matching themes withn the songs. Good job, Teddy!
I love the Sherlock Exhibit. This makes me want to go back again for the other exhibits. I went with my step dad and we both stay longer than we had planned because it was so much fun!
Best membership I have ever purchase. Worth its weight in gold, my kids loves the place and there are always new events. The only thing is finding parking there.
Very cool interactive activities to learn about nutrition. There was a factory line set up of food that you had to scan to make 3 balanced meals for a day.
Preeminent Science center located on the Seattle center grounds (home of the 1962 World's fair) . The center which is housed in many buildings, features a large display of items and hands on experiments.
Also featured is a IMAX theater, Laser dome, and a butterfly conservatory.
It is difficult to cover all exhibits in 1 day. Plan on multiple visits.
Even though I never got to experience this cool place as a kid, I still had a great time running around the science center waiting for the Jurassic world showing. Coming with the Jeeps, and taking pictures, and having basically a free science center experience was honestly super cool, and I hope I can do it again!
The Pacific Science Center is fun for even Adults! Great place the exhibits were fun even with cheesy things like the dinosaurs and the butterfly exhibit was by far the best exhibit there. I attended a laser show Queen themed which was very fun and I highly recommend it if your there! I also checked out the " Art of the Brick" special exhibit and it was amazing!! If you go you must check it out it's worth it!
Our family visited Pacific Science Center over thanksgiving break. My daughter love it. Butterfly garden was amazing. Movies were good and informative. laser show felt little outdated. Overall worth visiting one time.
This is a really fun place, and very inviting. Between the exhibits and shows, there is always something fun going on. Check out the laser show if possible!
I love the Pacific Science Center. We bought the family membership and It was worth every penny. Tons things to be done like the butterfly place, Lazer Dome ,Thinker Tank and the dinosaur exhibit. Every time we find something new to be done. I have 9, 7 and 4 years old kids, they all find something to do and enjoy , I would definitely buy the membership again.
I was here with my nephew who is 5 and he absolutely enjoyed it here. The exhibits were great and the staff was very friendly. The water section outside was especially enjoyable, with some water guns and a giant water "hamster wheel". This was much better than the Children's Museum.
Great monorail access, awesome rotating exhibits. Fun permanent fixtures. All around a great family outing. Very kid friendly. Entertaining for kids and adults alike.
Great time for kids and adults....highly recommend going...could use some more staff.....but then again the staff could use more training, ESPECIALLY AT THE LASER SHOW staff was really rude...to kids! No less! Wth!
Great museum for kids of all ages. Be sure to check out the laser shows and documentaries. Well worth a membership. It's often hard to see it all in one visit.
Very important, there are several attractions that even if they are free, require a separate ticket. The free ticket is usually issued close to the attraction itself (eg Planetarium or virtual reality, not the butterfly) and has a precise timetable, the seats are limited and they run out quickly. I recommend as soon as you walk in to collect the reservations that interest you.
Awesome place for kids and adults alike. The admission fee can be steep, for my party of two adults and a 3.5 year old, we paid roughly sixty-two dollars, so plan on going in the morning and spending as much time enjoying the whole place (you can go in and out with a hand stamp after initial entry in case you need to go out and eat).
Went there for the dinosaur exhibit (a small, permanent exhibit of a few of the most famous ones) plus the special three-day train show happening this MLK weekend for my train then dinosaur fan toddler.
Unfortunately it was a little too crowded for my son who got jostled by bigger and/or aggressive kids. So if your little one is still learning to stand his or her ground, a bit shy or averse to big crowds, come on a weekday.
Parking is also a bit challenging on a weekend at the Seattle Center so keep that in mind. The restrooms are clean, there are water fountains in strategic areas, a cafe if you want to sit down for coffee or a snack by the dinosaur exhibit, or get popcorn, soda and candies down by the IMAX theater.
If you are a big crowd, say at least eight people, purchasing a family membership will be cheaper. And after an exhausting (and expensive) trip to the Science Center, save on dining costs by heading to the Metropolitan Market (less than a 10 minute walk away) and check out their hot bar, deli and numerous dessert options.
Very fun for families! Me (23), my dad (49), my step-mom (40), and my sister (20 months) all had fun! Me, my dad, and my step-mom have been here before, but it was the first time for my baby sister! She seems to have enjoyed it! Me, my dad, and my sister enjoyed the room full of instruments in the kids area! We also saw a educational IMAX movie about Spirit bears, she sat through almost all of it without getting fussy surprisingly, that was her first movie theater experience. I highly recommend this place for families!
The King Tut exhibit is beautiful and well worth the cost of admission. The rest of the science center looks like it would be good for kids - but I'd pass on it if you are an adult.
Lots of cool things to check out, but if you're not a kid person, I would never go here. I could barely handle the kids at certain points lol. The displays are pretty interactive for the most part, however, most of the cool things I went for were closed down for repair, or weren't letting people in. I bit disappointing considering I was visiting from Canada.
